Fantastic family run pub. Huge selection of homemade food and a massive drinks menu with loads of different beers. Great for big groups and the staff are very friendly, and irish! Don’t miss out on the 2×1 cocktails!

So apparently they don’t honor the check in desert redeem anymore, yet it’s still up and available to activate. Gosh it’s annoying when places so that. Burger and fries were ok, nothing to go out of your way to have. Shake was too watery even when told it was«thick» by the waitress. Be real though, you come here to watch a game and have junk food and beer. They do that well at least.

I went here with two friends early on a Saturday night. We had been traveling around Spain for a week and decided it was ok to not have tapas or paella for a night so found this Irish pub(on Unilocal!) quite close to the hotel for a burger and chips fix. I had a Brew Dog Punk IPA which was on draught and very good. Between the three of us we tried the Flaherty Burger, Roogger’s Burger, and a Cottage Pie. All came with chips. All the food was solid pub fare. My favorite parts of the night were a) the IPA(I haven’t had a good one lately) and b) the atmosphere. As the other reviews mention, its a sports bar and there was a football game on(Premier League) with fans on both sides. Was a nice night of good beer, good food, along with the cheers and curses of the sports fans. :)

If you are looking to have a discrete, cold pint at 11am when everyone else on the bustling La Rambla is drinking coffee, then this is your place. Can’t speak for the food, but other reviewers were correct in saying the staff is very friendly and attentive.

A local Irish Pub along the Rambles in the Barceloneta area. Tuesday get a steak dinner for 10 euros. Typical pub with people staying, leaving, groups and singles. The Real Madrid soccer game was coming on. A great value.

So, you’re in Barcelona. It’s a place on your bucket list, it’s a place on your significant other’s bucket list, maybe it’s just where the cruise ship stopped. You’ve walked Las Ramblas, you’re pretty much done with tapas, paella and Sangria(the Holy Trinity), and you think, «I need a pint.» First, get a pint. This is a pub, after all. Then, order some Irish Nachos — not really Irish, not really nachos, just awesomeness on a plate. Sandwiches are good. Everything seems reasonably priced, especially compared to places on Las Ramblas. There are a lot of expats here, so be ready for cheering for random sports events. Also, be ready for people on the patio cheering for a game showing inside, so unless you recognize their jerseys, you may never know what they’re on about. Staff is friendly. Service is quick. Food is good. For once in Barcelona, you don’t have to ask for English menus. It’s strange to write«not a lot of locals here», but given their target audience, perhaps that’s not an issue. I get the feeling this is not about exporting«Irish» culture(Yorkshire pudding? Really?), it’s about providing a place for the homesick who just can’t deal with the Hard Rock again.

Solid pub experience just off of Las Ramblas. It’s the perfect spot to view EPL matches while in Barcelona, and while we were there we watched Arsenal and Liverpool both blow it, which was enjoyable and only added to the experience as everyone was in to the game. I went with a group of eight, and experienced great service and filling portions of Irish fare. Prices were great in comparison to what you get on Las Ramblas just one street over. If I’m in Barcelona again and looking to watch the game, this is the first place I will check.

So there you are, in Barcelona, so many things to do, so many things to see and yet you find yourself in search of an Irish pub cause the rugby is on. Flaherty’s was the second on we came across but the first one to show the match. Atmosphere was good with a mix of locals and rugby-addicted tourists alike, all having a drink and watching the game. I got a bit home sick. The service was exceptional. Friendliest, smiliest waitress in all BCN I’d say, quick to take our order and quick to serve as well. We had a few beers and some food; BLT and chips para senior and pasta salad with olives and grilled chicken para mi. Both were very nice pub grub options and just perfect for the occasion. I definitely recommend Flaherty’s for any sports needs you may have, lots of screens, free wifi, Irish draught and craft beers, nice food and friendly service. As if you’ve never left the home.

We wanted a proper breakfast. Not one of those European breakfasts of rolls and crackers(that most hotels seem to offer). This place looks like a bar, but they have umbrella tables(plus I think booths inside, though we didn’t go inside). The food was OK. Outdoor seating was nice except smoking is allowed in Spain, and folks at neighboring tables were doing it. This is a problem everywhere. You don’t realize how successful the anti-smoking campaign has been in the US until you go to Europe and it seems everywhere someone is smoking like a chimney. It’s actually obnoxious by American standards. I guess Europeans don’t get lung cancer??? Anyway, reasonable prices(for Europe) and decent food. I would come here again.

Super friendly staff. Paul was great, he made good recommendations and was extremely entertaining. We just came for drinks. Me and a friend ordered vodka sodas– this has to be the best vodka soda I’ve ever had(brand name is Eristoff). My friend who also had a vodka soda also thought it was delicious and she never drinks vodka sodas. We didn’t get food, but I’m sure it’s just as good.

Good vibe, lots of genuine Irish folk! Drinks are reasonable prices and they had rugby on, with sound! Impressive in a soccer loving nation such as Spain! Good size, lots of space!

Wonderful staff, and in Barca, that’s hard to find! Here’s the dilema we had: We work from our computers, anywhere in the world. We decided to spend 3 months in Barcelona, living & working. But we didn’t want to spend all our time in our apartment. So I searched out restaurants/cafes that had free wifi and plug outlets that we could use. In the US, this is a very common resource. But in Barcelona, they’re few and far between. This Irish Pub had free wifi, outlets to plug in our computers, great and super friendly staff and wonderful food! It was a serious gem! So, if you’re in Barcelona, looking for a co-working space, go here! It was just what we needed. The food is all very good too! I had the fried chicken salad and my friend had the ribs, both amazing. Especially for an Irish Pub in Spain.

A mi me gustó mucho.

I was in Barcelona with my boyfriend and we came across this Irish Pub. It was the perfect place to get an evening drink at the end of a long day of touring! The bartender spoke English and we ordered a few beers. The German beer on tap was lovely, and went down smoothly. Free wifi in this place was a great help and if I stayed in Barcelona longer, I’d be sure to come back!

Sad to say, our home base while in Barcelona was an Irish Pub. We spent our first night in town here watching the FC Barcelona/Man U championship game back in May. The place was packed even at 2pm in the afternoon(for a 6pm game). Tables were already reserved but luckily, the awesome manager Tatyana gave us a high table with two chairs eventhough they weren’t planning on allowing chairs there. We ate a great pub meal of quesadillas and fries(ok, maybe not typical Irish fare but it was great typical pub food). The crowd was fantastic and exciting as we experienced our first international futbol game. We felt like outsiders watching the Phils win the World Series. The only downer was that my purse was taken as it sat right night to me. Luckily, despite not seeing what he looked like as he fled through the crowd, I still tracked the guy outside who stood there like an idiot with a backback thinking this stupid American wouldn’t persue him. I did, and with the help of the bouncer, got my purse back and proceeded to enjoy the rest of the night at Flahertys. The staff is the best and the reason why we would stop in every night for a drink. Eddie, Tatyana, Nikki– all awesome people! Friendly, provide great service and fun to hang out with. If you’re looking for a break from all the Spanish culture(not that it’s not wonderful, because it is) — Stop in here and grab one of the many beers they have on tap and strike up a conversation with the stellar staff.
