I’ve had very mixed feelings about Texas Roadhouse but my son loves it. Tonight was not a good night for them. Arrived at 7:15pm on a Monday night. Seated quickly but at a booth that was still wet. Ordered 2 steak entrees & a kid’s meal. Food took at least 35 minutes to come out. That’s too long! Ran out of drink & wasn’t offered a refill. Kids asked about the Monday kids free sundae & the server said she’d bring it to them at the end. However, at the end she brought them both bowls of vanilla ice cream, dropped the check and took off. Kids didn’t know where/how to get sundae toppings. After about 10 minutes, server returned for $ & I pointed out that she had charged me for the kid’s drink. That took an additional 23 minutes to get corrected! Now ice cream is melted & kids are tired. Every dirty dish, including bread baskets, were still on our table. No effort was made to pre-bus the table. Even when I started neatly piling it up on the end of our table so that the server could easily reach it — nothing was touched. She had to reach over the pile to give me the check. Ironically, as we were getting up to leave, the server decided to remove one of the piles of dirty dishes. Lastly, there was some server drama going on… 2 servers were talking about what a $hitty server another girl was… This discussion was lengthy & loud enough to overhear. So…why the 1 star? The food was good. Kitchen needs to turn food out faster but the quality once received was good. Sadly, food wasn’t good enough for me to return for quite a while.

I must say we have been here numerous times and I have raved just as many. The Ft Worth ribeye is always so delectable and only once have I received it incorrectly. My favorite temp is MR and I always get it that way. Not one bit of trouble bringing it to the attention of the manager, as he was floating thru the place. Their baked tots are also exceptional. One of my pet peeves is their salads. I want my salads fresh so I opt for the Caesar. Not my favorite dressing but it’s not bad. Most times it’s more meal than I can eat so I bring leftovers home. My biggest complaint is the noise. It’s worse than a convention center plus they have CW music sometimes blaring. You cannot hear yourself think much less converse with your companions. It’s enough to curb your enthusiasm of going too frequently.

Very slow service. We had«call ahead» seating and still waited over 45 mins. Server screwed the drink order up several times. 35 mins to get our food after ordering it.

We waited about 20 minutes but were given a buzzer that rang when our table was ready. The server checked on us often. It is noisy, especially when they are dancing so it’s not a great place to catch up with friends. I’m a vegetarian that loves steakhouses because of the rolls and baked potatoes. The loaded potato was perfect. My friend ordered the chicken fried sirloin but did not enjoy it. Her sweet potato also was not fresh. I have had better food here in the past.

Went on a Wednesday night, which is their sirloin special night, so it was a little busy. However, we got a table in less time than the host quoted. Bread and cinnamon butter were awesome. Steaks were cooked to the right temp, sweet potatoes were delicious, and house salad was a good size. No complaints and service was great. Will definitely be back.

Menu/Food: Great! Service/Staff: Great! Atmosphere: Meh… Not a big fan of having to semi-yell to someone sitting 3 feet away from me on the other side of the table just to have a conversation. The sound system blaring«country funk» combined with everyone else having to yell in order to carry on a conversation brings the ambient noise level to about a 9 out of 10. Obviously, judging from my rating, I think the food and staff outweigh the need for earplugs while eating dinner.

Awful. I ate here a few years ago and would have rated it much higher that visit(pre-Yelp), but this last time, we waited for almost an hour and the portions have shrunk noticeably and what we got made me ill. I’m very cautious about saying something like that because there are so many variables… Maybe I was already sick? Maybe it was something I ate that morning? Maybe it was something I touched before I went in? Anyway, I’m not loose with throwing that accusation around. It didn’t make me miss work or anything, but something wasn’t right at all. After the meal«passed through my system» I was fine. But about an hour after I ate through to the next morning when I evacuated it, it felt like my insides had led a revolt against me and attempted to escape. One may have, my spleen is unaccounted for to this day. Anyway, I tell you this as a warning, maybe I’m wrong and it wasn’t this place that caused it at all, the question is… You feeling lucky?

