Loved this place! I have been trying to eat more healthy and so I tried the turkey burger. It was amazing! I’ve had them at different places and this is the only one that has ever made me crave it enough to go back. The onion rings were exceptional too! I don’t mind the seating and ordering separately, lots of places do something similar with giving you a number for your table. We put this on our list of favorites, and can’t wait to go back.

Burgers are big, fries are skinny. It’s not at the top of my list but it’s a good place to go if you have time to sit down and wait.

Popped in for lunch while on quick vacay to Dallas. I had a Liberty turkey burger with and the sweet potato fries. The burger was good. Fresh ingredients and a soft bun. Would definitely recommend if you haven’t tried them.

Poorly designed chicken sandwich. Within a minute, bread was soggy and it was no longer functional. They overload the sandwich with aioli and avacado, yet it doesn’t make up for the mess of unbalanced flavors. I told the employee about the issue. She said this was normal for their sandwich and that she always tells customers that«it is a fork and knife sandwich.» So, I asked for a fork and knife and carried on. Still, it is poorly thought out and probably best to just start over. Better yet, perhaps try the burgers instead. I’ve yet to as this was my first and, possibly, my last time here.

The food was decent, definitely not worth spending $ 46 and that didn’t include any alcohol. The Jackio was actually really good and I kind of regret not ordering it. The Liberty burger was good and just that. It wasn’t anything spectacular nor did it have anything that I would rave over, it was just a good burger. Sweet Potato fries were a little cold and the regular fries were those thin ones. Probably won’t be my first choice to return to.

Great first impression(Sep 2015). Came here based on reviews in various Collin County publications. You get a really big burger that you need to cut with knife. Many choices of meat(or veggie); turkey, lamb, bison, beef, tuna and many combinations of toppings. Too many choices and so little time. Courtesy and friendly service as you get a paper with a number on it which is your parties order nr. Even if everyone is paying separately. Go to the sign board and make a choice. I am told they bake their own buns. One order of fries for two people is more than enough considering the size of the burger. UPDATE May 2016: Return visit and we got the Liberty burger and one order of sweet potato fries. The fries were the best part and got another star added. Next time we need to try different menu items.

This is my second visit to the Liberty burger and I must say those burgers are sooooooo very good. They are very big and the meat is seasoned and juicy. I ordered a Nooner and let me tell you I also had a order of skinny fries with a strawberry shake. I was fat fat full. The next time I go back and yes there will be a next time I am just getting the burger. Very DELISH!!!

First visit I went traditional liberty burger and fries. That was an anything but boring choice! Burger was well seasoned, ropped, and delicious. Fries were perfectly crispy! I will definitely be back.

I gotta say, that was a «mighty tasty burger». I can’t believe I haven’t been here before. It was Saturday afternoon and we just finished our kids sports. I missed breakfast and was hungrier than a woodpecker with a headache! We arrived and grabbed a seat on the patio with our friends and our kids. Ordering is done via«wait in line order yourself», after talking to kids and getting them settled, the men went in and ordered while the wives and kids remained on the patio. Ordering was a blast and the way the line is setup, you can read the huge menu’s on the wall while waiting. The food looked so good I was getting excited just reading the menu. My friend that’s been here before was more excited than I was. You know it’s going to be a good burger when your buddy is super proud to be the person to bring you here first. His head was held high as he watched me salivate while reading the menu. He had lots of suggestions, but I wanted to be a rebel and order without suggestions. I ordered the Liberty Burger. My wife ordered the same. I had intentions on taking pictures and showing the world my wonderful food, but when it arrived, it looked so good I became a burger ninja; silent and engaged. When I had my first bite, I immediately quoted the famous Samuel Jackson and said«Mmmmmmm, this is a tasty burger». The burger was cooked to perfection and I felt like it was put together with the right amount of everything. Every item on the burger accentuated the other items on the burger. It wasn’t just a bite, it was an emotional experience. I want to write more about the food, so I gotta tell you, I also had a roasted stuffed pepper. Wow man, and I mean like super wow. I ate it last since I’ve had experiences with stuffed peppers at home in the past exploding and causing tongue damage that ruins meals. That’s never a good feeling… I cannot begin to explain how good the pepper was. I was full and still wished like I ordered another one. So to recap, the food was spectacular. It was like«I can’t wait to go back» spectactular. The service was awesome, everyone was friendly and seemed happy to have us there. The place was clean, including the patio. I feel like the staff makes an extra effort to keep the patio area cleaned up, this is important to me. What more can you ask for, especially this close to home. This is my favorite burger place in Allen without anything coming close to second!

