I don’t know about abiant or the pricess because I believe that both are good. I can’t really complain about the theme. Because whatever I think is a clean restaurant matters more than the décor. We ordered the Hawaiian named burgers, it has a pineapple mustard and a cheeseburger deluxe. Both were good but I loved the cheeseburger more. they serve ice cream which is groovy in my book annnnnd… I have to say, they did admitted that their fries came from frozen but so what? Can’t fix something that is not broken. Their Cajun fries is so much better than five guys because it has a nice level of salt and Cajun seasoning. you can taste best of both worlds. Try it, if u dont like it… Critisize fairly

Adequate, but disappointing. The burger tasted like one of those frozen patties from the grocery store.

Service was very friendly. Definitely stop by if you are in the area. I can only comment on the delicious burgers(veggie options!) Interior is super cute and retro

We ate here one time and so wanted to love this place. Walked in and the place was just a bit bright, but that’s okay. The 50’s theme is great with the music playing in the background. Owner was talkative and friendly. Woman behind cash register didn’t seem to want to leave that stool, swiveled around rather than get up and communicate with people, weird and off putting! So, we ask her a couple of questions about the place, food and menu and she doesn’t have a clue… honest, I thought she just stopped by, but I guess she actually works there. Okay, so the sandwiches looked and smelled good, unfortunately tasted plain, very plain. Even the onion rings had very little flavor. We just weren’t impressed. May go back someday to see if they’ve worked on the recipes; really want to support local businesses! 3-Stars for bright, clean place… can’t recommend these sandwiches, sorry.

Honestly loved it. Great atmosphere love the 50’s diner feel, great customer service, superb ice cream and all around great experience. Must try their Frito pie. I would recommend this place to all my friends, and most of all great music.

The food was good, service was great, I just wish they stayed open later. 8PM on the weekends is early.

Stopped buy during lunch and ordered a Bacon Cheese Burger. Hands down one of the best cheese burgers I’ve had. Staff seemed friendly. Will return again.

My friend didn’t care for her burger. She said the meat tasted bland like it was a frozen patty and the bun wasn’t toasted. My grilled cheese with tomato was OK but the bread is just small and thin. I’d prefer big sourdough bread.

The burgers are awesome! Ask for medium rare on the burgers. I got the deluxe cheese burger with extra cheese! They’re not pink inside but juicy and tasty. My kids were eating ice cream and regretted not getting the burger! I didn’t take a photo because I ate it!

Great burgers, chili and of course ice cream. Came for my birthday and was pleased. My kid’s burgers were a lil on the red side but I’m sure it could have cooked a lil longer. I would give them a five star but great atmosphere and I will definitely be back.

Cool Daddy-O’s take a page out of the old school 50’s diners, the look and feel and the menu are straight up Americana. In between Palm Springs on the way to Joshua Tree lies Yucca Valley and Palms Hwy is dotted with small eateries like Cool Daddy-O’s mixed in with places like Sonic. Translation… there are plenty of choices in the immediate area if you are looking for a burger and fires joint. I must say I expected more from my burger. It was a sign board special«blue» burger. Blue cheese and bacon, must be a winner right? Well, the patty was kinda tough and the blue cheese sauce soaked into the bun rendering it soggy and not so appealing. It was average, nothing objectionable but certainly not crave worthy or mouthwatering. It was loaded with ingredients and sauce but it lacked real satisfying flavor, not sure how but it fell flat. I enjoyed the fries but had to give up on the burger about half way through do to the aforementioned soggy bun. My buddy ordered the chicken salad with Avocado. A decent size lunch portion and he was pleased with the his meal. Frankly the salad saved the 3 star rating. My understanding is that they just recently opened and I don’t mean to be overly critical but I don’t think I would return for a burger here. Maybe when they get their groove going. It seems many are happy with Daddy-Os as is, so they are obviously appealing to some folks.

It’s a nice little throw back burger joint. Service was friendly, courteous and prompt. Ordered the deluxe cheeseburger. Burger patty was tasty and not cooked overdone. Lettuce, tomato, and onions were crisp and fresh. I especially liked the shoestring French fries. Nice clean décor and actual AC, which is a lot more I can say that other local restaurants have. Prices commensurate with other local restaurants; typical Upper Desert inflation. Dinner, a burger nugget platter, fries and sodas for two were $ 15.

Thanks for offering vegetarian options! My husband loved the Veggie Burger. At 1st when he looked at it he was apprehensive because the bun is not toasted, but he bit into it and said the flavor was delicious. The best he has had in this area. I had the veggie dog. They also offer a Salad Burrito. Service was fast. The place is clean. I am hoping this place lasts because I cannot think of another place that offers both Veggie Burgers and Dogs, that actually taste good. We will be back. The only thing they could do to amp up the quality is Toast the Buns. The spumoni ice cream was fun, plus you cannot get it at Rite Aid.

Breakfast sandwich was tasteless with bacon over cooked. And hamburgers were under cooked. Price was a bit high since you did not get anything with it but the burger.

Cashier is not too bright, 20 minutes later still no food. Went to inquire, she forgot, order arrived(still incomplete) about 10 minutes later. Food was delicious though! Clean.

After a great start this has turned into just another Yucca Valley burger bar :( Flavorless shakes, undercooked fries and bland burgers with I toasted buns!