Once again amazing! Had a wonderful server Heather! Delicious as always! We used call ahead seating, something everyone should use. Everyone is super friendly and happy to serve you. I love this Texas Roadhouse!

Delicious food, but they forgot two of our sides so they came at the end of our meal. I thought we were supposed to get peanuts? some tables had it, some didn’t. Otherwise liked the atmosphere for our group of 6 and toddler — it was packed for Sunday night football — wait staff was great. Parking is terrible! Took me 10 – 15 minutes to circle lot with no overflow parking nearby(all hotels with tow signs) — they need to figure that out.

Great steak, awesome butter for the rolls and the rattlesnake bites were spicey enough to warrant another beer Jamal was a great server who felt like an old friend Highly recommend this place

Texas Roadhouse is the poor man’s Outback Steakhouse. I prefer Longhorn Steakhouse to both chain beeferies. I visited for the first time in years with my 10 year old daughter and my dad. The hostess and our server were exceptionally nice, almost annoyingly so. Think the«pieces of flare» guy from Office Space. To be fair, one of my pet peeves is mindless small talk. «It’s almost Friday! Weather’s great! It was a long day at the office!» Blah, blah, blah. Nevertheless, the hostess showed us to our table after a 15 — 20 minute wait on a Wednesday night. I asked the server about drink specials, I missed happy hour, and she tried to sell me on their newest draft — Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest. It’s August so I didn’t find that particularly appealing, but the only other beers Texas Roadhouse offered were BudMillerCoors name brands. I’m not a beer snob, but these days you have to offer something besides Piss Lite. Would it kill them to add a local beer to their lineup? If they need further proof of the market demand, a new restaurant just opened down the street that offers 10 of their OWN beers on tap. What would pair well with my top-early Oktoberfest? I picked the chicken fried steak, green beans and loaded mashed potatoes. Can’t go wrong there. The steak tastes fine, but my green beans tasted like they’d been simmering in a pot all day. I need to remember to start asking if they’re «fresh» green beans before I order. The loaded mashed potatoes were funky. I think I accidentally ordered loaded sour cream because they forgot to add the potato. Our wonderful server kept the bread and addictive cinnamon-sugar butter flowing. You could tell she knew how to increase her tips because she brought out hot, fresh bread without anyone having to ask. How many times do you go to a restaurant and have to wait around for a drink refill or new basket of chips? Our server was on top of it without seeming like she was constantly at the table. So the food was OK and the service was perfect. My biggest issue, other than the crap beer menu, was how noisy the restaurant was. They were busy and we were seated near other parties, but I struggled to hear the server, the hostess, even my own daughter sitting next to me(not necessarily a bad thing LOL). I don’t know what can be done about the acoustics in the building at this point, but I’d hate to take a date somewhere so loud… unless… never mind.

Peanuts are a plus to snack on! Bread was awesome. loved the cinnamon butter … It is hit or miss with wait times … I always call ahead and have had pretty good luck with that . One of my favorite meals here is the –Road Kill.

Location: 109 Cybernetics Way Yorktown, VA23693 When I went to Texas Roadhouse, I was ready to have some drinks and some great food. I was really craving some of their special rolls with cinnamon butter. When we arrived we saw that there was a fireman in full attire entering the restaurant at the same time we were. This made us wonder what was going on inside that a fireman was needed. When we got inside, we didn’t see any signs of distress in the dining area or kitchen, so we didn’t think there was cause for alarm. We were then seated and continued having a good time. Our waitress was very kind and attentive but then we got the notice that they were going to have to close the restaurant down and evacuate everyone. This really put a damper on our night since we were really craving the food. We then talked to the manager and we were given a coupon for our next meal, of course to bring us back. The manager explained that one of the ovens was smoking earlier and that they didn’t know that the fire department was alerted. They were as surprised as we were that they had to shut down for the night. Even though they had to shut the restaurant down, I liked that they handled everything so professionally instead of just kicking everyone out. In addition to talking with customers, they also covered the food costs for tables if they had not paid. Tables did have to pay for any alcohol they consumed. At the end of the night, we were disappointed but felt taken care of. In fact, we will be going back for another great experience and hopefully with food.

