Everyone who works here is so nice!!! I really appreciate it. They are genuinely kind. The food is great. Thanks Beezy’s!

This is where I take out of town people if we’re going to go out for the day and we need to fuel up. I also love going on a slower weekday with my kid and working on his homeschool stuff for a bit while I sip my tea. We like almost everything on the breakfast menu. I really enjoy their soups as it is a rare treat for me to eat soup out; I am very sensitive to msg and rarely trust places to make their own broth/stock. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed, though the place is fairly slammed and, therefore, the wait can be long on the weekends. C’est la vie!

I’ve been here a few times. You need to go with friends if you want to eat at this place so you can share all kinds of dishes. The dishes range from smaller plates(beginning of menu) to bigger ones(at the end of the menu). The omelets are yummy, so is the Pancakes. All the stuff was fresh and loved the chicken and wild rice soup

I tried this place on a whim, and I’m glad I did. It’s a little off the beaten path in Ypsi, in a slightly desolate part of town(I ate breakfast staring at the front of a strip club), but the inside is nicely done up as a American café. Seating is limited, and you walk up to order and pick up your food. I ordered the breakfast burrito(scrambled egg, chorizo, cheddar in a tortilla, grilled panini style), a side of sausage links(from Detroit Sausage, yum), and it came with homestyle potatoes and a slice of canteloupe. It was not large, but it was good! The potatoes were pan fried deliciousness, the sausage was fantastic. The breakfast burrito was good, though I’ll try something else next time. And the coffee! They serve Intelligentsia Coffee. So, so good. I will definitely be going back!

We came in for the first Friday meal. By accident. I didn’t know this was a thing but lots of businesses had specials for first Friday of the month. It was a clean little hip place & service was friendly. The waiter was fairly attentive. So they had a buffet styled option: salad, Mac and cheese & cookies for us to have. The price was reasonable too. I paid $ 13.90 for the two of us. It was OK& filled our stomach prior to our flight but nothing special. Yes, I realised we had the simplest of all simple meals, and it is hard to go wrong with cheese you dishes. I won’t be driving all the way here just to eat though. there are other places to try. But if you want a fuss free meal that is cheap & filling. This place would be just fine for that.

I went for brunch with my friend this morning and was incredibly pleasantly surprised. The menu doesn’t have a lot of flavors but they truly invest in very fresh quality ingredients. I got the BLT which had some of the best tomatoes I’ve had in years and a half order of french toast. My friend got the eggel with avocado which was a great texture of bagel with perfectly cooked scrambled egg. There was no wait, quick turn around time and all around a fantastic brunch experience.

So cute. So tasty. Everyone was so dang friendly. I’m new to Ypsi and I’m so very glad that a place like this is in my hometown. I had the tempeh scramble and a side of French toast. Both amazing. My man had the full French toast with sausage. Yum. It was a dreary slushy Tuesday but being in there with all the locals and regulars, the good music, the tasty food and yummy smells was so delightful. Looking forward to making Beezy’s a habit.

Finally made it in here. Nice place, I got a lot of food with my French toast order. This is a serve yourself kinda place, but the staff was awesome. I will be returning very soon

Had an excellent breakfast here recently. I got the Breakfast Plate which included scrambled eggs, crispy potatoes, choice of meat(I got bacon), & choice of toast(raisin). I thought everything was very well prepared and tasty! I’m not sure about others complaints about portion size as I thought there was plenty of food(and I’m a big guy at 6’5″ 270#). There was one particular seasoning in the potatoes that wasn’t to my taste but that didn’t keep me from eating all of it! Waiting time for food prep was about 5 – 10 minutes, so not long. Very casual atmosphere, which I liked and everyone there was very nice and friendly. I can see what all the fuss was about. I’d like to come back and try lunch but breakfast was awesome!

Wish I could have brought Beezy’s with me when I left Michigan. As before, «simple, honest food» really nails it: scrambled eggs, home fries, toast(of the French persuasion or otherwise), breakfast burrito, soups, etc: all house-made, no-frills deliciousness. Also on(most) Saturdays: buttery, melt-in-your-mouth, fluffiest biscuits you’ll find anywhere, smothered in sausage gravy; so irresistibly good even a health nut like myself couldn’t help but indulge every so often. Baked French toast seemed to have gone on a looong vacation; a pity, since I had hoped to savor this decadent treat once last time before moving away. Plan to arrive early to avoid the long, slow lines of weekend brunch. If you go during busy hours, bring some patience and an openness to chat/interact with fellow patrons, and your belly and taste buds shall be rewarded.

Food is great. Totally hipster & green. I always get their high quality H2O :) j/k. Brunch is good here. This place remains pretty packed during weekends. So ready for some 10 – 15 mins wait. I believe the food is a bit expensive compared to the quantity.

I think this place is more expensive than it needs to be, but it’s good so they get away with it. The French toast is bomb! The burrito is quality. The home style fries are usually good, but they can also taste like pure cumin. Coffee milk is a winner! A little hip for me, so the lines, especially for brunch, are silly long. And the counter people take it fairly easy, but that’s just part of the experience. It’s always nice when you get to order.

One of my favorite breakfast and lunch destinations. Unpretentious, simple, honest food, served with love. Big fan of the sandwiches, and love the Beezy’s mocha. Oh! And the soups are amazing. Parking is easy, and service is usually pretty quick.