I really love their burgers. I’ve now tried the baby Bella at their belt line location with bacon instead of the mushrooms and their chilrelleno burger. Both were great I love their white cheese queso on top of both kinds. I like the atmosphere of the belt line location. It’s odd that they close at 9pm on a Saturday but I guess it’s more of a lunch/early dinner place. I guess I usually just eat later than most. I would definitely recommend it. The one thing I’m not a huge fan of is their fries. The sweet potato ones are okay and their regular are shoe string fries. They could use some seasoning or something. I’ll probably be back depending how the boyfriend liked it I’m not sure.

The four stars is only because of the price. Yes, my burger was amazing and what dreams are made of, but a $ 30+ lunch for 2 burgers, cokes, & fries(and that doesn’t even include a tip since it’s not full service) is a little pricey. I’ll definitely be back because my Drunken Cowboy burger was outstanding, but I’m not going to be a regular because of the price for a counter-style setup.

This is my burger place. There is nothing I don’t like about this joint. It’s clean, fresh, organized well, has great options and good music.

We tried liberty burger couple of years back in the addison location and enjoyed it. Wanted to give allen location a shot. We ordered wild west, woodstock and chilerno. All the burgers tasted exceptional great. Will come back to this place for next burger fix.

We tried this place around noon on a Sunday and it wasn’t too busy. I’ll agree with the other reviewers that it is a little odd that there is a hostess and a bar you can sit at, yet you order(and pay) at a counter. But whatever, I’m here to eat. I got the Chillerno and she got the Baby Bella. I’d skip the Chillerno next time, there are too many things going on to really taste any one thing, but it was still good. However, the BABYBELLA… if you are a mushroom fan, you must get this. Although the Baby Bella was one of those that was too messy to pick up and put down more than a few times, it was still awesome. Like, I cleaned the plate with fries kind of awesome. I liked that the patty(we both did beef) was on the average side, vs the most enormous piece of ground beef you’ve ever encountered. But I thought the buns were what really made the burger; they are very fresh, puffy and grilled. Skinny fries were just OK; we shared one order and were so full that we didn’t even finish them.

Wife and I have heard good things about Liberty Burger so finally decided to give it a shot. We sat at the bar and a waitress kept ducking in there to help us. I ordered a beer(on tap) and got it very quickly unlike one reviewer below. We ordered some«torches» which are deep-fried diced bacon and queso filled jalapeños. While good, the breading and queso completely masks any jalapeño flavor. And the queso just pours out, much more than a cream cheese would in a traditional stuffed jalapeño. I ordered the Chillerno burger which has queso, roasted poblano peppers, and chipotle bbq sauce. I also added bacon. The burger patty itself was amazing, very well sized and seasoned. Again though, the various flavors masked the poblano peppers so they did nothing but add a little texture. And the chipotle bbq sauce, like the chipotle ketchup, was lacking the chipotle flavor. Perhaps these guys just don’t know how to work with peppers… My wife got the namesake Liberty burger and enjoyed it. She also got the shoestring fries which were boring to say the least. I had a side of sweet potato fries which were average. They do have a hint of sugar on them so they have a little extra sweetness. Definitely not the best burger like some people claim but it is a good burger. I’ll come back to try the«Nooner,» a burger with ham, bacon, hash browns, and egg on it. Oh, and the weirdest thing– after sitting at the bar and having this waitress wait on us, when we got the bill and paid there is no line to tip.

