Red Nails

My wife asked me to review Red Nails for her:
been a regular client of Red Nails. Great massages, excellent customer service. I recommend them to all of my friends. Walk-​ins welcome, as well as appointments ahead.

Run as far away from this place as possible. Horrible service. Horrible attitude by owner. She was arguing with me about what I wanted. I never did get my nails done like I asked. I went in with pink nails. She covered the growth with clear. You could still see it. I told her to use the pink for cover. I didn’t want to see growth. She got very upset. I almost walked out but decided not to. She started arguing with me telling me I couldn’t change the color. I asked her why I would want 1 white nail and the rest pink??? !
My nails ended up horrible. I covered them with solid pink polish to keep from seeing growth. The polish job left gel all over my fingers. A 10yr old could have done better than this place.
I will drive the extra distance from now on to go to Nails 2000 in Spanaway. No complaints ever. Guess I’m spoiled by great service.

Just got my nails done. I’m really happy with them.
I came in looking to remove my old shellac nails & I came out with pretty nails. I only paid 25 $, which is way better than I thought & cheaper than the last salon I went to.

About the only thing was the price of the waxing! I got burned and she said it was because my ‘skin «was «dry’ it left a scar and won’t go back again!

Not the worst nail salon I’ve ever been to, but I won’t return. Gel nails and a pedicure cost me $ 50, and my nails look like crap. Plus they are less than welcoming. It was an awkward hour to say the least. Thank god dr Phil was on tv to give me something to pretend to do.

Disappointed! Went to this place because it had the best reviews. Went for a 30 dollar mani pedi, ended up paying 45 dollars because the scrub they use on your feet is an extra 5 dollars (I wasn’t told that) and a flower painted on my toe was 5 dollars each toe!!! (I wasn’t told that) I brought in a picture of the flowers painted on someone’s nails I saw in a review and was told that wasn’t possible to paint. I was over all this but it’s a day later and my manicure is almost totally chipped off. Giving this place 2 stars because the leg massage was nice. I feel like I paid 45 dollars for a leg massage.

Spacious, friendly and well priced nail shop. Walk ins welcome and plenty of space. Definitely my go to pedicure place in Yelm. Ask for Erin, she’s awesome!

The owner does my nails every week, her work is consistently good! I have tried other places in Yelm, and this is far the best.

The people are oh so nice, so friendly and good prices. But my finger was cut open today by the drill and my nails look terrible. No manicure was performed even though I asked for it. Ended up having some powder fake nails done because my nails are too thin. I then asked for a simple manicure and nail polish, very persistent and didn’t seem to understand me. I like the gals but this left a sour taste in mouth. Too bad.

I have been getting my nails done for over 16yrs and this is the WORST nail shop I have ever been to. The nail tech rushed through my nails, charged me $ 20 for gel nail polish without telling me, cut my finger and did not sanitize her tools, and my over all experience left me feeling horrible because of their poor business choices. I am only giving them 1 star because I have to.

I’ve been getting my nails done here for over a year. She does am excellent job and I have never had any issues withe the nails at all. As they are a small business they have very few staff though. While most of their business is walk-​ins I always make an appointment so that I know I won’t have to wait. The ladies try really hard to accommodate everyone and they are very friendly.

My friend and I was in the area while running some errands… and stumble upon this place on our way back home. The lady did an awesome on my pedicure and my shellac nails, It stay on for 3 weeks. I will definitely come back if I’m in the area again. !! really great place and I highly recommend this to anyone who’s in the area and need a nail place to go.

Worst manicure ever. Was seated and a lady was working on me and a customer walked in… Lady working on me said to her I couldnt get him on the phone, Customer says, well you are going to have to do me. The lady working on me shoos me over to the next station and has a man start doing my manicure with gel polish. He was so rough I have friction burns on my fingers below the cuticle and my nails were sharp and rough. I had to file the nails and doctor my fingers when I returned home. I will never go there again.

I just walked in and they were able to get me in for my french manicure. I had Erin working on my nails and she was really sweet, she worked efficiently and was easy to talk to. I would recommend seeing Erin. Really great place and I love my nails!
