Gran restaurante en el barrio Gotico, local muy amplio y con decoracion clasica, muy comodo, servicio impecable, carta de platos regionales muy bien elaborados, carta de vinos amplia y con precios ajustados, en general los precios de los platos principales muy adecuados a su alta calidad, muy recomendable para comidas de celebraciones.

This place rocks… I read few reviews before making reservation, I came in with my own bottle of water, no order bread, my waitress even advised me not to order too much & my bill came out so reasonable. The dishes are outstanding, fresh seafood, the duck was sooo good. I am coming back for 2^nd time to complete my wished list. So study its menu, prepare yourself, set your expectation, win-​win for both sides. Service excellent, outstanding foods…

This is a nice sit down restaurant in the popular barrio gotico neighborhood. The atmosphere is romantic and the restaurant itself feels upscale. Unfortunately I wasn’t too impressed by the food. I had the beef fillet which I found to be quite tough and not very flavorful and my husband had the monkfish which he said was rubbery. The service was pretty good, although not many of their staff spoke English. All in all I would say I enjoyed the experience but the food was not worth the 80 € spent.

Giving the benefit of the doubt because I loved my meal (Canelons de la Fonda Europa de Granollers) and the service was great. I was visiting the city on a business trip and came to this restaurant with friends (locals) who made correct recommendation for me… otherwise would not have ordered what I did. «Interesting» (in a good way) location/​ambience. Would recommend.

Nice atmosphere and great price for the environment. I got the sausage and my friend got the veal. I tasted both and they were blend…

When I planned my trip to Barcelona my must have dinner in Spain was Paella. This restaurant destroyed what should have been a great meal. My wife’s tuna was too salty. Our friend and his wife had the Cannelloni and the Hake. The jake was very good the cannelloni was half eaten. The waiter must have had a fight at home because he was in a bad mood and inattentive.

My go-​to restaurant in Barcelona. I came here as a broke college student when I wanted a nice meal in a sophisticated atmosphere. The food is flavorful and well-​presented, and priced very reasonably. I actually like that they serve you course after course very quickly because who likes waiting to eat anyways.

Comida catalana. Buena calidad y precio medio, eramos 4 y pedimos 4 platos para picar (incluyendo el jamón, que estaba buenisimo), un segundo para cada uno y una crema catalana para cada uno, muy muy buena. Botella de vino tinto y 4 cervezas y nos salió a 30 € por persona.

Great ambiance, food and service! The restaurant was recommended by our hotel concierge and we’re very happy to have been there. We had the artichoke and wild mushrooms to start, followed by the pan fried escargot (very delicious and it was a pan full… didn’t expect such a big serving… if I knew I wouldn’t have ordered another entrée as this dish was entrée size), the duck entrée and the octopus with mashed potatoes entrée. All were very well presented and tasty. We ended with the soufflé topped with vanilla ice cream and meringue… a very nice ending! I would recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a nice romantic dinner. Price seemed reasonable to me — our total was 59 euros (before tip).

We tried to go there a couple of days ago based on good review from our guide book. It was full for the night so we booked our place for today at 8.30.
We went there on time, there was a long waiting line but we were seated in couple of minutes then the rush began! A waiter who didnt speak any english nor french and i even doubt he speaks spanish came 3 times to take our order in 5 min. At the end we decided to share 1 starter and 1 one main course and some wine (we were two). Then 3 min later all the dishes came at the same time! We had to repeat 4 time we wanted to share the plates but the waiter couldnt get it at all. Such a disapointment. We would think we were in such a good restaurant but they couldnt even serve the starters before the main dish and they were in such a rush to us be finished before the next round of customer to come in and spend their money on this rubbish cuisine! I say rubbish because it tasted as hell and even our neighbour table asked for crème caramel and they got a half frozen desert!!! Frozen!!! I tried to communicate my disatisfaction to the head waiter but got nothing but a ‘thank you’!! We’ve been in barcelona for a week now and eaten in most of different places but this is the worst of the worst places we were in! Such a shame for such a good name. Worst service, worst food!

