My Bar is a small Irish bar (or should I say «pub») located along Ferran Street which is one of my favorite walking streets. Unlike many of the bars of the area, My Bar is rather busy even during the otherwise dull afternoon siesta hours and you’ll find many of the patrons speaking in English though most speaking Catalan. It’s also one of the few bars I’ve found to be frequented by few gays during times of daylight though it is most decidedly a straight bar.
They served up some rather decent bar food such as wings and burgers but I had a chance to sample some of their fish and chips and what they claim as being their best of the house steak and Guinness pie; both of which I found to be rather good.
The bartenders, who really know how to pour a pint are exceptionally friendly and the place can get really lively during the evening hours when attention is focus on soccer.
