Great laid-​back location, easy-​going staff, good food. Maybe not as authentically Spanish as other places in Barcelona, but never a mistake either. The paella is worth your time, as are the drinks.

Good place for an exotic burger and views of the ocean. Attached to the W hotel, it gives you a nice break from the pool scene of smoking bothers you. Bothered us big time so we went in search for nutrition elsewhere and until angels found this place. The server Julian was warm, friendly and helpful with recommendations. Recommended if you’re looking for a simple burger bar.

El Salt tiene una parte interior y una parte exterior, en plan chiringuito cool (el «Beach Club»). Yo solo he estado sentada fuera y os aseguro que tiene unas vistas maravillosas a toda la playa de la Barceloneta y al mar. Supongo que es justo por ese motivo y por ser un negocio propiedad del Hotel W que los precios son elevados. Pero vamos, sabiendo esto y yendo preparado, el Salt puede ser un sitio bonito y especial donde tomar unas copas con tus amigos y/​o tu pareja. A pesar de que es carillo, lo recomiendo. Eso sí, el servicio me pareció algo frío… si ganasen un poco en simpatía y cercanía le pondría 4 estrellas sin pensarlo.

This is such a special restaurant! Tucked on the edge of the beach underneath the W Barcelona — once you experience dining here you will want to come back again and again. The manager Mathieu and his amazingly charming staff will make your meal at Salt one you’ll remember. The food is delicious — classic and casual dishes with just the right Catalan touch. Pao and Javi at the bar are the perfect mixologist team. There is no beating the location and the atmosphere is beach/​resort chic. Do yourself a favor and skip some of the more complicated restaurants in town and let yourself unwind with the staff at Salt.

Aprovechando que fuimos al Pukas para hacer un poco de paddlesurf, nos paramos en este chiringuito situado al final del paseo, justo debajo del imponente W.
El sitio está muy bien, muy buenos cocktails, dj’s pinchando, buen sonido y unas vistas inmejorables, ya que está a pie de playa y tienes una panorámica de todo el litoral.
Lógicamente, barato no es, pero si hace buen día y buena compañía, merece la pena.

Siempre paso corriendo por al lado y la verdad es que me había quedado con las ganas de pararme. Ayer tuve la oportunidad de quitarme esa espinita clavada.
El rincón es incomparable, en el extremo sur de las playas de Barcelona, con una vista a toda la costa hasta el forum, y si está claro, al fondo está el Montseny. Tuvimos hasta un DJ durante un rato.
Pero amigo, los precios son también una cosa especial. Yo como clásico que soy, me pedí una caña de cerveza, y son 6 leuros, que se dice pronto. Los cócteles estás sobre los 12 – 14 y la botella de Champagne Rose Clicquot a 140. Es lo que denomino precios para ocasiones especiales o para billeteras especiales (tranquilos que cojen tarjetas).

Uno de los bares con la mejor localización de Barcelona, ideal para el verano. Relajate escuchando música y compartiendo unas bebidas con amigos mientras disfrutas de buena música y la vista del mar.
Realmente no tiene perdida, precios bastante moderados, camareros amables, variedad de cocktails… ya dije que las vistas eran increibles?

Our recent trip to Spain was a first for me and my partner. We had issues acclimating to the culture, food, etc being meat and potato eaters. Combined with jet lag, I felt I may have to starve for the entire week. Fortunately, we decided to explore the restaurants within our hotel, the W. And we found Salt. Yes I know it’s burgers and fries. But it wasn’t just the food and drinks that earned the 5 star review. It was the staff. From Anna the hostess, to our waiter and bartender whose names escape me, the staff were amazing. They all approached the table at one point or another to make sure we were taken care of. And finally, the ambiance of sitting at the Mediterranean just cannot be beat. Salt was one of our best eatery experiences between Madrid and Barcelona. I highly recommend it.

The beachfront bar at SALT is extraordinary!!! Spectacular view of La Barceloneta beach. Terrific seats on the sand, great atmosphere & fun music. Strong recommendation for the end of your day and slip into a delicious night. My hubby loved the Sagria Cava… champagne sangria!

My friend and I had a great experience here. The bartender made us tasty drinks that were not on the menu. The staff were very helpful and kind. The food was delicious. Highly recommend!
