The place has completely gone down hill. They had decent service and pretty good pie years back. Now the service is awful and the food is worst. The prices has gone up but the food quality has gone way down. Customers in this area might not be too picky when it comes to pies but you’re going down the wrong path. I’d rather order from Dominos.

Great pizza, probably the best in the Arcadua/Monrovia area. Omar’s Special is the way to go. The garlic knots and meatballs are very tasty. Give’em a try, thank me later.

Great pizza… fast delivery… yummy wings too! I Iove NY style, and this is certainly the best you can get delivered in the Arcadia area. Large slices, yummy cheese and toppings took me back to the East Coast. You have got to give Omar’s a try!

Omar’s pizza rocks. We get the Brooklyn, no onions, and it never disappoints. The garlic they add in really makes it exceptional. This is the best traditional type pizza I’ve had in California in over 20 years!

First time ordering from here and I must say the pizza was amazing. Arrived hot and ready to consume. Normally do not like to eat the crust but could not resist theirs not heavy, soft and just delicious. Next time I’m in time will definitely place an order. «The Works»

Came to town and was looking for a good pizza place to eat and it was getting late, about 9 pm. Omar’s stated it was opened till 10, so I called and they were gonna take my order but all of a sudden he said his cook left so they were closed. Not good business to do this to your customers

So the owner must have complained about my negative review. Unilocal said that my review had to be about an actual experience. Except it WAS my actual experience back in February of 2015. So I will go ahead and again state what happened when I visited this establishment! And shame on you for manipulating your reviews. Just shows what kind of business you are. Came in at noon. Had no pizza slices ready, no garlic Knotts ready and their chicken wings prices went up $ 3. Bad experience. I won’t be coming back. Which is a bummer because everyone talked it up so much. Very disappointed.

The 18″ pizza is so huge! Every slice is the perfect amount for one person… although you most certainly will not just have one slice. The toppings on my pizza were fresh and the cheese was melted and super delicious! Great quality pizza.

I use to Love Pizzas! Like Love love love. for some reason as the year past and my youth seemed to slowly and surely dissipate. I can’t stay out as late and my tolerance of alcohol has gone out the door… thats when I realized that healthy eating is the way to be. Its really rare nowadays where I would allow cheesy, oily pizza to enter into my system, unless I was dying of hunger or I just have nothing to eat! Omar’s pizza a gourmet pizzaria located in the cusp of Monrovia and Arcadia where I had to pick up something quick and something where I know can cure my hunger quickly. I picked up a large pizza and 8 chicken wings .and you know what happened? I, myself, ate 4 slices. Till this day I dont know what came over me. was I deprived? No… It was just that good!

My go-to place for pizza and BBQ parties. When we have a GOT party at our house we get Omars, and it never disappoints. We get the Omar special and the Farmers Market. Some of my friends think the special is a little too salty, but I think its meaty and delicious. The farmer’s market is a great pizza too. Garlic knots are great with the dip. You can order online or call in, and they usually deliver before the 35 estimated time. Definitely eat here!

I called, placed an order for delivery and waited the 40 minutes. I called to follow up and person told me that the driver was a couple minutes away. He never showed up. I had about ten friends at my house on Manny Pacquiao’s last fight and Omar’s just left us hanging. It’s pretty embarrassing when your friends are waiting on the food you ordered, then everyone has to scramble to grab to go food after watching the fight. I prefer supporting the small biz owner because I am one. It’s disappointments like this that make customers go to Domino’s because they can be sure that their order will be delivered. Omar’s is right around the corner from my house and they’ve lost my business and many friends of mine.

Fight night April 9th and what do we want? Pizza. and what do we want? Pizza delivered. Well not from this establishment. I just moved back to this good olé neighborhood and invited a couple olé friends over for the fight. My buddy Michael R. thought of Omar’s. The worst decision of 2016 was to call Omar’s Pizzeria. He ended up ordering a large pie with wings about a good hour prior to the main event. 45 minutes passes by we thought Omar’s was busy since it was fight night. An additional 30 minutes passes by and straight to phone he went. Michael spoke to whoever that was working that night and he said the delivery guy was out to us. Another 30 minutes passes by and of course now Omar’s is closed. Fight night and what did we get? Sh*t. And what do we do? Call Pizza Hut!

I am a transplant from PA and have been looking for a good NY style pizza place since June and this is by far the BEST place in SoCal for authentic New York Thin Pizza! I drive here from Panorama City(25 miles) just for the pizza.

Had a amazing pizza delivered! Sooo fresh and delicious, great quality dough, cheese, sauce, and toppings. Delivery took about 40 minutes… very good for a Saturday night. Pizza is huge and way worth the money. Ordered ½ Hawaiian ½ Whitestone, crust was NY style thin perfectly cooked. This will definitely be my go-to pizza place from now on.

