Air Force guys, do yourself a favor while you’re at Altus and make an appointment with Scott. Great man, awesome barber. Cheap but sharp cuts, straight razor to finish it off. I guess I’ll spread the word about him now that I’ve left Altus, but I’ll definitely be back next time I roll through!

Ahead of times has moved. Gene is in the same spot, JC Penny mall. Scott has moved to the strip mall across from Bunker hill. I dont know what Gene is now calling his place but Scott still works for Ahead of Times. Both of course are still outstanding Barbers.

The barber is quiet, but makes sweet sweet love to your hair. The razor finish provides a perfect touch in the end. Highly recommend if you aren’t too lazy to drive off base.

Good for those who prefer a barber shop atmosphere instead of a stylist one. The guys are friendly but won’t chat your ear off if you don’t feel like talking much and give a great haircut.
