while on the barcelona city tour bus, we got hungry and needed to «hop off» the bus for a little while so that we could re-​fuel before «hopping back on» the bus.
we decided to get off near the sants train station since this area likely had places for travelers to grab a quick bite. we picked this café, a couple of blocks from the train station, since their menu looked pretty extensive.
i ordered a tortilla espanola since i just couldn’t get enough of this traditional spanish omelet, no matter the time of day, breakfast, lunch, supper. my husband ordered a plate with sausage and french fries.
the food came out fairly quickly, a bit faster than most restaurants we’d been to, probably b/​c this was near the train station and they are used to serving guests who may be in a rush. as for the quality, i enjoyed my spanish omelet, and it was a generous portion, but it wasn’t the best one i’d had in spain. hubby ate every last bite of his sausage and french fries, even though he said that the taste was just average… guess he was really hungry from walking around that morning. i had one of his french fries and thought it wasn’t as crisp as a french fry should be.
we decided to get a dessert, since we were still just a little hungry, but got it for take out since we wanted to hop back onto the tour bus. we picked the crème caramel since we hadn’t had this traditional spanish dessert since arriving a few days earlier. it was a bit on the pricey side for such a small flan-​like sweet, but it was delicious and i think we made our fellow bus tour riders jealous!
while the food and service were very average, this was a convenient café to grab a bite without spending too much time.

Relacion calidad precio bueno, pero el servicio es algo lento y camareros poco agradables.

Bar de tapas que suele recibir bastante gente gracias a su ubicación, junto a la estación de Sants, pero no por su servicio, que es meramente correcto, ni tampoco por la comida, que es decepcionante, especialmente la carne, que tienden a servir demasiado cruda. Jamás había visto a tantos comensales devolver los platos a la cocina por no estar la carne lo bastante hecha.

Tapas muy completas y buen servicio. Mejor dentro q en la terraza. Ojo con los carteristas en la terraza.

Al lado de la estación de Sants. Aquí puedes tomarte unas tapitas a muy buen precio, Tiene una terracita y dos pisos, así que es bastante grande pero te sirven muy bien. Muy amables y además tienen menú por unos 10 euros. Muy bueno todo. Lo recomiendo por todo lo alto.
