Went here for dinner, the appetizers and burgers were cooked to perfection and severed in a timely manner. That being said, what really made the meal was the wait staff-Shannon was spectacular, not only was she attentive but her recommendations were on the money. Thank-you for a great meal.

Worst service I hacd received in a long time. We arrived at the restaurant. My wife was excited about trying it. I was skeptical. I would rather go to Elevation Burger which I love. Anyways, there was a 10 min wait we sat at the bar and ordered drinks. Our table ready before the 10 minutes. While at the table, NOONE came to greet us, put water in our glasses. Nothing. We sat there and waited, waited and waited. Our table was next to the computer were they put in the orders so there was a waiter/ress every 30 seconds standing next to ous. After 25 minutes, we got up put on our jackets and walked out across the street to the always friendly Yeard House. No wonder they had 1hr wait while there were plenty of empty tables at 5 Napkins. Can’t say anything about the food because I didnt get to order anything. But based on the terrible service, I will never set foot there again. My money is hard earned and will only go where my business is appreciated.

Didn’t realize until recently how 5 Napkin Burgers are a pretty solid choice when you want a good burger. Their classic burger is great but I also really like the Korean bbq burger. One caveat though, we’ve only had their food to go so my rating is solely on the burgers and has nothing to do with the dining experience there.

I didn’t have the greatest time here. The atmosphere is amazing, and it is definitely visually appealing. But the food wasn’t good, it was very dry and didnt have that much flavor. I’ll prolly give them another shot one day b/c I think other people enjoy the restaurant, but my experience there wasn’t that great.

I must say the food was pretty good knowing this place is known for their burger I wound up getting everything but the burger. Lol. We started off with their buffalo wings very tasty my wife ordered the chicken and waffles with their signature bourbon syrup we weren’t to fond of that particular syrup so they brought out regular syrup and I must say wow I’m not a waffle type guy but after trying that I am a believer… So good how it complements the chicken I also ordered the sweet potato fries as well as cheddar cheese potato tots… whoa!!! Mind blowing so good! And to end it all off some jerk ribs that’s right you heard me right Jamaican jerk ribs… Omg!!! Forget the burgers you have to try this… Waitress very attentive… Ambience was very chill…

Went in with a party of 5. I went with a group of great friends so the vibes is always good. The place was pretty empty, no wait time, service was fast and detailed. Our waiter shashayed fabulously everytime he came to our table, always checking on us and friendly too. Hubby had their fish n chips, their non-meat options are quite limited. He likes it but not the sauce that came on the side. He finds the sauce«weird». Lol! Me and my friend had the avacado ranch burger, medium and it came out perfect! Love it! Portions are big too. We ended up bringing our leftover home. My sis had the lamb burger which was quite bland but she make do with sauces, salt, pepper, tobasco to give it flavor. My best friend had the napkin bacon cheese burger and she didnt have any complains. The only complains we had was the drinks. They put so much ice in ur drink, that we keep having to re order because its just full of ice. Everything else was great! Definitely would come back!

I heard amazing things about 5 napkin from my friends in the city so I was excited to see there was one here in Yonkers! I came with my wife to check out the scene. Well, We were not disappointed. We started with the wings and they were so great!(I frequent Buffalo Wild Wings and 5 Napkins meaty wings put them to shame!) the sauce was rich and had a nice kick! We then both had the original 5 napkin burger. It came out cooked to a perfect medium and the aioli was a nice compliment to the gooey cheese. People often underestimate the importance of a good bun but 5 napkin hit the nail on the head. We were in burger heaven! I talked to the manager(I think his name was james) after my meal and he mentioned that it had only been open since July. I can’t wait to come back and try everything on the menu(literally everything… don’t think I won’t)

I’m shocked by all the negative reviews. I just left here and would definitely go back. I’m probably the only loser to go to a burger joint and order a salad but the Texican salad is huge, fresh and the shrimp were nicely grilled. My husbands lamb burger was way better than the one at Yard House and he loved it. The calamari was well seasoned… We even ate the crumbs. And Wade was a peach, attentive, honest and quick with his service. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

