We went to check this place out and were turned away at 5 pm because the hostess said they were«full with reservations for the next 48 hours». We could see easily over a dozen empty tables so I can only surmise they are either short handed or short sighted.

Sat at the bar. Slow to no service. It must be a rule in Florida. You can’t be friendly & smiley to be a bartender. Ordered prime rib, French dip sandwich. Beyond awful & auju tasted like beef drippings mixed with salad oil. Also seared tuna MR, good, but dry & a whole lot of ginger. Snow peas & corn relish good. For $ 8 more you get two sea scallops, they were seasoned well, but they had a Burt taste to them, 15 seconds more in the pan I would have returned them. $ 86 bill & really bad meal. Save your $, give someone else a try!

Sat out at the bar near the marina and received what is to be expected from a good«boaters bar». Had an app and some drinks, both of which were good. There was a specialty margarita on the menu that I tried, and while good was not quite worth the price tag. More my fault than theirs as it was clearly described on the menu. There is a very nice looking indoor restaurant, but that was not what we went for that time. Will be back to try a real meal for dinner indoors sometime. Until then I will leave it with 4 stars as it delivered exactly what you expect from a bay view bar plus it was not overrun with people that had been drinking since they woke up.

Excellent food and atmosphere with beautiful bay view. Food was delicious and service from Tracie C was awesome. Would highly recommend a visit. Just got drinks and apps — grouper bites and fish spread were fabulous. Fish spread was best we’ve had.

Went there for lunch. Nice view, accommodating pleasant staff. We were first say in the sun on the covered patio… After a minute it became apparent why that section was empty too hot! We asked to move and were taken care of by our server. He also took care of us throughout the entire meal. Constantly being attentive. The food was very good, the bread was fresh and hot, served with ample easy to spread butter. I mention this because often the butter is this hard mass that not only rock hard but tears the bread. A nice touch to detail. All the food was very good and there was plenty of it. Well served, well portioned, well done. And the price was reasonable!

[My husband and I ate here for the first time late last night. I had the fish tacos and he had the bacon cheeseburger. Both were good. There was a band playing outside, and the service was very attentive. The draft beer prices were a little high for smaller portions is the only reason I only gave 4 stars.

We stopped in for a second meal at Circles, this time on Sunday for lunch. A was a bit chilly, but we chose the patio as they had plastic wind shields installed. With the sun out the temperature was fine, but the flies were a bit annoying. The food was good, but the service was a bit slow and inattentive. This surprised me as it was about 2:00pm and the restaurant was not that busy. Overall the meal was fine and we will be back; I just wish the service was a bit better.

We stopped here after visiting the manatee viewing center. I have heard friends talking about and seen some of their check ins so I thought it would be a great opportunity to try. We had 2 teenagers and a 4 year old with us. The kids meals were $ 5! Where can you find that at? Nowhere! That’s extremely cheap for a restaurant. Score! The downside was the actual meals. They were $ 20 and up. With appetizers at the same prices! I got a chicken salad which ran around $ 15 if I remember correctly and it was small. Not worth the cost. They have a lot of outdoor seating with built in heaters. And it’s on the water so it’s a great location. Will we return again? Possibly. If we are in the area. Without the kids. The 3 stars are definitely because of the prices compared to the portion sizes. The picture of the peel and eat shrimp that I posted is an appetizer and costs $ 24

I’ve grown up by this restaurant. It is the nicest dining/ambiance you will receive without going far north to Tampa or south to Sarasota. The food is delicious and I’m a huge sucker for their crème brûlée! It’s perfect for date nights, drinks at the tiki bar with friends, and even if you need to rent out the fireplace area for an event(my father held his wedding reception there). I highly recommend you give this place a try!

Great place to park your car or boat and enjoy some drinks, food, and music, while enjoying the view of the Tampa Bay area. Many sailboats and other boats parked here. Drinks and food are priced slightly high, but this is sometimes expected when your on the water. Laid back easy going atmosphere, no dress codes, outdoor seating is great most of the year.

Visited Circles again for lunch. Tonya was our server and she was friendly and efficient. She helped us move to a window table after one opened after we were seated elsewhere. It was a superb Florida day. Blue blue sky, temps in the upper 60s with a bit of wind. The water and the boats looked good with our romantic lunch. The food was five star today. We started with the wonderful bread basket and butter. I had the grouper bites. They were hot, tasty, light and flaky. For my side salad, I went with the new Mediterranean salad as the Greek salad was discontinued. It was an excellent replacement — fresh big and satisfying. My lovely wife had two sides — the Yukon Gold mashed potatoes and a green bean/carrot medley which was tasty with a garlic flavor. She also had some of my salad. Finished the meal with a delicious coffee, fresh brewed and smooth. Tonya made sure I had a second cup before leaving.

Great view and good food, but service has always been poor and the portion sizes have been reduced significantly. Coupled with the high prices, Circles has definitely fallen off my «place to bring out-of-towners» list. Plus the place was swarming, absolutely SWARMING, with flies outside. That’s sort of endemic of Apollo Beach, but they could at least try to lessen the fly situation.