If you love New York Style Pizza, this is your place. Being from Boston(*gasp*) I still have a hankering for real NYC pizza — Omar’s is incredibly authentic: 1. Slices fold in half. Like actual pizza should.(If it doesn’t fold, it’s not pizza!) 2. They make their dough fresh every day. EVERYDAY. When it’s gone, it’s gone, so order early! It’s so genuine, I think they must import their water from NYC… or something! 3. Delivery is typically prompt, 40 – 60 minutes, even on weekends. Food always arrives HOT! 4. Buffalo Wings and Baked Zitti are awfully good too! Next time you need a NYC Style Pizza fix Omar’s is your place. Best I’ve found in LA. Give it a try!

MMM, new york style pizza is always the way to go! +Omar’s Pizzeria serves pizza by the slice or you can order whole to go. +My boyfriend and I ordered pizza by the slice. The pizza are in display case and employee will reheat your slice after order. When they reheat the pizza, the crust becomes crispy making the already yummy pizza delicious. +Boyfriend ordered Omar’s special(pepperoni, meatball, fresh mushroom, and garlic) and I opted for Puttanesca(artichoke hearts, fresh mushrooms, sliced black olives, pecorino romano, mozzarella, fresh basil, and special garlic sauce and oil sauce). Gosh both pizzas were good but if you like the taste of classic good old pizza, you should order Omar’s special. If you want to be more adventurous then try Puttanesca because the sauce did taste different and it wasn’t your typical pizza. For some reason it tasted a bit like bbq sauce to me but regardless both slices were really good! +They have daily special of 2 slices and a drink for $ 6. Great price! –Downside is that they don’t have menus at Omar’s. When I asked for one, the employee said the menu is on their website. Their pizzas are on display after all but they also have pastas and you wouldn’t know that they have that or the daily special without looking at the menu. –Because we didn’t know about the daily special, we ordered two slices and was charged $ 6. The next couple after us ordered 2 slices and a drink and was also charged $ 6. That’s when we went to their website later and found out about their daily special. Bummer, wish the employee told us the drink would have been free. :T Other than that no complaints about their pizza. Looking forward to trying different kinds of slices!

Yo. seriously. more places like this are needed, well, EVERYWHERE. Considering the location I can understand they aren’t open too late, but a place like this, opened until 1am in Orange County would be AMAZING. First of all its the«by the slice» kind of place(you know, like szbarro) And then they reheat your pizza. NY Style means thin and crispy crusts. They got that in spades. A bit run down, a bit dirty, and a guy with a backwards hat cooking our pizza, it had almost everything. I can see how this could be a quick pick up place for most people in the area. The downfall? #1NO A/C. Damn, it was 96 outside, probably 94 inside. Ya need to change that! #2 No free ice water. They have bottled cold water and soda drinks, but that will lead me up to #3NOSTRAWS for the dirty ass cans that are in the fridge. Folks, always wipe/wash cans before you drink out of them. These things stay in palettes for months in warehouses infested with rats, roaches, and dirt. So always clean. ALL in all, this would be a 4 – 5 star if they took care of their issues. But, I mean, with 400+ reviews, this place is doin just fine!

I wouldn’t recommend dining in here because it’s kind of dark and not very dine-in friendly, but their take out service is great. They guy was super nice and made sure my order was packed up neatly to go. I was craving a calzone and got their ricotta and mozzarella and added onions and peppers. It was huge, the size of a paper plate and came with 2 containers of marinara sauce. Hot and plenty of filling, but wasn’t too crazy about the crust, it was slightly dense. Otherwise it was good. The also have ready to go slices(to be re-heated) for 2.99. I saw the worker put out a hot tray of Sweet and spicy– Pepperonis, jalapenos, and pineapples. Great amount of toppings, but the bottom of the slice was slightly burned. We’ve gotten delivery a few times in the past and it has been a mix of on time and a few minutes late, but overall great thin crust pizzas!

I used to LOVE Omar’s pizza, the first time I tried it it was a pepperoni pizza by the slice. It was thin, crispy, and amazing. Their garlic knots are amazing as well, but it sucks that you have to heat it up on your own at home, since it comes cold. Ordered whole 18″ pizzas twice. I would recommend asking them to cut the pizza into smaller slices(16 slices) instead of the normal 8 slices. First time we ordered«Omar’s special», which tasted OK. The meatball killed the pizza, it was way too heavy and too salty. Second time we got half«Omar’s special» with no meatball(just pepperoni, mushroom, and garlic), and half BBQ chicken. I did not try the BBQ chicken, but my bf’s little sisters said it was good, but they’re little kids… It did smell good to me, but I rather die than eat cilantro. The pizza was soggy, oily, and super salty. As much as I love garlic, I would not recommend it on their pizza, it makes it taste sour, but also maybe because the sauce is super sour that it made me cringe. Sometimes their pizza is burnt and it is almost impossible to cut through, I broke my fork trying to keep the toppings and dough in place while cutting the pizza. Overall, I would not recommend getting their whole pizza, instead try their pizza by the slice first before investing your appetite into their whole pizzas. BUT I have to warn you, there are many tiny flies inside the glass where they store all the pizza by the slice, very gross and unsanitary. I often feel sick the day after I eat their pizza due to the heavy greasiness. I feel obese and that I’m going to die with major heartburn and a stomach ache.