I can’t review the food at 5 Napkin Burger because I didn’t eat any of it. My husband and I were seated immediately because there were many many empty tables. The hostess gave us menus and that’s where the service ended. We looked over the menus, discussed, and decided what we wanted. No one came over to introduce themselves, no one came over to say«give me a minute I’ll be right with you», no one took drink orders. Nothing. We sat there watching about 3 waiters/waitresses/workers pass us and not say a word, nor look at us. We gave it a full 10 minutes, and we left. I kindly told the hostess what happened and she apologized.(It’s not her fault.) For us, it was a zero napkin experience because we didn’t eat.(Pun inserted here.)

Where do I begin? Service was extremely slow. We ordered two apps, only one came out. My husband ate, only when he was done did the waiter notice(we had to tell him) I never got mine. My husbands beer was not properly chilled. We waited even longer for our food.(Which we ordered drinks, apps and food all in one shot, we looked at the menu while waiting) once the food was at our table, I was missing my side dish I ordered. This is not one they came with the meal but one I ordered in addition to. Once I was half way done with my food the waiter came and asked how everything was and I had to advise him yet again, I didn’t get my item. My husband ordered the steak fritters medium, and that came out medium well(more on the well side) and it was very bland with no seasonings, and not worth $ 22! Meals are Very overpriced for what you get. We ordered: 1 beer 1 soda Calamari Bread & butter pickles Petite steak fritters Chicken & waffles $ 71 was our total. Sorry not worth it. Could’ve had a better meal at the capital grille for $ 30 More. We were in the area and thought we’d try something new.

WORSTSERVICEEVER!!! It started off with no place settings nor any condiments on the table, even after being served our food… After approximately 10 minutes of trying to get the attention of our waitress, whose head was buried in her phone behind the computer, we finally got the attention of the hostess, to ask him for some napkins and place settings. Our waitress never came back to check up on us to see how the food was or if we needed any other drinks. Mind you it wasn’t busy whatsoever!!! After eating our burgers, which weren’t the best for the price you are paying for them, we waited 20 minutes for the check. Conveniently after receiving the check, there was no one around to talk to in regards to the lack of service in this horrific establishment. NEVERWILL I COMEHEREAGAINNORRECOMMENDTHISPLACETOANYBODY!!!

I ignored all the bad reviews I read and said to myself and family. «Let’s give them a chance, some folks just have individual bad experiences« I was wrong. I should have heeded the warning As someone reviewed, most of the food had no seasoning, I continually had to dump salt onto the calamari and the order of guacamole and chips. But, the pesto flat bread was EXCELLENT. I ordered chicken and waffles and the chicken was fried to PERFECTION, with no salt. The waffle was very TASTY, but the waitress failed to forewarn me that the standard syrup is bourbon maple, what a horrifying taste, but she never mentioned I could have substituted for regular. My wife ordered the lamb burger, which I cook at home a lot and we have ordered it at other establishments, not worth the $ 16, no flavor, she was so disappointed she never even tried the fries. My daughter ordered the tacos and was PLEASED, small miracles do happen. I would have felt ok about it all, if it had not been for the poorly trained waitstaff and cook. She constantly had to be summoned, what’s scary is the place was relatively empty. The food was placed to each of wrongly and she had to be guided, without a smile, and we noticed the same mistake at two other adjacent tables. The initial appetizers were for the wrong table, again with no apology or smile, after all this the manager finally shows up loudly speaking to us and was clearly defensive from what appeared to be his umpteenth time in this situation.

The food was ok. The prices I feel were pretty high considering what the place is-or purports itself to be-a burger place. I wouldn’t come back due to the pricing here. The menu seems to be all over the place-thought you guys did burgers? Lots of different options and a bit confusing considering the BURGER in the title. Food was ok. Service was good. The prices were off putting-we got burgers. Thought almost a hundred dollars for a few cocktails and 2 burgers was a bit high. Maybe it’s just me.

