Yes, Pesca Salada was once a place that sold salt fish, and its décor keeps true to it’s seafaring theme, with gold and silver paper plates arranged like fish scales along the ceiling, and the bathrooms in what was a one-​time icebox.
The gintonica I ordered had a mix of citrus and floral flavors. Absolutely refreshing and delightful… I almost don’t understand how I used to despise gin back in the States. Apparently they have other cocktails — but if gin is their specialty, I’ll stick with it. They did do it right.
Fortunately, we came on a random Tuesday night, so it wasn’t crowded at all… but I can only imagine what it’s like on the weekends!

I think this may be my favorite place in Barcelona. So happy to have found it in an article about the emergence of gin & tonic in Spain!
Super cool vibe, including the ceiling, light fixtures, and wall decorations. Great drinks. Not pretentious, laid back, neighborhood vibe. Kind of exactly what you want!

Right in the border between the Raval and Sant Antoni you can find this hidden gem. Its name comes from the stores that sold back in the days salted fish like cod and herring. In fact, if you pay attention the restroom it is situated inside an old fridge. I can imagine the women selling you a piece of desalted cod behind the bar. And now they serve drinks, and they serve them very well and with a really good vibe. I only ordered beer when I went but they have good selection of craft beers. But I have taken a look to their cocktail’s menu and they have a good selection of gin and tonic and other delicacies at affordable prices. I also love the way they have decorated the place, with old paper plates on the ceiling making them look like fish scales and beer caps on the bar. Genious!

Este lugar sirve los mejores gin tonics de BCN. Para mi es una parada fija cada vez que vengo. Si es fin de semana, asegurare de moverte antes que la masa de gente, ya que es muy pequeño y se llena rápido.

Pesca Salada is *so cool*! An old fish shop, this little locale has been converted into the best-​decorated, maritime/​fish-​themed Gin-​Tonic bar I’ve ever seen! The music is hip, the walls covered in beautiful original tiles, the ceiling in «fish scales.» This spot is a recipe for good fun! Pesca Salada is small, but it leaves a big impact. So, too, do the great drinks they make. The gin-​tonic menu reads like a novel, with rich descriptions that perfectly describe their high quality. Though not the cheapest spot on the planet, Pesca Salada is a special place, and one that absolutely deserves a visit. I’ll be back very soon. See you there!

Tienen una variedad increíble de Gin tonics. Probamos 3 y no sé cual mejor. Nos trajeron unos pinchos riquísimos de salmón y queso para completar el placer. El local pequeño pero tiene algo. Los precios entre 8 – 10 euros.

Me aconsejaron el lugar para tomar unos buenos cócteles, y no me defraudó. El local es muy pequeñito, pero acogedor. Su decoración me hizo mucha gracia, ya que todo el techo imita las escamas de un pez. En una de las paredes hay un acuario artificial.
Tuvimos que esperar un poco hasta que todos fuimos servidos, pero el resultado fue bueno. Volveré

Quieres tomarte un gintonic por el Raval!!! Pues éste es tu lugar. Distintos tipos de este cocktail legendario para distintos tipos de fans. Elige el que quieras de su carta… pepino? pétalos de flores…
Si vas fíjate en su techo y en su baño. La decoración es muy peculiar a pesar del handicap de su reducidísimo espcacio. O quizás sea la virtud que le hace un poco especial.
Lo malo, que los precios son un tanto excesivos y el servicio especialmente lento. Las cosas de palacio van despacio??? hombre, si el bar tuviera las dimensiones de un palacio y no de un baño de festival lo entendería…

No soy fan del gin-​tónic, tan sólo tolero el Hendricks. Pero me tomé uno en el Pesca Salada para poder escribir con conocimiento de causa. Cosa fina.
Si todo el mundo habla del Pesca Salada como parada obligatoria de los amantes de esta bebida, les puedo asegurar que es por algo. El techo sugiere un panel a base de aletas de mar y justo en el medio cuelga una lata de sardinas gigante y a medio abrir. El espacio es bastante reducido y en él se mezclan turistas que degustan el gin-​tonic a todo correr (quizá porque tienen prisa por seguir su ruta, quizá por otras razones) con gente joven que charla y saborea la copa con esmero.

Por favor no empecéis a pensar en sardinas, no! A pesar de su nombre este bar es un dulce y sus camareros también.
Ingeniosamente decorado, respetando su antiguo quehacer, este bar nos permite tomarnos un gin-​tonic bajo el mar. No quiero desvelar nada más porque vale la pena descubrirlo por uno mismo.
En estas aguas me siento bien, La Pesca Salada es un sitio tierno y simpático, donde todo está hecho con mucha cura, originalidad y sobre todo amor.
