What a great café. Healthy choices of salads and sandwiches. We love the coffee and tea selection. The strawberry field forever salad is a must try. The smoothies are wonderful. Service is friendly and welcoming. Great of Yucaipa to have a place like this. You would think you are at a beach community because of the wide selection of healthy options. Thank you Yucaipa.

I just stopped in to Queen bean for the first time for an Americano. After checking out the menu I decided to eat breakfast here too. I just devoured a Delicious egg(and pesto mozzarella tomato on flax seed bread) breakfast sandwich! My Americano(espresso) was also great, and met my expectations. I’ll be back.

Great service and the food is outstanding. I always order the TBC because chipotle… Coffee drinks are really good and the salads look pretty good too. I’m not in Yucaipa often but when I do it’s a hard choice between Queen Bean and Angus McCurdy’s. When it’s Sunday it’s always Queen Bean ;0)

This isn’t a first encounter, and after today’s visit, it verifies the maturity and professionalism of Queen Beans employees is only going to continue to wither. Unless improvements are made. I’ll keep it simple: customer gossip/complaints should be kept to management and themselves, not in plain view when I read there lips. 2nd when mistakes are made, an apology is appreciated.

Seriously, this place is a gem in the small city of Yucaipa! I’m camping nearby and I’ve been here three times already. Legit, great coffee and tasty healthy food options. You will not be sorry and plus there’s plenty of seating inside and some outside. Enjoy!

Large and spacious interior, which was cool. But the menu was overwhelmingly large. I went with two friends and after some deliberation, we got the French Toast latte, the You Snicker I Doodle latte, and a pourover. Our lattes were good in a novelty way, but the pourover tasted like water that happened to be dark brown. I wondered if they took one of the BLK waters from their display and poured it into a cup. Still, we had a Good Experience, but coming from the San Bernardino/Redlands area, I would not go out of my way to come back.

I’m visiting Redlands and found this place when I was looking for a cool local coffee shop — I’m glad I stopped here! They make a great Latte, the café inside is simple but welcoming, and the staff was very friendly. I like the fact that they also sell beer and Mexican Coke, along with kombucha and some other drinks. I can’t really speak for the food because I didn’t have any, but from what I saw and smelled, it seems amazing. They even have cereal dispensers which is pretty cool. The outside patio is nice and they have several umbrella-covered tables, along with a sweet fountain that adds to the chill ambiance.

This place is nice! Had some of their drinks and they were all good. But the thing that makes this place 5 stars is their t.b.c.(turkey, bacon, and chipotle)! It is so good!

I have given the Queen Bean many, many chances, but I simply cannot consume their food or beverages anymore. Their products are mediocre, at best. Their soup tastes like canned soup, their Hailee’s omelette tastes as if a toddler threw it together, the ‘vanilla’ in the vanilla latte tastes like it went bad years ago, the list goes on. The one exception to this may be the E.A.T. toast, which is actually quite delicious, but the portion size is so small and the price is so high that it’s really not worth it at all; I’d rather just make it at home. It seems as though the citizens of Yucaipa have very low standards when it comes to what they put into their bodies, so I am not surprised that the Queen Bean is still popular amongst the townspeople. I would like to see a quality restaurant finally be constructed into this junk food town.

This is the best coffee place in Yucaipa. They have tons of options and are cool about accommodating dietary needs. The food is delicious and fresh(although I think the kids menu is lacking and a bit overpriced). I love that they have a bin of toys for the kids– it’s a great place to meet a friend for coffee even if you have kids. My husband and I often bring the kids here for dinner or lunch, and we just as often go just the 2 of us.

We love the coffee, food, and atmosphere at Queen Bean Caffe in Yucaipa. There is a wonderful selection of delicious cold and hot beverages creatively crafted. The menu includes health-conscious breakfast and lunch items. Local students can be seen studying on their laptops, while children enjoy a small play area with a large chalkboard and games as their parents relax over coffee. The atmosphere is laid back with an artsy, community oriented flair.

This is a fun place to enjoy a great cup of coffee. You’ll notice lots of people sitting around using their internet(like at a Starbucks). We ordered food and was not overly excited about what we got. We will try their soup next time though.

I had to run to Urgent Care with my daughter due to swimmer’s ear. While I was waiting on CVS to fill her script this tired Mama needed a cup of joe. I seen they had a bacon latte… Say what?! Bacon? Who doesn’t love bacon? So I took the drive over here to find out they were out of that item. I ended up with a Salted Caramel Mocha which was pretty decent, a vanilla frothier which my daughter calls it her coffee, and they had a lavender latte. I’m a huge lavender fan whether it’s to eat, smell, drink whatever. I was disappointed that the latte taste like milk with maybe an after kick of lavender. The barista put another shot of lavender in it.(Which was awesome of them) again it was total weak sauce. I would come back though when I’m in Yucaipa. Looks like a nice coffeehouse with some amazing sandwiches. Can’t beat that there is definitely a huge drought of actual coffee houses near Beaumont.

This place is one of the few places that students can go to study and enjoy some snacks/food/coffee. This is definitely a gem in a city like Yucaipa. There are plenty of sitting, without outlets, and good A/C air flow. Unlike Starbucks it is not like a fridge, there are outdoor sitting for days with good weather. The breakfast sandwiches are good, but breakfast burritos are not as good. I always check-in and receive their 15% discount which is wonderful, and yall should NOT stop it. :) I continue to go here for coffee and food because Yucaipa Starbucks is too small, crowded, loud, and cold.

