Believe this is one of the two sonic diners in CA, the other being in oroville. Been to both, and this one is the best. Food and shakes are decent for a place in the middle of nowhere with workers who obviously hate their jobs.

Very disappointed in the drop of customer service from Sonic. The employees have changed and the new ones just don’t care. When you ask for management you are given a non management person and an excuse. We were asked if we wanted our change and that kind of shocked me. It is my change why wouldn’t I want it. The staff does not know how to count change back and I am not talking about the high school students but the adults who work here. The do have good diet green tea but it isn’t enough to keep you coming back after horrible customer service and being lied to about who is and isn’t the manager.

Stopped by on our way through town. Food was ok, delivered quickly. Bathrooms were disgusting, had not been cleaned in a week! We will not be stopping here again.

I ordered a cookie dough/brownie master blast & I found shreds of what looked like red string. When I tried calling to get money credited back on the card it was purchased with, the line was busy… for an hour. Needless to say, I did not eat the blast & I will not be returning to this location.

Horrible job tonight! We ordered 2 Banana splits in drive through, waited quite a while and when we got them they were dripping ice cream and completely melted. If I wanted to drink melted ice cream I would have ordered a milk shake. The service was not that great. You can see servers texting instead of working through the window, talking to the girl holding our melting sundaes. Nope. I won’t go back, a few months ago I asked for a bigger without a bun.(Food allergies) they gave me a plain over cooked burger on a bed of shredded lettuce, and nothing else, no condiments, just a dry nasty burger and lettuce and charged me full price. Nope… Not worth it. I live down the street i’d rather drive across town.

Sonic sells ice! You can get a big bag of their fluffy crunchable ice for $ 1.69!!! We stopped by on our roadtrip up to Mt. Lassen and fillled up on tator tots and yummy drinks. Strawberry limeade FTW! Staff was friendly and service was prompt through the drive through!

It’s sonic, so that’s great… BUT this is the worst sonic I’ve ever been to. When my husband and I were stationed in Nebraska that was THEBEST sonic I have ever had, and Roseville ’ s is a great second. This one sadly doesn’t compare to any of the many sonics’ I’ve been to.

Great food and great service. We wanted to take a break from oour car from a long drive and ate on the patio. The food was there within 2 minutes and it was tasty. My daughter dropped her corn dog and they brought her a new one free of charge, then her clumsy dad(me) dropped my shake. They brought me a new one with a smile on their face. It was my first time eating at sonic and i would defiantly go back.

My first time going to this place and the last. We placed our order through the intercom which kept cutting out. While I’m waiting I go to use the washroom and you could tell it had recently flooded with sewage and the 15 kids that work there couldn’t take the time to clean it… yup i used it regardless cause I had to go. I get back and we already had our food and they forgot ketchup so i run in to ask for some and the kid on the microphone gives me attitude and tells me to wait… two minutes go by and im getting angry cause my food is getting cold. This nice girl rolls over in skates and helps me out. Ok great, so i run back to the truck to find out that they got all of our drinks wrong so now im really fuming. A young guy named Tim was quick and apologetic to fix the error so i could go back and eat my cold meal that his coworkers screwed up. Thanks Sonic, never again!

During a recent road trip, I had to stop here because I’ve seen Sonic commercials on TV for years but never actually seen a Sonic! So when we saw one around lunch time, we decided to stop. It was a pretty cool experience for someone who had never been to one before. You drive up to a station and park and place your order. Someone on roller skates brings your food out to your car! I thought that was kind of cool, and the food tasted a little better than your typical fast food. It was a little overpriced. It was nice to be lazy and not have to get out of the car, and also not have to wait in a drive-through line. When we were eating, another employee came out to our car to ask if we’d like any more napkins or try any other sauces. The customer service seemed pretty good!

Though 95% of the young ladies who make up 98% of the work crew are usually nice, the lack of experience does hinder things. The food is lacking from all other Sonics I’ve been to, and it’s a real shame whoever owns it isn’t doing way more to really have a knock out Sonic.

Have you ever had one of those totally embarrassing moments you wish you could take back? I did, the first time I went to a Sonic. It was a cold, dreary day and I wanted to sit inside. That’s right, turns out there is no «inside» at a Sonic. Derp. This explains why the people in their commercials are always sitting in cars. As for the food, I enjoy it. It reminds me of the old A&W stands. Not the newer ones with the KFC’s, but the original, stand alone A&W’s. Good solid road food. But there’s always that awkward moment when you pay the plucky young gal on skates. Do you tip, or would that be considered a breech of protocol?

I have to be honest, I was a bit surprised by the experience my family and I had at the Sonic in Anderson, CA. When my son asked for some ice cream, my father, SURPRISINGLY, suggested that Sonic was the place to go. We have all seen the dorky, but funny, commercials, but is it any good? When we got there, it is a bit hard to figure out if you have never been. Your options are patio service ordered through a ‘drive-thru style menu’ or using car hops on roller skates. There are like 20 milk shake options to choose from and we tried four — all were awesome. I also succumbed and tried the cheesy bacon hot dog on a pretzel bun; my son tried the corn dog. While the quality of the actual hot dog is definitely suspect, the overall taste wasn’t that bad! I am not going to be a frequent Sonic customer, but it definitely will hit the spot when required! I would certainly pick this over the many other fast food joints out there.

Ordering from the patio is a pain. You just stand there after naming off each item. Then there’s dead silence. You don’t know if they heard you or not… after each item! Patio is nasty, needs a power wash. There is bird crap on all the patio tables. Gross!

I CANNOTBELIEVETHESEREVIEWS! This place has amazing drinks yes, most of the time! I still enjoy sonic they have good deals and have some of the best drinks. I have found hair in my food once, while I was with a friend another time(I didn’t get anything cause the last time) and she found a hair in her food! Were talking big long hairs people! Another incident I got a straw berry slush which I get from there quite frequently and it had almost no flavoring so I opened it and it had strawberrys on the bottom and top but was just plain ice? Even worse! When I opened it I was mixing it and there was ANOTHERHAIR. Not to mention the service. I hate getting bad customer service and this place drives me up the wall! I get you don’t wanna be here but when you take my order you don’t have to sound pissed off and like you hate oyt job. Like It won’t kill you to smile. Almost all the employees are like this! They bring down my mood! I have had TWO employees give me good service and it’s was Anthony and I believe Val. And if I had cash I would have tipped and I have tipped Anthony because good customer service keeps people coming back it’s the key to any business! I still get drinks from here constantly, just not food. I will make the short drive from redding to Anderson just to get a strawberry lemonade from sonic because there’s no one else in town! Except red robin!(THEYALSOMESSUPALLTHETIMEANDGIVEMELIMEAID) and they should do little things like double check that someone wanted lemonade in stead of limaid! All and all is think this place is only good for their drinks and their employees should really step up their game. And my two stars are simply because of the drinks + I think their food is over priced I would rather pay 5 $ for a meal at in n out down the road then 10 $ for something that’s not nearly as good.

Got my fix of those delicious Chicago Dogs. Best Chi-Town dogs north of Portillos. Also slammed down some great popcorn chicken. Can’t wait to go back. Watch out for the carhops on skates.

Probably the worst Sonic I’ve ever been to. 1st, they forgot one of our burgers, but by the time we figured out we were missing some food items we were 5 miles down the road. The fries were soggy and everything taste over processed. I don’t know why people love sonics… I think there are better options out there. Sorry to rain on peoples parade… but here I go pouring down the fast food chain parade.