Segunda vez que voy a este restaurante. Se come bien y el ambiente es muy relajado, quizá demasiado por causa de la escasa luz ambiental (tenue y cálida).
Creo que el precio de la carta está bien, aunque quizá un pelín sobrevalorado.
Pecan un poco de sobre-​condimentar y «ensalsar» demasiado cualquier plato: entrantes muy salados (evitad todo lo que lleve oliva) y principales muy grasos.
Yo quedé contenta con el steak de atún y guarnición de verduras a la brasa (un poco escaso).
Los postres un poco caros para lo sencillos que eran. La copa de chocolate y menta de casi 5 € es una simple mousse de chocolate (muy rica si realmente amas el chocolate) con un chorrito de sirope de menta muy banal.
En cambio los camareros muy serviciales y atentos en todo monento, el servicio en general muy correcto.

As a first time visitor to spain, I was extremely displeased with how this place treated tourists.
First, be aware that nothing is free. The bread and wine they rush to your table without request both cost money.
Second, after having drunk the tap water in Barcelona for a few days and not having a problem with it, I asked our server for «agua del grifo» (tap water). The server said I could not have tap water, only bottled. When I clarified why i could not have tap water, our server explained that the tap water in all of Spain was contaminated and it was against the law to for him to serve it. I suspect this a tourist only policy.
Finally, the bill was in catalan and had to ask my server to clarify a few lines on the bill. We were charged for wine we didn’t have (another trend I’ve noticed in Spain — check your bill!). Our server begrudgingly fixed our bill and was all too happy to see is go.
I spoke spanish, and spoke politely. The attitude of this server seems endemic of the rest of Spain. They want tourist dollars, but don’t want to provide the appropriate service to earn it. It’s as if by virture of being Spain, tourists owe them money. Despite Rick Steve’s recommendation, avoid this place if you’re a tourist.

Don’t let the fancy looks of this place fool ya — the menu (and the price) was a lot more approachable. Once you figure out that the menu is translated in several languages, zoom in on what looks good from the starters and the main entrée sections.
We opted for Mediterranean mussels and a refreshing salad of octopus and greens. Both of these were good and the salad, in particular, is something I would most likely try to make at home. Unfortunately, neither of the main entrees were executed as successfully with the paella being just mediocre and my fillet of dorado had more bones than I was willing to pick out (it’s a good thing I’m quite patient with this task).
Because it’s a fancier looking place and situated next to a hotel, it had a lot of international guests that I felt overwhelmed the servers. They were not rude — they were simply understaffed. I might recommend other eateries in the area and with this being located in Born — you will surely find one!

Eine freundliche aber flotte Begrüßung ließ es erahnen: Es wird eher abgefertigt als beraten oder umsorgt, neues Besteck fast schon hingeschmissen (aber akkurat! :o))
Das Ambiente ist durchaus nett. Das Restaurant ist beliebt und immer gut gefüllt. Einen Tisch sollte man vorab reservieren. Die Tische sind nett eingedeckt, die Sitzmöbel bequem, das Licht nicht zu grell, von Sträußen aus Glühbirnen (coole Idee!), eine hohe Decke durch einen Ballustradengang.
Am Nebentisch war man mit dem Essen sehr zufrieden, wir hingegen nicht. Der katalanische Eintopf hatte wenig Geschmack, letztlich konnte man nur etwas von der Einlage herausfischen (verkochte Nudeln, völlig verfettetes Fleisch). Die Muscheln waren schmackhaft, die Soße war allerdings nichts zum Tunken, da sie quasi nur aus dünnem Sud bestand. Schade. Die marinierten Paprika mit Stockfisch waren hingegen nicht schlecht, aber als Hauptgang falsch auf der Karte (sollte eher Aperitiv sein).
Der Hauswein war ein sehr gewöhnlicher Roter (aber trinkbar).
Alles in allem kann ich das Lob hier nicht ganz verstehen, denn in jedem anderen Restaurant in Barcelona habe ich besser gegessen.

Kann mich leider der allgemeinen Meinung nicht anschließen. Vielleicht hatte die Kellnerin auch einen schlechten Tag, aber ihre Bocklosigkeit glich der eines Maulwurfs mit Koffein-​Schock (so zumindest stelle ich es mir vor). Das Essen begann gut mit 2 Vorspeisen und die Hauptspeise verdient eigentlich kein Kommentar. Einfach durchschnittlich. 2 Sterne für das schöné Ambiente.

Packs out on a busy Saturday mid-​day so I recommend an earlier visit. Excellent bread with piquant olive oil which whets your appetite. Really nice, creative menu for a high cuisine lunch or dinner. Seafood dishes are super and trotter, veal cheeks, and about are all on the menu. Excellent ambiance and a nice alternative to the loads of tapas places (most of which are also excellent).

