VALLEY VILLAGE, CA
Walked in at 11:10, the host/​owner looked down for about 5 minutes before I approached myself. Was told kitchen is closed, none of the hours on Unilocal suggested such. Asked for food nearby in catalan and spanish. He told me no, it’s late. There are 2 restaurants next door. He had no interest in or care that I took a taxi 20 minutes to get there to try his place. Not very tourist friendly, even if you can speak basic spanish.

I think the jet lag may have been setting in. About 10 craft beers to select from. A pretty good selection. The chrizo bikini was good but ultimately it is a grilled sandwich. Wasn’t impressed with the bravas. I’ll give it another try when I get back.

I’m from the Pacific Northwest and to find a place that appreciates IPAs and other varieties of craft beer so close to our new place in Les Corts was an amazing surprise.
Ori, the owner/​operator, was an engaging host who enthusiastically talked about the tap list and his love of micro brewed beers.
Not only will I be a frequent visitor but our family, that includes two teenage daughters, were made to feel welcome as we watched our first home Barcelona game.
I highly recommend coming to El Tap, saddling up to the bar and sampling from the 12 craft beers.

Si estás por l’Illa y no quieres comida de centro comercial, este sitio está muy bien. Tienen un menú a 10e compuesto por un mini entrante y un principal. La ración no es muy grande, pero todo es bueno, fresco y casero, y el ambiente es muy agradable con música lounge.

Amazing slow cooked chicken thighs and 12 different freshly tapped beers. Great place to chill out with the family on a hot summer afternoon and grab a bite to eat. Fast wifi too!

Münchenstein, Switzerland
This new bar is an amazing addition to Barcelona. They have 12 different beers on tap (lots of IPAs) and a bunch of different tapas and sandwiches. The place is very cozy and the staff is really friendly. I had the Rye IPA which was delicious. As an American living abroad it is hard to find places that really know and appreciate good beers. El Tap is definitely a gem. I’m sure I’ll be back. And don’t forget to check out the awesome graphics by EveryHey on the bathroom door.

Es una cervezería recién abierta en el barrio de Les Corts. Fuimos para picar algo y al final terminamos cenando. Tienen una pizarra con una lista de unas 12 cervezas ordenadas de más suaves a más amargas. La media pinta sale a unos ¾€ y te aconsejan muy bien según tu gusto cervecero. Para picar probamos el guacahummus con zanahorias, muy bueno! Y una cazuelita de quesos. También tienen una carta de bocadillos muy originales con panes de diferente sabor y generosos de tamaño que acompañan con patatas artesanas. También tienen los bocadillos tradicionales, yo me pedí medio de fuet y me quedé superllena. Tardaron un poco en servirnos los bocadillos, pero teniendo en cuenta que les había fallado un cocinero y que están empezando, no le dimos importancia. Además nos compensaron invitándonos a los postres: un trozo de tarta de chocolate y otra de zanahoria. Queda pendiente volver para probar más bocadillos.