Not the best service this time. Went to the tiki, sat there, never got waited on. Decided to sit outside in the main restaurant, took forever to get our drinks. I ordered a martini, was delicious. Second one was not even full($ 10.50), so not happy about that. Took thirty minutes to get bread, didn’t even think we got it with dinner. We’ve never had these issues. Thought about leaving after we ordered our drinks. Our dinner was great however.

Circles Bar & Grill At Lands End is a great spot to dock the boat at if you are looking for a bite to eat while boating. My husband and I arrived by boat and parked at the marina. We had no problems finding a spot to park the boat, but we were visiting on Veteran’s Day which was a Wednesday so the restaurant was pretty quiet. I imagine the six vacant dock spots are filled on the weekends when more people are on the water. We liked the laid back atmosphere outside and chose to sit outdoors, overlooking the boats docked at the marina. To start our meal off we ordered the grouper bites appetizer and some cocktails. I opted for a split of champagne and my husband selected the«Circles Perfect Margarita». The grouper bites were great, but ironically my husband’s margarita not perfect, it was terrible. The margarita was served in a tall water glass and had way too much sour mix in it. We asked the waitress for some more limes so that we could doctor up this $ 11 cocktail, but honestly I wish we just sent the drink back. Next time we will stick with beer or wine. For my lunch I ordered the Mediterranean salad with chicken and my husband ordered the crab and corn chowder and the sesame seared tuna. My salad was amazing and contained an assortment of romaine lettuce, tomatoes, chick peas, cucumbers, onions, Greek olives, feta, sunflower seeds, pita chips, and Greek dressing. My husband’s seared tuna was good, but the highlight of his meal was the crab and corn chowder. This chowder was packed full of flavor and contained crabmeat, bacon, corn, scallions, and cream. The chowder was so good that I almost ordered a cup! The tiki bar was closed during our visit, but I’d like to return and have drinks and listen to some live music at the bar next time we visit.

Honestly the best seafood place I have been to in a long time. The menu is a little pricey but for quality seafood I thought it was well worth it. I had the Atlantic Cod entrée which was the best piece of white fish I’ve ever had in Florida. They had unique and fresh side dishes to go along with their fish that were really refreshing. The outdoor seating was absolutely gorgeous with views of the marina and sunset. Inside was beautifully decorated like a modern art gallery. Definitely will be back to try the rest of the menu!

Spice even in the grouper bites!!! Oh no!!! I can tell the chef loves spicy food. But I do not, and wished my grouper bites were regular. Your lobster bisque is outstanding though, with abundance of lobster chunks, this is my favorite plate at Circles. The place is beautiful, though the live music can be annoying when dining, it is extremely loud. Fine dining should be accompanied by some soft instrumental music, in my opinion. The service, Jorge V, was very nice and bilingual, which is always a plus in Florida. The crème brûlée was perfect!

Circles has a small outdoor covered casual bar overlooking the Apollo Beach Marina in a quiet residential area. This place is a smaller and less busy Marina than Hula Bay in Tampa but that gives it some of it’s small town intimate charm. I Had the blackened grouper sandwich here for $ 12 and some drinks last time. This time I just had drinks before we left on the boat out of the marina. The prices for drinks and food were average at $ 4 for a bud light lime and $ 8 for a piña colada. Service was quick and friendly as it wasn’t too busy. The view was awesome. Circles also has a pricier indoor restaurant that overlooks the marina with $ 25-$ 35 plates for dinner including a large assortment of seafood and steak. I have not dined at that restaurant before so I can’t comment on that food or Service. There is plenty of parking available on site. This is a great place to watch the sunset! :)

I came here with my friend after stopping by to see manatees. I was really drawn to this place due to the excellent view of the water and good food described in past Unilocal reviews. For our appetizer, we shared the Oysters on the Half Shell. The oysters were very fresh, super tasty, and chock-full of cheese, garlic, spinach, and bacon. My friend also ordered the Lobster Bisque, but she didn’t find it to be all that exciting. We received some fresh bread as well which had a good crust and went well with the fresh creamery butter. For our entrees, my friend ordered the Coral Reef Linguine. Both of us were impressed by the seafood-infused cream sauce, large scallops, and perfectly cooked linguine. The flavors were definitely spot-on, and the seafood was fresh. She was a bit surprised by finding fewer shrimp than she had expected but enjoyed the dish regardless. I had the Hot-n-Spicy Grouper. I was reluctant at first, because I’m not a big fan of fried fish, but it was cooked well with a great crunch from the crust and tender grouper nestled inside. The fish tasted very fresh and was seasoned well. The sauce itself was a bit overpowering in my mind. I found it kind of gooey with too much sweetness and salt but very little spice. The vegetables and rice pilaf were well-cooked. I just found the sauce to be a bit too much. Overall, the view was as lovely as people had said it would be, and the food was generally good. The service was very attentive, and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely come back next time I’m in the area to try new things.
