Cannot really decide between 3 and 4 stars, but since I enjoyed my stay I will opt for 4! Hotel is ugly from the outside. The whole building reminds me of the 60ies. But they have just refurbished the reception/lounge which has a modern touch now. Staff at reception very friendly, quick check-in. Our double deluxe room was on the 3rd floor and it as well«smelled»: freshly painted! Specious, bright room, little kitchenette, movable TV(haha, not only the telly and coffee table were movable, the bed was on rolls, too… fun fun fun) Overall: clean and perfect for a one night stay or even a holiday break. When we came home at around 1am we wanted to order 2 G&Ts(everything after 23pm has to be collected at reception). But the night porter did not find ice cubes, nor did he pour the drink in glasses: he simply handed us 2 cans of Tonic water and 2 bottles of gin. No ice, no limes, no glasses. But 10,00 €…Improvement or discount needed! Breakfast is until 10.30 am and there was actually everything you need for a good start into the day. Eggs, variety of different coffees, bread, fruits,… We werent greeted nor seated, a quick«buenas dias» was said after we made the first move. No dirty plates were removed from table either… but hey, maybe I am just being too picky and professional :) Closest station is Sants, 2 metros are also nearby as well as the Nou Camp! Good hotel for good value!
