Came to this bar March 2015, I was in Barcelona for the classico. We stumbled in mid day to have a pint or two but ended up staying for a few hours! The bartender Ronnie was the best, the coolest bartender we meet on our trip. Just a good solid bar with great service, next time I’m in Barcelona I’m gonna differently come back here.

After walking around most of the morning, we were looking for a place to sit and take a break. We had seen this particular pub among a few others ones earlier, and for no particular reason, we picked this one. There was only 1 other couple present, and we had the staff all to ourselves so our assessment of them may be a bit out of context. Beer was cold and reasonably priced. We ordered a plate of fries and they were tasty. Overall I guess it satisfied our need for some rest and the familiar feel of an Irish Pub within the very disparate feel of Barcelona.

We visited this pub a couple of times during our recent stay in Barcelona. We kept coming back to this place(and it’s neighbor«My Bar» which has the same owner) because it had an nice atmosphere and very friendly staff with a great sense of humor! Loved it! They have a good selection of beer on tap and the food is really good as well. The service was really fast. Within a few minutes our food was served and it was delicious. The prices are really okay so stopping by for a few beers and some food won’t cost you a fortune! If I come back to Barcelona I will visit this place again!

Wife and I had just finished checking out Placa Real on a hot August afternoon. We were hot and thirsty and just wandered by this place. It was handy and happy hour was on. Walked in and the AC was working :) Bartenders were cool and the music was OK. Their sangria was surprisingly good and reasonably priced. We also had some snacks. We knew that there was no way that this was one of the top bars in BCN, but it was convenient at the time and it fit the bill just fine.

I have been to the real Temple Bar in Dublin. This place seemed like it didn’t put much effort into it and making it a great Irish bar. They played some funky music that some wasn’t appealing. They had soccer games on the TVs that were everywhere. They had the sign that showed Sangria’s for 12Euro when come to find out that was only during Happy Hour(so don’t post after hours). The best part was free wifi. They should really look into live bands there to really spruce it up and give it the Temple Bar feeling! The place is OK, but nothing great.

It’s one of those often loud, soccer fan Irish Bars but with a good fun loving crowd. You can’t help but like the old wood and general style of the place though there is nothing Barcelona, Catalonia or Spanish about it other than the language most are speaking.

I like to try all different bars and cafes and the such when I go away but I have to say for some reason I really like this bar, just gave off a comfortable vibe at the time and the crowd were agood mix too. I can’t say I’m a big fan of Barcelona, I think it’s one of those places you love or hate and it just doesn’t do it for me but I could have spent the whole weekend in this bar and maybe I should have as it may have left a nicer taste for Barcelona behind it.