I was in the mood was some warm cooked breakfast. What I got was warm service, but burnt food. I came to Beezy’s hearing it was the go to spot in Ypsi for some breakfast. It’s a self seat establishment, where you get your own utensils and bus your own plates. That’s fine. I have no problem with an old school style establishment like that. The staff were really nice and friendly. They checked in to see how everything was and were quite hospitable. I can’t give the place a good review on the staff alone. I ordered the breakfast burrito, which comes with home fries. The burrito was pretty burnt on one side. And as you can imagine, the home fries were badly burnt as well. Maybe it was a one time thing. Maybe that doesn’t happen usually. I just know when I came in, the food left a bad taste in my mouth. Literally… It was burnt. Shame too. The staff were very nice.

Stopped by with a friend before heading out to do my Sunday errands to grab some breakfast… I heard so many good things about here, had to bookmark it and stop by to see what was going on in Ypsi. First of all — two thumbs for Beezy’s and other places in downtown Ypsi for increasing the foot traffic to the area. We got here around 10:50am and even though they’ve been only open for 50 minutes, this place was jammed packed… the line wasn’t long when we got there, but within five minutes, the line. yeah, it was long! Ops details later… but I went with their special Banana Cream French Toast with side of homefries and a coffee, while my friend went with the breakfast plate with homefries… — Special French Toast — I ordered it with sourdough bread, it came topped with sliced banana’s, whip cream and crunchy stuff that was sprinkled on top… As for the taste, it was okay… I don’t think I would order the special or the french toast again next time… something was off… it was very bland; to be honest iHop’s french toast tasted better. Maybe it’s because my plate didn’t come with maple syrup? I saw that all other french toast were served with maple syrup… could this has caused the taste to be off? The harmonious make-up of yin and yang was absent from this dish… maybe, the maple syrup would have solved the imbalance? — Homefries — yes, they are homefries… ketchup and hot sauce helped… Next time I go, I would order their Tempeh Hash & Eggs, it looked good, but without trying it first, I can’t say much. Why only 3 stars? Where to being… Taste — decent… nothing screamed at me or in my head that declared the food to be great… like i said for my french toast, maybe if I had maple syrup, it would have helped… Coffee — I think they use«intelligentsia» brand for the coffee, not sure… but coffee was on bar with typical diner coffee offerings… maybe my coffee taste buds are screwed up… who knows… Ordering — there were three people in front of me… they all wanted to sample a drink, so each person took like 8 minutes to order their food… the one cashier was handling the register, the orders, making the drinks, etc. This was an experience I hope I don’t have to repeat… got in line at 10:50am, ordered at 11:15 am, got our food at 11:40am, done eating by 11:55am. As some others have stated, long line — leave… have a lot of patience, especially if you come here when it’s busy. It’s self serve… you order, grab your utensils, napkins, ketchup, etc and go find a table… more seating building over… when they yell your name, go get your food, then eat and then put the dirty dishes away… I like the concept… but I’ll avoid this place on a Sunday for sure… I’ll give Beezy’s a benefit of doubt and go back and try other offerings… I can’t let one experience ruin it… Until I revisit, I hope we can get our yin/yang to match…

The breakfast is excellent — go for the pineapple jam! The restaurant is cute, not too packed on weekdays. Most importantly, the food is very affordable. Average breakfast meal was about $ 6 — 8. They had a long list of deli sandwiches and soups/salads so I’ll be going back for lunch. Customer service was great. The guy who took my order was super friendly and relatable.

It’s been a LONG time since I’ve been back to Beezy’s and I’m proud to report the food is still delicious! I ordered the Tempeh Hash with scrambled eggs and sourdough toast– all for about $ 8. It perfectly hit the spot. The bread is made in house and you can taste the difference. Qualms keeping this from a 5 star review — our table was not cleaned, my friend put her arm in some substance when she put her arm on the table. I also am not a fan of my name being yelled out to come get food. They need to give each table a marker and have someone run the food out — it’s too small to have someone yelling names out.

Food is fresh and delicious– I’m very picky about my salads and these were well made. Service is great and very personable. Biggest downside of Beezys is the wait. Takes forever to order and awhile to get your food. The service makes up for it but do not come here if you are in a hurry! Their take out is easy tho!

Downtown Ypsi reminds me of that town that the Governor took over in The Walking Dead… The brick buildings, empty stores, and too-wide sidewalks indicate a prime place to hole up for a zombie apocalypse. ANYways. Across from a charming strip club lies Beezy’s: a wonderful place to grab breakfast/Brunch? Lunch. The line on a Sunday morning was like a thirty minute wait, but we came with good friends so the time passed quickly. Everyone working at this establishment was SUPER friendly and seemed to be loving life. I even heard one employee exclaim«I am having such a great day right now!» I was ravenous, so I ordered a bunch of things. 1. Eggel w/avocado and turkey 2. Egg n pepper sandwich 3. French toast 4. Chai slurpee thingy It was all so good! The potatoes that came with most plates were heavenly. This place sure knows how to scramble some eggs! French toast lives up to its hype: be sure to get it on sourdough! The Chai drink also hit the spot, as it was not too sweet but went down smoooooooth. All in all, all the ingredients they use are fresh and tasty, and you can tell that they take pride in what they do, and they do it well. A real diamond in the rough.

Well!!! The hype !! Long line at the door! Coffee mugs for the people who are waiting!!! Very Friendly people!!! Moderate atmosphere!!! But the food!!! Very average! Higher prices! Smaller portions! The fact that they don’t have omelets or pancakes makes me think they don’t cook a lot of thing in the shop! Mostly premade! I got the temper eggs and potato! The scrambled eggs were bland! And the potatoes had a very average taste! They were not crispy enough for me! And we got Mediterranean veggie and avocado veggie sandwich, again nothing too special. You don’t get any sides for the price it should have had some potatoes or something. House Coffee was bold/dark roast. The only option! It is a decent option if you are in the neighborhood and need breakfast! Not some thing which I will drive for!