Es uno de mis restaurantes preferidos de Barcelona. A parte de ser precioso por dentro, la carta es muy buena. Comida catalana a muy buena relación calidad/​precio. Los arroces son geniales, tanto el ¨Arroz Senyor Parellada¨como los arroces del día. Siempre he acertado en este lugar.

The food, price, and atmosphere were wonderful. I give it 4 stars for this, minus 2 stars for nearly every employee being rude, inattentive, and/​or indifferent. I would recommend it if you are able to disregard the contempt of the servers.

Senyor Parellada ist in der Altstadt von Barcelona und ist eine traditionelle Fonda, also ein Gasthaus (auch heute ist hier noch ein Hotel in den oberen Etagen, das Hotel Banys Orientals). Dort ist man früher mit der Kutsche eingefahren — wieso ist das wichtig? Naja, ist es nicht, aber man versteht dann vielleicht das Layout des Restaurants etwas besser:
In Erdgeschoss ein sehr hoher, von Säulen getragener Gastraum, in dem die Kronleuchter, die anderswo barock und überladen wirken würden, sich einfach bescheiden ins Gesamtensemble einfügen.
In der Mitte des Raums ist ein überdachter Patio über den man noch einen Blick in den Gastraum in der ersten Etage erhaschen kann.
Insgesamt ist der Raum schön hell und modern restauriert ohne seine Vergangenheit zu leugnen. Das gefällt mir sehr gut. «Cool» gibt’s sowieso schon genug.
Generell kann man wohl sagen, dass Senyor Parellada kein Geheimtipp ist — um die Mittagszeit nicht zu reservieren ist einfach nur naiv… und endet vermutlich in einer der Touristenfallen der Nachbarschaft.
Die Karte ist nicht zu lang und auch nicht — was mich manchmal etwas nervt — «international crossover», sondern — wie der Raum auch — modernisiert bodenständig.
Das Essen selber — also hier muss ich jetzt gerade etwas lächeln — beim meinem ersten Gang, Verdura, hätte man in einem anderen Restaurant vermutlich die Portion verkleinert, damit man sie hübscher auf dem Teller drapieren kann und auch mein zweiter Gang, Thunfischsteak, war eine wirklich gute Menge — wenn auch diesmal deutlich besser in Szene gesetzt. Und — wie bestellt — genau auf den Punkt.
Wermutstropfen: Mein Dessert — Käsekuchen (sehr lecker) — hat aus unerfindlichen Gründen ziemlich lang gedauert, so dass alle anderen mit ihrem Nachtisch schon fast fertig waren. Und dann kam der hausgemachte Kuchen noch mit Sprühsahne. Naja — trotzdem insgesamt ein sehr gelungenes Essen.
Der Service ist schnell, aufmerksam und recht unauffällig. Eines der Erkennungsmerkmale eines guten Restaurants — für mich wenigstens.
Preise sind eher im Mittelfeld angesiedelt — also recht günstig.
FAZIT:
Nettes Ambiente, gute Küche, ziemlich guter Service, akzeptabler Preis, sehr zentral. Ich würde mal sagen, Senyor Parellada hat schon das Zeug zu einem Tipp. ;-)

Was recommended to us by our business partner in Barcelona.
In the busy El Born neighborhood and right on the main walking street Carrer de l’Argenteria. From the outside it looks a bit fancy, pricy, and touristy. Yes, there were a good deal of tourists and the look is white table cloth, but the menu was reasonably priced, food excellent, and service among the best on our trip. Recommended if you want a nice white table cloth meal with a traditional one appetizer and one entre meal. Good wine list, not overpriced. Excellent.

Uno de los templos gastronómicos de la ciudad, que con tan ilustre apellido destaca entre la manida oferta culinaria de la zona. Cocina tradicional catalana, con producto muy fresco y cuidado servicio (y eso que hay un montón de mesas colmatadas de hambrientos guiris y locals). El edificio que alberga el restaurante (y hotel) es una preciosidad, como tantos de la propia calle Argenteria y el mismo barrio del Born/​Ribera. Pero bueno, a lo que vamos, la comida: en todas mis visitas me ha parecido muy irregular. Hay platos sublimes y otros mediocres. Y, en general, destaco mucho más los entrantes y platos principales más sencillos. Me da la sensación que, cuando más se ponen a elaborar, más barrocas y saturadas se vuelven sus creaciones. Un ejemplo es su famoso «arròs Parellada», que está recargadísimo de carne y eclipsa el conjunto. En cambio, si te pides unas gambas, un pescado marinado, algo a la plancha… el resultado es óptimo. Los precios no son un disparate, o sea que le podéis dar una oportunidad.

