I called in and got hung up on twice. The third time I called in at 9:30 on a Tuesday night to order a pizza and they said they were too busy to deliver. I’m not sure what I’m missing, but usually pizza places will tell me there will be a wait, but for a place to refuse to deliver altogether when they hold themselves out as a pizza delivery place? That just makes no sense to me. I travel often to Alaska for work, and this joint has lost a potentially recurring customer forever because they clearly don’t want my business, and I presume they don’t want the business of many others as well. And kudos to them for that — if they don’t want new customers, then more power to them.

I ordered delivery at 9pm on a Tuesday night during a stayover in Anchorage. I had no problem understanding them and placing the order. They delivered not a minute later than they said they would. I had the veggie burger and husband had gyro — both were great. No complaints here!

Ugh so much disappointment. First I start by saying the only reason I give two stars is I am pregnant and the pizza didn’t give me food poisoning from lack of being cooked thoroughly. 1. The place is owned by Foriegners, while in thier own right isn’t bad but they have problems speaking English hampering thier ability to effectively take orders(noted in other reviews) 2. They are short and rude if you speak English at a normal speed and get pissy that they need you to repeat what you said when they were the ones with problems communicating(again noted in other reviews) 3. They have false advertising on thier site menu. It says buy 1 specialty pizza get a medium for 7.99 or large for 9.99 she threw a fit when I requested that special saying they don’t offer it anymore and haven’t for years. I remained patient and said okay even through her huff. 4. My husband asked for his change back when paying and the woman tried to keep his change($ 13.02 on a $ 26.98 order for two medium pizzas) and got pissy when she had to fork over the bills and pennies. We did not tip but would have. 5. The sauce was not at all appetizing with zero flavor. The pizza toppings literally fell off in huge messy nasty heap when trying to pull off a slice, God forbid trying to eat it, and even if you were to eat the pizza like a new Yorker(taco style) you would end up with all of the toppings down your shirt or one bite and it’s all hanging out of your mouth in a nasty way desperately needing napkins. As a new yorkers grandchild and a new Jersey guys kid I love a good slice but this is ridiculous. I felt like a 3 year old trying to eat. It’s one thing to have a nice cheesy pizza but the crust is so thin it barely holds the weight of the toppings and the cheese, sauce, and toppings on both our pizza pretty much slid off like the pizza was made of slip n slide material. NEVERAGAIN. I had hoped I might find somewhere locally owned that isn’t dominos, sicilys, etc but this was a total and complete bust.

Had a Meat Lovers pizza which was a little burnt on the edge. The meat and cheese was OK. But it was too salty for me!!! Business hour was different from their advertisements. Chairs were dirty.

Was tired of Mooses Tooth, taking pizza’s home from Papa Murph’s, and wanted something different so searched articles and found a number of them pointed to Capri. Did a drive by — yup — not much to look at, no seating other than a couple of folding chairs to use while waiting but today I made the call at 1230. The owner was businesslike, understood my order, and a 20 minute wait was the promise. I arrived after 15 minutes with my pizza in the oven and it was ready in 5 minutes as promised. Ordered a medium Shish Kebab and it was delicious, especially the fresh cilantro, just the right amount of jalapenos, nice sprinkling of black olives, delicious meat, and plenty of cheese. I like a pizza that is to hot to eat when you get it rather than warmish or worse. If you want to support locals, this is it as both Mom and Pop were in the house. English obviously not their first language but they know how to make a good pie, especially if you like cheese. Great spot to remember if you’re heading to or from the airport.

Great food! I love the gyros, fries, pizza and onion bread. A good family business with great customer service. I usually order a gyro and fries for pickup. Chicken wings are also delicious. I have had the pizza a few times and never been disappointed.

For an American style pizza, this is pretty good! Lots of toppings, good price.

Love this place! The garlic chicken pizza is sooooo good! I’ve always had friendly service and i love that it’s family owned. It’s right across the street from the puffin in hotel which makes it a convenient spot for me as I am travelling when i come here. Everything aside… that garlic chicken pizza tho…

I’ve had pizza takeout twice, and was thoroughly pleased both times. I don’t know what the other reviewers are complaining about with regards to ordering; the owners are always courteous and it’s a pinch to order. The place itself is small; enough space for you to pace or view a menu – it’s not a sit-down. The pizza dough is nice and fluffy, but lacks that nauseating-in-large-quantities chewy consistency you find in a Costco pizza. A little crisp on the outside and compliments your toppings marvelously. I’ve had the cheese, garlic chicken, and personal favorite, the«sheish kabob.» I would pass on the garlic chicken; a little too rich for me. That kabob one, though, well worth a try! Cilantro and tomato balance out the heaviness of cheese and meat, making for an excellent pie.

The pizza is very different and the spices they use in their crust are very pleasant. However the owners are so rude. We ordered from here three different times and every time they were so rude. Especially when they deliver and they don’t speak to you when you open the door. I said hello and he just stared at me. So rude, I liked the pizza but I will never order from here again. Service is everything to me and can ruin even the best food. Will not eat here ever again.

They cannot speak English… called and asked about their philly and the dude said no thanks and hangs up on me… wtf. Ordered wings in store another time and they short me on the number of wings I got… I explained it to the lady and she didn’t even care that they did that. Decent food, horrible people and service. Go somewhere else.

We ordered the Greek meat pizza. Good flavor. Loved the cilantro & feta. Took a while to get it but worth the wait.

I understand this is a family owned business but it wouldn’t hurt to hire someone just to answer the phone, someone who speaks fluent clear English. I had to constantly repeat all my information. By the end of the call I chose not to pay by card because I knew it would be a struggle. Now to the food– if you like lots and lots of gooey cheese on your pizza then this is the perfect place for you. It also had an Indian taste to it which I wasn’t a fan of. Maybe I’ll give them another try one night and mention light on the cheese and also order the breadsticks everyone is talking about.

Tried to call in an order and it was impossible to even communicate with the guy. After being on hold and then him coming back on line still being rude I simply told him I’d be ordering somewhere else. Horrible.

Best pizza in Alaska! We are always ordering this pizza for lunch at work! The MAMAMIA hits the spot. We order the buffalo winsgs too and they are always baked, never grilled. The meat falls off the bone and right into your mouth. This pizza is amazing

I live just a few blocks away from here but had never ordered from here before. After a long day, I was throwing in the towel and ordering a pizza. I read other reviews on Unilocal for pizza delivery nearby and debated between this establishment and another pizza place but decided to take the plunge. I ordered the veggie pizza and the capri breadsticks. The service was fine, but the food was nothing spectacular. My pizza tasted vaguely of Indian curry. The crust was nothing special, I felt it was too thin, or they overloaded the ingredients, so it was rather soggy and fell apart as I tried to eat a piece. The bread sticks were okay, nothing special about them either. The marinara sauce that came with was a bit watery and lacked any distinctive flavor. I’ll probably try them out one more time just to see if it was an off night, but I wasn’t very impressed.

I was recently introduced to Capri pizza and now will never order from anywhere else. The ingredients are REAL! It may take a while for it to be delivered but that is most likely because they are chopping the veggies to order-it’s THAT fresh. They are open until 2am, so I urge you to give them a try instead of the default, Sicily’s.
