Let me begin by saying I love Rosas. I grew up in West Texas where Rosas has been around forever. I will drive hours to eat at one. This Rosas had the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a Rosas. We were not greeted and the food was lacking. I was very disappointed that I drove two hours for mediocre food and terrible service. I hope it isn’t like this all the time.

We’re regulars here. Always fast, fresh and friendly. We’ve never had a complaint.

One of the things I have missed since moving to Northeast Texas in August 2014 has been visiting Rosa’s. This place was great for a road-trip stopover driving from Athens to Midland. I don’t think it has ever been too crowded or too busy whenever we’ve stopped by. The restrooms are nice & well-maintained, with multiple stalls. I usually like to order either the enchilada dinner, or a bean & guacamole tostada, or bean burrito. Those have always been my vegetarian-friendly go-to menu items. I always wondered though, if Rosa’s would ever consider offering black beans as an option(instead of just refried beans). Of course I love their tortillas! But I love coming to this Rosa’s, & hope to check in here again on future road trips!

I wish they would have told me beans were auto magically going to be on the chicken nachos. I personally don’t like beans and it was a disappointment to find them on my nachos. I had to toss it. Also I only ordered the nachos because they didn’t have quesadillas. A tortilla factory that doesn’t make quesadillas… makes a lot of sense.

Taco Tuesday is the best and busiest day to come! You can get 3 tacos(soft or hard), beans, rice, and tortillas for 4 dollars! The beans taste fake, so I often opt out for them and they do not have black beans. The service is beyond fast. Not authentic Mexican food, but way better than Taco Bell

I don’t understand how 2 beef fajita taco salads with one side of queso cost 21 dollars. And they only give you 4 slices of meat. And their enchiladas taste like TV dinners. Not impressed.

Not what I thought it was going to be. The food was cold and hard and gross. The only good thing was the tea and tortias. Maybe earlier in the day the food is good but if you want authentic Mexican keep on going.

Chicken enchiladas are GREAT!!! And a great price!!! However, when I became a vegetarian they were very unfriendly and not accommodating. Cashier seemed annoyed for me requesting a veggie taco. I ended up getting a tortilla filled with guacamole. What the heck? Went back up and Asked the staff for a small container of veggies and they got it for me so it wasn’t completely hopeless. Salsa bar is great! Don’t like when I have to buy chips at a mex place.(Spoiled like that)

Food here is good. I usually get the 3 taco plate. It never takes very long to get your food. Also, like the hot sauce bar. It’s a good place to eat if you want a quick Mexican meal. They have a toco plate special on Tuesdays.

Being close to campus Rosa’s is a practical option time, price, and proximity wise. Rosa’s is known for Taco Tuesday and the deals they have. On Tuesdays for about $ 4 you can get a taco plate(chicken or beef) 3 tortillas, rice, and beans. Definitely not a bad idea when trying to save money. Where they make their money from is charging you a tad under $ 2 for a drink. All the more reason to drink water. The food isn’t the best I’ve had, but I think its a good deal for the price. The beef fajita plate is of noticeable better quality, but at $ 10 its on the expensive side. For all the college students out there there are 2 college discount options any day of the week!(bring your College ID) 1– 10% off your meal or 2– A free bean and cheese burrito Usually when going for taco Tuesday I don’t intend to eat 3 tacos and a burrito so I ask for 10% off. Side Notes: Its pretty packed on Taco Tuesday so keep that in mind. Your ticket # is displayed on a screen when your food is ready to pick up.

Stopped in for lunch passing through on I-20. It is a couple of miles of the interstate but worth the trip. Service was fast and food great at a good price.

Nobody both to describe this place correctly. I thought it was a sit down Mexican restaurant where you ordered freshly prepared food orders. This is nothing but a little nicer Taco Bell. Not impressed won’t be back.

I really like the food here, beef fajita plate is my favorite and the chicken enchiladas are next favorite. They have wonderful roasted jalapeños that they put one on each plate of food, I always order extra ones.

Not bad, but nothing special. Pretty bad service. I went back to get the chips that were missing and it took 5 minutes. This was after the manager yelled at someone to get them.

The tortillas at Rosa’s should definitely get a 5. Not to mention the spectator sport of watching the tortilla machine.(Me and a six year old both mesmerized by it– tells you the kind of person I am!) I had the guacamole tostada with beans. It tasted fresh and good and hit the spot. My wife had the chicken carbon which was OK. The chicken was not grilled and hence a little soggy.(They claimed it was fajita chicken.) The salsa bar was excellent. Lots of different condiments to try(and I did, going back multiple times!) The chile de arbol was advertised as caliente and had bite, but was not super spicy. We finished it off with sopapillas which were not fried, soft and ‘pillowy’ as the name implies. The tables cam with honey bears that you squeeze all over the delicious treats and eat. The décor was like Disneyland(disneymundo?) and over the top Mexican tchotchkes all over the place! Not bad though, just a lot of it. The restaurant is not full service. You order your food at the counter and are given a number. When the food comes, you go pick it up and find a table. Overall not a bad experience.