Buscaba un sitio para a cenar con un viejo amigo con el que tengo muy pocas ocasiones de estar. Lo que vimos desde la entrada nos invitó a entrar y así descubrimos el Senyor Parellada. Teníamos mucho que contarnos y el lugar nos ofreció la tranquilidad para hablar largo y tendido.
El servicio es genial y aconsejo seguir sus recomendaciones: pedir el filete gigante fuera de carta sobre tostada y con verduras, a compartir entre 2. También tomamos el vino recomendación de la casa «Sospechoso» es afrutado en nariz pero seco en boca, cosecha del 2010 ¡Muy bueno! Aunque su etiqueta todavía lo es más ;-)

Nach fast zehn Jahren haben wir vergangenes Wochenende das Restaurant
Senyor Parellada wieder besucht. Ich muss sagen: einfach immer noch eines der besten
Restaurants der Stadt mit katalanischer Küche, tradizionell und doch modern. Der Cava,
den wir zum Aperitiv geordert haben super erfrischend, spritzig und voll im Aroma.
Zur Vorspeise entschieden wir uns für Musclos de Roca
(Muscheln gedämpft in sahniger Sauce mit Kartoffelstäbchen) und Escalivada amb Areng
(Hering auf marinierten Paprika), dazu einen trockenen Weisswein aus dem Rueda-​Gebiet.
Beide Angebote in hervorragender Qualität und Quantität. Der Hauptgang eher einmal klassisch,
Bacalao a la Brasa (gedünsteter Stockfisch mit Knoblauchmousseline überbacken auf frischem
Spinat,
ein Gericht welches ich schon mehrfach dort gegessen habe) und ein
Steak de Tonyina
(Thunfischsteak serviert mit Marktgemüse) Beides auf den Punkt zubereitet, saftig und
meeresfrisch. Zum Dessert, wie könnte es anderst sein, eine Crema Catalane sowie ein
Flan dou amb Torrone (Flan aus spanischem Nougat hergestellt) Beide Creazionen, süss,
klebrig, einfach zum reinliegen. Falls das Restaurant in weiteren zehn Jahren noch existiert,
dann nichts wie hin!

Buena relación calidad-​precio. La mayoría de los platos rondan los 15 € (sin IVA) pero también hay de 7 €, por lo que sí eres comedido con el vino y postres puedes salir a 25 € por persona.
Estuve con mi familia e hicimos un pica-​pica para comenzar y luego un plato cada uno. De la primera parte destacar las croquetas y los mejillones que venían con una salsa excelente distinta a las típicas ya que estaba hecha con crema de leche o mantequilla. Dos de mis hijos eligieron macarrones y realmente estaban estupendos (y a 7 € ;-)). Yo me decante por la paella Parellada. Estaba bien pero bastante inferior a la de las 7 Puertas (eso si, 10 € más económica por ración …). El punto de sal era correcto pero el arroz no era bomba y, para mi gusto, ligeramente pasado. Mi mujer tomó un lenguado fuera de carta con un acompañamiento de almendras estupendo. Los postres correctos pero sin sorpresas.
El servicio de sala atento y rápido pero le faltaba un poco de instrucción o control; no recogían por la izquierda y servían por la derecha sino que se situaban en un extremo de la mesa y repartían a donde su brazo llegaba (un pelo más y nos vamos pasando los platos nosotros…). Apilaban platos al retirarlos. Es un comentario y no una queja pues, al precio del restaurante, no se le puede exigir una atención de mucho más nivel pero son cosas que cuestan poco y …
En general es un buen sitio para comer a un precio razonable, raciones generosas y ambiente agradable. Repitiremos.

I loved this place! 5 starsin all respects: food, décor, service. It was amazing. I ordered this fabulous tuna steak, the perfect size. It was delicious. If I go back to spain, I would love to return to this restaurant.

Wunderbares Lokal. Das zweite Mal hier gewesen nach 6 Jahren. Immernoch phantastisches Essen zu einem sehr guten Preis-​Leistungs-​Verhältnis. Sehr schönes Ambiente im Kolonialstil und ein freundlicher, unaufdringlicher, klassischer Service. Hervorragende Weinkarte! Besonders empfehlenswert die Reispfanne im Senyor Partellada Stil, die Gambas Barcelonetta und das ZimteisDennoch für jeden Geschmack was dabei.