I came here for drinks but ended up getting the cheese fries. They are delicious but not out of this world. The drinks made up for it though. It was really crowded but the waitress still came and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I live across the water so Im not Sure If I will come back but if you live on that side, check it Out.

We have always had good service at this location. Come on in before 6pm and get those discounted dinner prices! Kids night is Monday. The last time they had a ballon guy(be sure to bring cash to tip him). The rolls and the delicious Cesar salad is what keeps us coming back.

Kasey our waitress was awesome … after a long day …6 of us decided to grab an early dinner before heading back to Maryland. …we all felt like having a nice big steak we got there at 4pm and immediately were seated(just FYI get there early this place gets packed) … but before that we came up to a butcher style refrigerator were you can actually pick the exact steak that you wanted to grill they put a sticker on iand when your waitress come around you give her the ticket … so that what I did best flavored steak ever the bread that they serve to you is absolutely a god sent gift sweet warm rolls with a hint of cinnamon their loaded mash patatoes were off the chart if you have a chance you have to try and you’ll fall in love like I did !

Lets start off by saying this place is always welcoming. You walk in and someone is already asking how many and how your day was. Everyone there is so nice. Makes dining there even better. The bread is whatever but the butter! The butter is great. I’ve seen people put their butter on the steak :) I always get the ribeye rare or medium rare. Generally the steak is cooked the way I asked and given the plate if it’s hot can cook it as well :) so I don’t really complain it’s good either way. I generally order the onion for the appetizer. I will say the seasoning isn’t as great as out backs bloomin onion but it’s ok I take home the leftovers and pop it in the oven again. I would call ahead. Never know when it make randomly get backed up.

I’m not the biggest fan of Texas Roadhouse, but came here with a group so I said I would give it another chance. The hot, buttery rolls are always consistent. They are awesome with the cinnamon butter that they provide along with them. The garden salad was good as well. One of the few places that adds cheddar cheese and egg to the garden salads. The service was good by our waitress. She was very kind. However, the male waiter that brought out salads out has a bit to learn about good customer service. As he placed my salad down, I told him that I had asked for onions on my salad and asked him if he could bring them to me. His response was«um…ok». So then I became confused. Maybe I had asked a stupid question or something. Well minutes went by and he never came. Our waitress finally came back and I asked her for the side of onions and she brought them promptly. So as our food was coming out, my group and I noticed a waitress come and sit in a booth beside us, next to a man and a women already seated. The next thing we know about 5 other waitress come over and begin to look inside of a pet carrier that the seated woman has in the booth with her. The seated waitress holds the carrier up on her lap and begins to pucker up and make kissing sounds to whatever is inside. My group and I were beyond astonished. We were all wondering what could be inside, but at the same time wondering why a pet carrier is inside of a restaurant. Our waitress comes back to the table and we ask what’s inside that carrier, and she excitingly responds by saying«a monkey!!» Our reply, «A MONKEY???». Yes, my fellow Unilocalers, a monkey was inside of a pet carrier, in a restaurant, in a booth next to us. In what restaurant is it OK to bring a monkey inside? The booth wasn’t even properly wiped down when they left. I’m sorry, but that is unsanitary and completely unprofessional for all employees to come huddle around and think that it was ok. We were going to speak to a manager before we left, but what was the point? The food is over priced and not as good as some other nearby restaurants, so we will take our business elsewhere.

Yummy in my tummy!!! The endless, soft, buttery rolls with honey butter makes you full before your meal comes! I love the seasoned rice, stewed chicken, broccoli, and even the garden salad is delicious! I’m not a peanut lover at all, so I can go with those and the messy shell casings all over the floor. The service is usually great and there’s almost always a little wait to be seated.

Love this place! The steak is delicious and the wait staff is out of this world! Cannot decide who is the best waitress… The last couple of ones, Olivia and Lauren make me want to go every night if my budget would allow me too. I usually have the loaded sweet potato with marshmallows. Feels like dessert with my dinner. And the dinner rolls are like pillows of fantastic goodness. The place was packed but the food came in a timely manner and the was hot. Waiting for half an hour was tearing on our patience.
