Excellent people in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is clean and simple and is priced fairly. I like the pictures of the community hanging all the way around the dining area, too. If you want a quick bite in the AM, you can’t beat Sun’s.

The man and woman behind the counter, who I believe to be the owners, were very inviting. They asked if it was our first time and were thankful for our patronage. We talked about the city and the concert I had just seen. It turns out that they were from the same area that I currently live in. The food was very nice. I had the Philly and my friend had the french toast, only $ 14! If I’m ever in this barren neighborhood again, I will definitely be back. Thank You!

Upon entering, we were greeted with a warm smile by the employees and immediately ordered food, and it was amazing! It was very delicious and honestly worth the amount it is priced for. We normally have to drive out all the way to Sacramento in order to eat Korean food, but we’re glad that they serve some at this restaurant! Hopefully they add more Korean plates onto their menus. This is an amazing place to eat and I encourage everyone to try it!

Understand that this is a very limited review. I was totally impressed with the extent of vegetarian items on the menu and the graciousness of the chef and server. But I only had one dish — the Veggie Bi Bim Bap. I just can’t say how much I enjoyed its freshness and the variety of delicious ingredients. So, based on one dish (and the rest of the comments), high marks.

this is long overdue as sun’s café is, hands down, my bf & i’s favorite place to come eat, and we make a point to visit here at least once a week. you can’t find a better philly cheese steak in town! seriously the best and their breakfast is just as good! (but their philly is out of this world) theres not a single bad thing i have to say about this place, everything about the food, the atmosphere, and the customer service is great
we also love the owners. they’re great people to chat with, we come in so often they honestly just feel like friends to us by now =) if they see this: we’ll have 2 phillies with curly fries pls! you know who i am! xoxo

After 6 months living here, we are still finding new places to eat, and now we are sad we didn’t find this place sooner!!! We came for breakfast on a chilly rainy morning and walked in the the most amazing aroma and friendly greeting from Sue! Fresh hot coffee was made for us and I ordered the pancakes and eggs and Sam got the spicy noodles with egg. My pancakes were so light and fluffy and delicious and my eggs were perfectly cooked. Sam’s noodles were spicy and full of veggies and an egg. Neither plate of food lasted very long! We haven’t had this good of breakfast in a long time!!! Can’t wait to come back again!!!

This is my favorite place in Yuba City hands down. I always get either the BLTA or BBQ Korean short ribs. So good. And the owners (who also work there) are so nice and they remember you if you go more than once. Small place, great food!

Husband had the beef bolgolgi and was pleased with the taste. I had the bibimbap that had a nice variety of vegetables. The service was great. The waitress was very welcoming. It’s a charmy place.

Stopped in after a flying lesson out by Yuba, heard it was a pretty good place.
Sun is super friendly and attentive, as the only acting waitress in the restaurant while her husband cooks, she definitely made my trip here! The food is decent, and the prices are great for what you get! Super small, and homey. The menu offers traditional Japanese, and American breakfast foods. Definitely worth a try

First time visiting Sun’s Café, and we will be back. Affordable, delicious, and very friendly. The owners work so hard! Had the Gyoza, breakfast burrito and french toast, with hubby, and all was great!

This small back street (American/​Asian cuisine) café deserves enormous success. The owner/​operator couple are genuinely friendly and take care to meet your every need, and to give you the tastiest, best value meal in the area. I just wish they were open an hour longer each day so we could enjoy a late lunch with them, as well as our daily late breakfast.
In this country, many servers expect great tips of 15% — 25%, and do no more than take and deliver your order in an endeavour to get them. At best they make sure you get the items you ordered, but take no care to ensure you get them the way you wanted them.
They would do well to take note of the experience the Sun Café offers their guests; not only is the order ‘spot on’, but so too is it the way your wanted it. And their natural warmth makes a cold morning a delight.

Came here for breakfast, and man… I wanted to try every dish they had on the menu. And Im content with the food I ordered, «the Spicy Pork w/​rice». Wished it was spicy though… The name fooled me. But overall. Thank god for Sriracha Sauce.
Will definitely come here more often. Well not too often, only when Im lazy to prepare my own breakfast meal, then I will definitely come here as my first choice. Food are prepared like homemade. I love it.
And the server is quite attentive when meeting my needs. Loves it!

What have I been missing? I’ve lived in the area for many years, and I’ve never heard of this place until Unilocal.Nonetheless, I’m a fan because of great service and food. I don’t know how long this establishment has been around, but it’s a quaint little café.
Too bad they aren’t open in the evening for dinner because I wouldn’t be able to try their food, except on Saturdays because of my work schedule. Fortunately, I had a day off from work when I first ventured into this little place.