This place is mediocre at best. Just your average burger. I got the Libertine burger(arugula, avocado, mustard, onions, tomato, turkey patty, multi-grain bun). The burger was satisfying, but nothing too special. Judging by the demographic in there, it’s a good spot if you want to feed the family on a busy night!

Place is OK. Went there with co-workers, and they have to ring us all up, put us under one number, then split the check(so 8 people have to wait for the last person before they can pay???) Also, they offer to switch the hamburger to a bunch of different things(tofu, turkey, chicken, lamb… or whatever)… so I ask how the lamb is, and am told really good. Ao, I ask for it. Then I find out my bigger will now be $ 14.50… really??? $ 4 upcharge for lamb… they probably want to say that. All in, underimpressed. Hamburger was tasty, but both times I’ve gone they’ve been overcooked. Too many burger places to come back here.

My youngest son has been telling me to come here for past couple of years-I guess I am getting old and didn’t hear him b/c today I thought I had found a great find to tell him about-oh well, at least I finally got here. I had the Libertarian-will order again Hubby had the wildest and it disappeared before immediately We shared the torches-OMG, I could eat those everyday-So super hot & yummo. Wish this location was closer to my home-but we will be back no doubt. Next time I will listen better to my kiddos:) Enjoy!

Um What? I’m so confused? Is it fast food… is it full service? This is the worst configuration for a restaurant EVER! We walk in to find a friendly hostess. She asks if we would like a table or a booth. So of course I think it’s a full service restaurant. We said we don’t care so she assigns us a table, gives us a table number, and tells us to proceed to the register to place our order. What? We are assigned a table at a non-waitress establishment? At restaurants they assign tables so servers don’t get too many tables at once and also so guests are evenly distributed among the servers. I can’t for the life of me figure out why Liberty Burger dictates where its patrons sit. We then walked over to the cash register to place our order like you would at any fast food restaurant I ordered at Michelob Ultra. I was asked if I wanted a cold glass and I said yes. After we placed our order, I sat down at our assigned table, and a cold glass was set down in front of me with no Mich Ult? I had to ask two different employees for it. Then they kept asking other associates about it as if I was lying? My beer never came until I was half way through with my burger. So, the moral to this story is… don’t order a beer with your burger. It will take FOREVER to come! It will also make you question your sanity if you did actually place a drink order, but that’s right… I had the receipt to prove it! I had the South of the burger. It was a burger with avocados, black beans, tortilla strips, and I subbed queso instead of cheddar. I also had a side of sweet potatoes. Both were good. The hubby had the Liberty Burger with onion rings. The onion rings had an awesome batter on them. They were very tasty. So over all, I will take my money to a full service establishment to ensure I receive a beverage with my meal. This set up is way too weird for me!

After hearing so much about Liberty Burger, I finally made it in off-hours, around 4:15PM. I phoned in an order from the road, and it was ready when I got there. What I really wanted was a burger with chili, but sadly, they don’t have chili. My second choice turned out to be a Wild West with an added fried egg, and a «Torch», their version of the venerable stuffed jalapeño. When I got home, I first sampled the jalapeño. It was huge, with a nice, crispy batter. It’s definitely the«full heat» variety, and while tasty, it wasn’t as «well stuffed» as I’d hoped. The ground meat and bacon were minimal, but the queso was there and it was good. A nice starter, but would be better with more meat. The burger featured a very nice bun, great taste and texture. My request of «pink» meat was honored to the letter. The bacon was crispy and delicious, and that fried egg had a slightly loose yolk that didn’t run all over the place. Veggies were crisp, and the BBQ sauce was flavorful. This was a really nice burger. There are several other burgers that I want to try, so I’ll be back for sure.