After a long day of walking, this restaurant offered just the cozy, classy atmosphere that we needed for a warm, relaxing dinner.
We waited in line for about 20 minutes to get a table, but it was well worth the wait. Everything we ate was delicious. My husband had a tuna steak, and I had the canneloni. For dessert, I had the crème catalan, which set the standard for us for the rest of our trip around Spain.
The décor is cozy, with great lighting, warm colours, and a mix of styles that makes anyone (of all ages) feel welcome.
Definitely recommend!

¡Sí Senyor, Senyor Parellada! Cuando alguien viene a Barcelona por primera vez y pregunta aquello de:
— ¿Algún lugar donde ir a comer cocina catalana?-
Sin dudar, siempre aconsejo «El Senyor Parellada». Un buen restaurante, tradicional, donde se come buena cocina catalana. Calidad-​precio altamente recomendado.
Un pequeño consejo; es tradición en el «Senyor Parellada» que en el aperitivo te sirvan un estupendo cucurucho (de papel) con olivas negras (las llaman de Aragón) que son arrugadas, largas y muy negras. Y muy ricas. Tienen un pequeño problema, es un problemilla que a mi SIEMPRE me pasa. Me encantan las olivas negras… pero luego me quedan pedacitos negro entre los dientes. SIEMPRE. Aargggh. Y cuando has quedado con alguien a quien quieres resultar interesante, no es nada agradable parecer el «Pozí» a media comida. Y es que tu no te ves, pero el otro/​otra SÍ.
Ahí queda dicho. Para todo lo demás… Senyor Parellada.

Antoni Gutiérrez Díaz, fue un histórico dirigente del PSUC y, más adelante, activo eurodiputado. Hombre sencillo y afable, tenía una debilidad: comer bien. Y como el Senyor Parellada le pillaba cerca de la sede del partido, iba a menudo. Tanto, que hasta le dedicaron un plato. El «platillo d’en Guti». Pies de cerdo con merluza. No es que sea el plato de la carta que más me gusta, pero debo reconocer que original es.
Prefiero los «macarrones de la Fonda Europa» (que también es de la familia Parellada, pero está en Granollers. La fonda, digo) o los galets rellenos, que solo por la santa paciencia que debe tener quien lo hace ya merecen todo mi respeto y consideración.
En general es un restaurante a tener en cuenta. De calidad y a un precio asequible. Y es que la máxima del local es: que se pueda venir a cenar sin pensárselo. Y así es.

Ramon Parellada es, sin lugar a dudas, uno de los restauradores catalanes más brillantes. Heredero de la familia más restauradores más antigua de Catalunya regente varios locales, entre ellos, el Senyor Parellada, en el corazón del Born. Se trata de un local de estilo colonial, muy amplio (dos plantas) y con una decoración y una iluminación (uno de los detalles que más les gusta cuidar) francamente bonitas. El Senyor Parellada es garantía de una relación calidad precio realmente buena y de una selección de platos (y una carta de vinos) que rescata la cocina tradicional de la abuela con algunos toques de la cocina moderna y más creativa. Además de la carta (no hay menús), los camareros –atentos siempre– presentan a diario algunas propuestas fuera de la carta y es que el producto fresco protagoniza la cocina. Un imprescindible en Barcelona, sin duda alguna.

A very nice restauant with a variety of typical Spanish food. Prices are very good and the atmosphere is very special and unique. We love to go there and every time we are in Barcelona we never miss this restaurant.

Efficace
Incontestablement le spécialiste de la vraie cuisine catalane. Donc cuisine plutôt simple et traditionnelle, mais bonne. Service efficace, même si le tout fait parfois un peu usine. Malgré la grande taille de l’établissement, il est souvent complet, donc pensez à réserver au moins 24h avant. Par rapport à d’autres avis, je n’ai pas trouvé les prix particulièrement avantageux, mais normaux pour la réputation et l’emplacement de ce restaurant.