My boyfriend speaks highly about this place cuz he went to one in the city. Went here for the first time and was so disappointed. Our server threw the napkins on the table. There were no silverware and is ng that attentive considering it’s not busy. Worst is, the food didn’t taste that great. I ordered a ahi tuna burger, it was so dry and bland. Will def not going back. Probably the one in the city is better.

I’ve read that 5 Napkin was one of the best burger places in NY and didn’t realize that there was one near my home in Yonkers. My sister and I decided to try it. We were not impressed. We arrived and were promptly seated as the restaurant was pretty empty. Our waiter was very nice and attentive, he came over and asked our drink orders and made some recommendations of his favorite burgers there. One thing I did notice is that for it to be a burger spot they have a very limited selection of burgers. I think they only have about 5 or 6 different burgers. Anyhow…I ordered the Avocado and Ranch burger with the BBQ fries and my sister ordered the Beef and Lamb burger with onion rings. There is a small extra charge for both the bbq fries and onion rings(I think it’s 25 cents for the fries and a dollar for the rings). The waiter stressed how everything is cooked to order so we were looking for a steaming hot plate of food. When our burgers arrived, my sister’s onion rings were cold so she had to send them back and her burger was overcooked to the point that it was dry. My food was hot and the burger was ok with the guacamole and ranch sauce, although the guac could have had a little more seasoning to it. My fries were good BUT as I made my way into the bowl that they came in the fries got smaller and smaller(think about what’s at the bottom of a potato chip bag). We were both expecting these big juicy burgers that we would need at least 5 napkins to keep wiping our mouths and what we got was just an ordinary burger and definitely not worth the price.

Went here for a quick bite with my boyfriend. First time experience at 5napkin. Service: great staff! Making sure your happy with your meal and keeps checking in(in other words i don’t need to flag down my waiter/waitress down for assistance) Food: the calamari was tasty we really enjoyed that! Also, comes with homemade pickled jalapeño(sliced) peppers. I ordered turkey burger … It was okay. think it needed some more seasoning but i guess it depends on your palate. Overall, this was my first time experience eating here i would like to give 5napkin a second chance.

How is it that your signature burger – which your restaurant is named after – is so terrible? Eating the 5 napkin burger is like chewing on a rosemary branch covered in aioli. I don’t get the appeal of it. Mouthful after mouthful of rosemary aioli. The onions and cheese impossible to taste under all that aioli. The burger patty lacked seasoning, and is ridiculously huge. In spite of all the aioli, I had to season the burger with salt and pepper. I did not like it at all. But, that mistake of a burger aside, everything else we had was delicious. My wife’s turkey sliders were fantastic. I was jealous of her delicious turkey burgers while I had to slog through my rosemary aioli burger. My daughter’s hand breaded chicken fingers were some of the best I’ve ever had. I’m willing to bet the other burger options are good and likely a lot better than the 5 napkin burger. I’m going to be generous and give them 4 stars on the basis that everything is fresh, the menu creative, and(most) everything is delicious. But by all means, skip the aioli burger.

Went to 5 napkin this weekend with my friend and had a great experience, not sure where the negative reviews are coming from. Maybe just growing pains of the first week of business? I’ve been to the upper west side and south beach locations and the food has been consistent throughout. We started with the potato skins, which were delish. I’m a sucker for anything with pimento cheese and the bacon was that heavenly thick cut style. I ordered the Mr. Pepino drink which had cucumber and mint and was so refreshing on such a hot day. My friend had the original burger and I had the veggie. I’m not a vegeterian, but I’m OBSESSED with their veggie burger. Hands down the best one I’ve ever eaten. Whatever the special sauce they put on it is like crack, so good. Tried my friends burger and thought it was a great mix between sweet from the caramelized onions and savory from the gruyère cheese. We ended with a s’mores milkshake. I’ll never want to have a milkshake anywhere else. They put a giant toasted marshmallow on top, yummy! We thought the hostess was pleasant and our waitress was really friendly. She was the one who gave us the recommendation for s’mores milkshake, which I’m forever grateful for because I will get it everytime now! She also told us they have a happy hour with $ 2 sliders, so I’ll be back soon for some HH action! Oh and the restaurant décor is gorgeous, a little different then the other locations I’ve been too.
