Don’t you ever, ever order anything out of the ordinary after hours. Especially not the lengua burrito, unless you like mostly salt in your tortilla. I ordered it with beans and the entire staff seemed confused, so they opted to give me a regular lengua burrito with extra salt, tacet the beans. Not cool, Taco C, not cool!

This location is outstanding. All four location are now under the same management and the food shows it. Every location is clean, friendly, fresh and fast. They are even opening another location in Rio Rancho soon. I can’t wait for that. Late April, early May 2016 is what I’ve heard.

A long overdue review for Taco Cabana. I have been coming here for a long while and they have always satisfied. Other than a few order mishaps they have always been courteous, fast, and the food delicious. The food always come out hot and fresh and I have got many people hooked on this place just as much as myself. The steak fajitas tacos are as good as it gets. The meat is always tender and seasoned to perfection. The street tacos they have beat out the street tacos that have become so popular amongst food trucks. Do a food chain they rank among the best in my head.

My friend went to this Taco Cabana tonight, and this is what happened, per her words: «Such a sad day when you buy a meal for someone who is homeless and hungry. Then watch the employees harass him as he tries to get fixins from the self serve fixins because they are unaware he actually has food from their establishment. When he points to his table with the meal they proceed to gripe, complain, and shoot me dirty looks behind the register because I bought him a meal. Smh what is wrong with people.» To the staff at Taco Cabana working tonights shift(11÷17÷18), shame on you! I hope management sees this and does something about it.

Street tacos… OMG. Divine. While I’m still inherently loyal to Del Taco(for their fries mainly, I admit), I am inspired by the Cabana’s street tacos. And let’s not forget, their queso and chips with a combo… again, OMG. Great combo of spices, crunch, creamy… all in one, very reasonably priced combo. Place has always been clean and staff always pleasant… at every Cabana I’ve been to. And the ranch-salsa sauce and the rest of the salsa bar… purrrr-fectly divine.

This is my favorite place to eat, seriously! Food is fantastic and taste homemade. Tortillas are made daily and it’s super affordable. We eat here every weekend and never get tired of it! Amazing!

Not the most authentic tacos, more like another american-ized version of a good thing. My initial experience with Taco Cabana was during a drunken night of dancing and, well… drinking. I apparently could’t wait to get home that night before breaking into the to-go bag. I vowed to try them again when I was in a more sober state of mind. That day finally came and I was not disappointed. I must say for a mere buck and a half you can have a darn good taco with cheese that far out does the other taco place down the street that rhymes with Toxic Hell. I highly recommend the chicken soft taco. Be sure to order some extra sauce!

My family loves it here. There’s something for everyone and the food is alway fresh and excellent quality. The staff is always very polite and friendly. I have been a fan since living in Texas and was happy to discover a location so close to our new location here in Albuquerque. The 20% military discount is very generous. They advertise free wifi but in the past 7 months that I have been there I have not ever been able to connect to a network; not a huge complaint, though, I am not there for the free wifi. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious Tex-Mex cuisine.

I love taco cabana but this is the worst location I have ever been and its upsetting because it is the closest to my house. Every time I eat here(5+ times) I have to wait for at least 3 minutes before anyone even notices I have walked in. There even seems to be more than 5 people working on things that have nothing to do with customer service or food quality. The food is subpar, beans are watery with a very weird flavor, far different from any of the better locations. Tortillas I had on this visit were partially uncooked. Serious changes need to be made here. Staff and attitude.

My family loves Taco Cabana, the drive thru is quick, the staff is professional and the food is delicious. My son is very picky and loves the chicken tacos and the fresh hot tortillas! You can beat the 20% military discount!

I can’t believe this place only has 3 stars that seriously surprises me. My husband has raved about this place for years when ever he would come to Albuquerque for work he would eat here, in AZ we didn’t have these only taco bell which I refuse to eat yuk vile. We moved to Albuquerque a few weeks ago so naturally I had to give this place I try and I wasn’t disappointed. I ordered beef fajita taco things that came with chips and a drink and my husband ordered beef tacos and his came with beans and rice. We also ordered 2 bean and cheese burritos for our children but they easily could of shared one as they were huge. The salsa bar was well stocked and we loved the ranch they had it was different. There was plenty of eating space and the eating areas were clean and tidy. They do a military discount as others have mentioned which is a nice bonus. We will be back.

First time here today we went in to sit and eat. The service was excellent, the place was very clean and welcoming. The salsa bar was well stocked and clean. The food… OMG yum. My husband and I got the chicken soft taco combos with chips and guacamole. The tacos were super delicious. The tortillas are fresh. It cost around $ 10 for the both of us including drinks! :D

I arrived here and was greeted(or lack thereof) as I said hello to a man in a pink Taco Cabana polo(behind the counter). Of course I was displeased.(His name is Geraldo). Now for the good part. The staff thereafter was so polite! I loved their company, and they helped me order California style. They delivered fer sure! The food is delicious and the service is phenomenal. Thank you to Yuniel, Erica, and Carlos — you all did a phenomenal job and I greatly appreciate it!

One of the first places i went when I moved here. It’s 24 hours. Great tacos, breakfast burritos + fajitas. The best part has to be the salsa bar though. Quiet location with a small outdoor patio.

Not a big fan of the reduced menu. The street tacos were ok, but I find myself remembering my favorite items from the old menu.