Das am Hotel Banys Orientals angeschlossene Restaurant «Senyor Parellada» ist eine echte Empfehlung, wenn man traditionelle katalanische Küche im modernen Stil kennenlernen will.
Die Atmosphäre ist wunderschön, ein Teil der Sitzplätze sind übergangslos im überdachten Innenhof des Gebäudes integriert, ein anderer Teil befindet sich auf der Galerie darüber. Die Einrichtung ist ursprünglich, puristisch und stilsicher und wird besonders abends sehr schön beleuchtet.
Die Gerichte werden teilweise witzig serviert, mein fritiertes Gemüse wurde aus einer schlichten Papiertüte auf den Teller geschüttet, auch die Oliven und das Brot auf dem Tisch durfte man erst selbst auspacken. Das Essen war insgesamt sehr gut und der Service perfekt, stets zur Stelle und außerordentlich freundlich.
Trotz vollbesetztem Lokal kommt man hier mitten im Trubel Barcelonas abends wunderbar zur Ruhe. Eine Reservierung ist unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Este es otro de los restaurantes en los que hemos comido este fin de semana en Barcelona.
La ubicación es céntrica, cerca de la plaza Jaume I, de la famosa iglesia del Mar
El local es muy bonito, tiene una decoración antigua pero con gusto, con colores suaves pero llamativos, el comedor se alza en dos pisos y entre ellos hay un bonito patio cerrado.
Nada más sentarnos encontramos un cucurucho con olivas y los panecillos envueltos en papel sobre la mesa, con lo cual el picoteo es inmediato. La carta es larga y apetitosa, con platos muy de la zona catalana. Lo que nosotros elegimos fueron, para compartir entre los tres, unos calamares a la romana con salsa romescu y una xatonada de vilanova (yo no la conocía, es una ensalada de escarola con bacalao, anchoas con una salsa riquísima y acompañada de una mini-​tortilla deliciosa). Como plato principal pedimos un arroz del senyor parellada para los 3. Bien cocinado, con rape, bacalao, butifarra mmmm ah! y abundantísimo. Yo no pude terminar mi parte!
En la carta había otras delicias de las que recuerdo cucurucho de verduras, escalibada, exqueisada, arroces de distintos tipos, huevos con patatas, croquetas, butifarra, bacalao todo lo que vimos que servían tenía muy buena pinta.
Aunque yo ya estaba más que satisfecha me dejé convencer por mi amigo para probar un postre que me encantó: semifrío de canela muy muy rico. Una especie de helado con crema catalana por encima con un sabor exquisito.
Por esto más dos cafés pagamos 26 euros por persona, pienso que muy bien pagados.
Por lo que dijo el amigo que nos acompañó y que lo frecuenta es recomendable reservar. De hecho, nosotros fuimos sin reserva y tuvimos que esperar un buen rato a que se desalojase una mes.
Creo que no será la última vez que visite este lugar. Eso lo dice todo!

Une très bonne adresse
Un très bon restaurant qui offre un rapport qualité/​prix exceptionnel. Le lieu est feutré, l’ambiance chaleureuse et très agréable. Le service est très sympathique car même si la carte est traduite en anglais et en français, les serveurs sont attentifs à vos questions et vous conseillent. La cuisine catalane est mise en valeur par une cuisine raffinée, soignée et bien présentée. Au cours de la semaine, nous étions deux et avons déjeuner et dîner une fois: ces deux visites avec des plats très divers et tous délicieux ont été très agréables. L’adresse est très fréquentée et même si les clients qui n’ont pas réservé font la queue à l’entrée, le service n’est pas précipité et vous avez tout votre temps pour passer un agréable moment. Les prix sont très raisonnables pour la qualité de la cuisine et du service… bref un endroit à découvrir absolument si vous séjournez à Barcelone. Le restaurant est également fréquenté par des barcelonais et c’est un signe de la qualité du lieu.

Besides the already mentioned Hotel Banys Oriental, I am also in favour for the attached Restaurant Senyor Parellada.
Fantastic Food, focussing on catalan aspects and avoiding molecular trends. The quality of the ingredients and sophisticated combinations is what this restaurant stands for.
They have so called evergreens on the menu, which are served since the 90ties and are very excellent.
I am always amazed about the low prices for excellent wine in this restaurant. Pricing for the food is considering the quality, the excellent services and the famous ambiance also surprising.
Reservations need to be done quite early, but as a hotel guest you will probably always get a table.

Il s’agit vraiment d’une adresse magnifique à laquelle je me rends à chaque visite à Barcelone. L’ambiance est agréagle, le cadre très beau et le service sympathique. Je né parle pas des prix qui sont plus qu’abordables et surtout de l’ambiance catalane qui y règne. Un endroit à recommander pour un dîner quel que soit l’objet. Courrez-​y vite.
