Good quality for good food. We we’re staying for a few days in Barcelona and every day we went to get a sandwich for just a few euro’s. Delicious! When I’m coming back to Barcelona I’ll certainly will come back to taste these delicious treats again! Certainly worth you’re money.

I went here on a Friday night around 8pm and the place was about ²⁄₃ full. Considering the huge number of restaurants (many almost empty or less than half full) in the area (La Rambla /​Gothic Quarter), we thought this was a good sign. Upon entering, it seemed that most of the customers were locals (plus!)
Our goal was coffee and cake. (They also have an extensive food menu here as well as beer and wine but we did not have any of these.) Between the three of us we tried the carrot cake (Pastel Zanahoria), a chocolate cake with strawberry jam inside (Selva Negra), and «Xuxo» — a rolled pastry filled with crema catalana, deep fried, and coated in sugar. (A traditional Catalonian treat.) As late night coffee-​goers but not night owls — we were happy to find they had decaffeinated coffee as an option and even soy milk! I have not seen this at any other restaurant we’ve been to thus far in Barcelona.
The service was very friendly and attentive — very patient and helpful with all of our questions.
I can definitely recommend this as a great casual place for a coffee and cake while shopping in the area.

Con un aspecto clásico, la atención es buena y los cafés aceptables, tiene gran variedad de pasteles o mejor dicho muchas opciones de un mismo formato de pastel. (no estan mal de tamaño).
También preparan batidos naturales, sirven comidas y si aunque los baños esten arriba, disponen de medios para que personas con minusvalias puedan subir.
La limpieza de los servicios no es aceptable, puede ponerse de excusa que esta en calle transitada por turistas, pero no por ello hay que descuidar la limpieza.

Lo cierto es que entramos por casualidad, estábamos dando un paseo y nos apetecía un desayuno. Después de mirar en varias panaderías con degustación y sobretodo cafeterías, nos decidimos a entrar ya que el sitio tiene bastantes mesas y la apariencia es buena. Desde luego las pastas y la repostería llamaban sugerentemente la atención y mas a alguien que se pirra por el dulce como es mi caso. La oferta de 2 € por un café con leche y una pasta nos gustó, vale que no es una ganga pero tampoco es desorbitado por la zona donde está (veníamos de ver una cafetería donde nos pedían por un cortado 1’90 € !!! Casi me da un lagartijo al verlo!)
El café aquí esta rico la verdad, y las pastas muy buenas! El croissant que me comí ha sido el mejor en mucho tiempo, pero es que últimamente ni en mi cafeteria favorita lo encuentro sabroso, todos están un pelin secos.
El servicio es muy rápido, en cuanto te sientas en la mesa te preguntan y en minuto y medio tienes servida la mesa por muy lleno que esté el sitio y eso es de agradecer, sobretodo si hay hambre y te ves rodeada de pastelitos.
Lo dicho, sitio recomendable si estas dando un paseo por las Ramblas o la plaza Sant Jaume.

Friendly, helpful staff and good (but small) coffee and fresh Orange Juice. Many pastries and sandwiches. Croissants were excellent, other pastries were quite good and sandwiches good and useful for taking back for the ravenous teens when they awoke. They open at 7:30 am (early by Barcelona standards) during the week. This was a staple for us.

Es un sitio bueno para desayunar. Tiene bastante variedad de pasteles y bollería. Lo único que no me gusta demasiado es la mermelada que ponen con las tostadas. Bastante mala.
Los precios están bien y es un lugar donde se suelen juntar las típicas pandillas de señoras mayores a tomar el café y a cotillear un poco :)