I am counting my lucky stars to have found this sweet hidden gem. It is tucked into the 5th Street Market Center right next to the Dairy Queen across from the library. I have always found a convenient parking space which is great. The staff are consistently welcoming and so helpful with guiding one thru the artistic menu which offers many healthy choices. I have had many items from this menu and can honestly say that they have all been very tasty, fresh, well prepared and plated beautifully. Many of the seats have plug in capabilities and this makes it easy to catch up on your email or cruise the net. The outdoor patio with fountain is charming and affords a pleasant outdoor dining, or just coffee with a good friend, experience. I often see the local mothers meeting together with their children In tow as this coffee house has a toy area and welcomes children. I am a fan of the Queen Bean Caffe and look forward to experiencing more of the items they have to offer on their great diverse drink and breakfast lunch menu. I recommend this place and hope you go when you can catch the beautiful natural lighting that permeates the entire restaurant each morning. See you there. And one very important note: bathrooms are always spotless and maintained, this is to be commended.

Queen Bean is a locally sourced coffee shop that manages to steer clear of the scourge of hipster cliches. It attracts a medley of customers(families with kids, retirees, teens, college students…) who partake in a range of activities(eating a meal, studying for hours, watching a band, playing games…) so I wouldn’t imagine anyone would feel out of place hanging out here. I also appreciate that they put in the effort to contribute to an active social scene by planning live music, game nights, open mics, etc. It’s also a refreshing departure from the Yucaipa of yore. I know this town has seen a lot of changes in the past decade and they’re, of course, not due to a coffee shop, but it is a token of the positive shift from Podunk stinkhole to somewhat-pleasant suburb with a few good things to offer. While I admire Queen Bean’s ideals and ambience, they’re not the only reasons I go here; the food is damn good, too. The baked goods rarely disappoint and the hot dishes I’ve ordered have all been rather tasty(albeit in small portions). However, I have deemed it overpriced(which is the reason it lost a star). To be fair, I find that to be the case with almost every coffee shop though.

Are we in Yucaipa? Yep — Mmmmm good! This place is cool, the ambiance is casual with all age folks represented. Outdoor seating too. Went with the Santa Fe Chicken Salad and I really enjoyed it. Corn, beans, chicken and the chipotle dressing was excellent. House brewed iced tea(locally sourced company in Redlands) was delish. We tried the peanut butter cupcake for dessert, not my personal preference, a little dry. I just really like this place. I am looking forward to trying a fee more items on their menu, I will be back for sure.

A good coffee shop. Nothing entirely spectacular, but good coffee & extra points for the large menu. The Bella Nutella Mocha blended drink is my usual as well as the strawberry & cream cheese croissant. Many teenagers hang out here and it seems to be the«hot spot» in Yucaipa: I can see why. Kudos to the baristas for occasionally remembering me because I pretty much come in here every day LOL

I have been putting off writing this review because I have had so many mixed experiences at this place. The GOOD: To Drink: My last visit here has been the most promising as I ordered an affogato(ice cream + espresso). It was super cute! They put it in a little glass and decorated it with coffee beans on top. I got decaf because no caffeine after noon and it tasted delicious. I need to know what kind of ice cream they use because it was so rich and creamy. Paired with the strong and bitter espresso. it was perfect! To Eat: I like most of the sandwiches, but I would suggest the Royal Cajun. Although it is on the sour side, so if you’re not into that then don’t bother. The NOTSOGOOD: To Drink: I usually go for a soy chai at coffee places, but I found Queen Bean’s to be too sweet. Maybe I just need to ask for less sweetener or just wait for all the ice to melt… To Eat: One day, instead of getting my usual sandwich, I thought I would be adventurous and try their omelet. Well, I was sorry that I did because it was very bland… like the whole thing. I ordered one without cheese and I guess they use the cheese to solely salt their omelets because the eggs and everything in my omelet were completely tasteless. I was sad. This place has such a great environment, and the staff are so nice. I just wish they would fine tune their seasonings/syrups a bit more.

I ordered the TBC, turkey bacon and chipotle mayo. The ciabatta bread was perfectly crisp on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. The contents were a good mix and had the just amount of kick and spice. I’m preferable towards spicy hot foods so it was perfect for me. However if you don’t normally eat hot spicy foods, it might be a bit much. I also ordered an iced Americano. I’m not a super coffee snob but I do appreciate a full bodied malty coffee flavor. The Americano was so good and had little acidity(which I love). Service was ok. The dining area was huge and seating area was comfortable enough. I appreciated the fact that they had a large chalkboard behind the pick up counter which listed the local vendors where they get their food, tea, and coffee.

I honestly do like this place, but, I found it to be overpriced. I spent $ 20 on lunch for just myself(and I don’t eat much). It was just a sandwich and drink! Kind of pricey for a small café you know? It wasn’t out of this world great but it was pretty good. I have tried this chipotle bacon sandwich thing and a salad. I have also tried the crepes(which weren’t very good). Their omelets aren’t special. They’re… well… just omelets! The only item I enjoyed was the sandwich itself. I guess I would go back and try other stuff but, what I have tried thus far hasn’t blown me away. Sorry QB. I do enjoy the atmosphere! Its a small café and its clean. Its got a hipster feel about it. People siting around clenching their guitars or reading books quietly. Patrons were willing to share their tables. It was cute.
