Heard they offer korean style table cooking here. Wanted to try but up for sale. This use to be a good place to go but has seemed to change hands quite a bit… who knows. Maybe it’s next owners will bring justice to this location…

This place is alright. I went here for lunch and got bulgogi. There was nothing remarkable about it, but nothing negative about it either. Interior is plain and simple, I was the only one in the restaurant. Judging by the other reviews, there seems to be a lot more going on at dinner. Maybe I’ll come back.

A shining example of authentic Korean table cooking. Excellent Bugolgi and kalbib. Wasn’t super crazy about the pork belly. All the veggies are fresh and sauces are flavorful. The sushi is well done and large enough to share with the table as an appetizer. I would eat here daily if my bank account would allow for it. Really, try it. House mamma might even come out and help cook at your table if you’re nice.

I’ve been here multiple time since their openning, and have had a great experience every time. It’s true, the people that work here don’t speak English as their primary language, but I think it adds to the atmosphere. The servers have been polite and were on point about filling up our waters. Love the rolls here, and the tempura udon is one of the few places in town that doesn’t make my joints swell after I eat it. Come to find out, from the owner who comes out to talk with all the customers when the kitchen slows down, she is so allergic to MSG she won’t even have it in the kitchen. She also makes hrr own miso for the miso soup. We did the table cooking a few times & that’s fun for a group of people. Guaranteed to take food home with you, too. The Korean appetizers are simply packed with flavor. The homemade kimchee has a tang to it that’s addictive.

I’m a long time fan of the current owner of Rose’s. The current owner has been renovating the space after pipes burst when the last operator left the heat off last winter. I hear there will be a grand opening celebration soon, and I can’t wait! In the meantime, even with some growing pains as they get the restaurant gets up and running, the food is great! The restaurant is large enough that it’s nice and quiet, even when busy. We’ve had parties as large as 20 people there, comfortably. With this installation of Rose’s 99 Sushi(formerly the location was known as Tempura Kitchen), we have been twice to eat in the last month. First for sushi, and today for Korean bbq. First thing to know: they do NOT use MSG in anything! This is my number one reason to love them. They make their own Miso soup as well, which I adore. The sushi was good, with fresh ingredients and plentiful servings. I’m including photos for my spider roll. So yummy! Today, we had Bul Go Ki(korean beef bbq), and it was incredible! First, the server was so helpful in making sure the we knew how to cook on the table, and adjust the heat. The portion sizes were huge and came with a variety of items to eat with it(seaweed salad, hijiki, red bean paste made in house, sprouts, etc). I have always loved the korean food here and will continue to come back. I wish I had taken photos of the food for you, but I was too busy eating it! I want to address the first bad review about Rose’s. Yes, the staff are not native English speakers, however, I have NEVER had a problem with communicating with any of them. And again, I think that any issue that might have happened is the typical opening growing pains that every restaurant has. Don’t let bad reviews stop you from trying Rose’s. It’s worth the trip to at least try it and see what you think. They are in the reopening phase. I expect great things to come. :)

This is my first time here. And it hasn’t been a pleasant experience at all. To start off the workers here do not understand English very well at all. When I asked if I could have salmon sashimi they looked so confused(waitress & sushi bar maker) which was surprising to me that they didn’t know what that was??? I have never been to a sushi restaurant and they didn’t have or know what sashimi is… so I looked at the woman behind the bar making the sushi and said its just the fish no rice, and after going back and forth so she could understand she still gave me nigiri then I ordered a Cali roll with no avocado or cucumber. So when I saw her start to make it behind the bar with avao & cuc I asked if that was mine and she said yes so I told her with neither of those just the crab please & the waitress said oops I forgot to tell you that and after I thought they understood no cucumber or avocado she still proceeded to put them in the roll. Wtf. Will not be revisiting.
