Starbucks

This barista, monika (I think), is the nicest barista there and she always gets my order right. When I go to other Starbucks they always get my orders wrong but not this one. I strongly recommend that everyone should come to this Starbucks.

Don’t bother with this Starbucks, without a doubt every time I’ve been they always mess up my order. Maybe it’s because the cashier is always too busy pretending to listen to my order as they are writing it on the cup? and the drinks never tAste the same As a regular Starbucks. Horrible service and horrible drinks… Not worth it!

This Starbucks is located inside the Santa Anita Mall in the food court area, inside the Urban Home store. For being the only Starbucks inside the mall, the line can get pretty long at times. But the staff is friendly and decently quick with the orders, though they may need reminders on restocking the sugar/​milk bar. They don’t accept your Gold Member redemptions, and probably any of the other promos… but at least prices are the same as the real Starbucks!

I love the taste of Starbucks coffee. Call me an afiicianado (sp). This location leaves a lot to be desired, though. It’s understaffed, and the line’s always running long outside the door. Expect to wait 10 – 15 minutes for your coffee.

I love Starbucks, and I didn’t have a single bad experience until I started coming to this location (because of work proximity). I always order the same thing — an everything bagel with cream cheese and a grande vanilla iced coffee with half & half and easy ice. It’s simple! Yet every time I go in (in the mornings) there’s something wrong with my order. I’ve resorted to getting my iced coffee without ice and ask for a cup of ice on the side because they always fill half the cup with ice although I ask for easy ice. And of course I have told them politely that they forgot to give me easy ice but I learned my lesson because they just get rude. The worker literally looked at me and rudely said «well do you want me to take the ice out or remake the entire drink?» SO I figured that if I asked her to take it out she would pour in some more coffee — but nope. She just POURED the ice out and handed it right back to me. And then of course a few times they’ve given me just black coffee without half & half. This occurs whether it’s slow or busy. They never fail to get my SIMPLE order wrong.

Three employees working very diligently while the other two are discussing their dinner plans and writing down orders from the food court. One person behind the counter who isn’t even wearing a uniform is discussing what to put on the cashiers burrito in front of a line full of customers who are waiting. Tisk Tisk…

Dominic and John are the best! They provide OUTSTANDING customer service and make delicious drinks! If you come to the Santa Anita mall, make sure to stop by this Starbucks!

The typical starbucks. Servers looked bored, but at least they didn’t mess up my drink. The area has about 5 – 6 two seater tables, and a large long table that you can share with multiple people. They share the space with urban home so it’s a high ceiling store. The furniture actually is quite nice so you can look around while chilling.

This is a licensed Starbucks located inside Urban Home, which is right by the entrance to the food court at the mall. Since its a licensed Starbucks they don’t offer the same promotions or deals/​you can’t redeem free or discounted drinks here as you usually can in normal Starbucks coffee shops. Which is kind of a bummer.
I was here recently with my coworker in hopes that they’d be doing the buy one get one free holiday drinks promotion that was going on last week. Well surprise, surprise: they weren’t. Because they’re a licensed Starbucks. Boo. BUT the kind gentleman at the cashier decided to just give it to us out of holiday spirit: D I wish we got the receipt so I could thank you by name (and enter the star code to my account hehe) but I hope you know who you are, good sir! Thank you for a lovely Starbucks experience!
I had the peppermint mocha frappuchino and my coworker got the caramel brulee frap. Our drinks were of standard Starbucks quality. No better nor worse than what I normally get from regular Starbucks stores. We also picked up a slice of their frosted lemon cake (?) and it was divine.
I don’t know what the other reviewers here are talking about when they complain of slow and unfriendly service. Our drinks were made quickly and the barista that took our order was very reasonable and nice. Overall I think they do a good job.

My iced latte was good. The barista was very patient and helpful with my sister’s question and request to modify her drink. The drinks came out really fast. But even though they take charges on Starbucks card, they cannot honor any special offers or free drink reward on the card.

Very disappointed! I love Starbucks coffee but this location was not friendly at all. 3 people in the back of the counter busy chatting each other not paying attention to customer at all. I ordered my usual Pike. I got the wrong flavor
But did not want to ask again. On top of that, they charged .50 for refill. I asked her why?
Before I even finished she said it is owned by company it is located. Too bad! Service was bad
And coffee wasn’t the same that I usually get.

This location is in the mall so people need to keep in mind it does get busier than most. The workers are always super friendly and have great attitudes! Every time I come here I can tell that the baristas are working hard to make the drinks as quick as possible with the line out the door. Quality work ethic here

They finally made a Starbucks in this mall, thank god. It can get pretty packed but even with the line out the door they still manage to get through it quickly. Samantha is the best barista!

I Love this Starbucks! I get my coffee fix every morning before work. The staff here is always super sweet & always very welcoming! My drinks are always made perfect, I never have a complaint. Unlike other Starbucks here they actually interact with you; great customer service!

They’re pretty new. I think they’re still learning how to make the drinks. I go to other places for my coffee.

They charge me 50 cents for a cup of water (I didn’t ask for a venti size) and even the receipt did NOT show that I purchase water. It shows for a refilled ice tea.

First off, be prepared to pay the premium for getting your Starbucks fix within a Mall. You wouldn’t think there would be a surcharge– but there is! A hefty one at that. I paid about 8 dollars for a juice here– 8 DOLLARS! I was floored– but I was also thirsty, so It didn’t really matter at that point. My faux pas was not asking how much it was (no prices listed, BOO!)
It’s a hit and miss when it comes to how the drinks are made. Sometimes they’re super icy, and sometimes they’re juuuuuust right! The second time I went, I bought a coffee frap, and it was pretty good, and didn’t break the bank.

This Starbucks is conveniently located in Westfield Santa Anita. I’m so happy that they opened here, but my experience here was blah.
The employees are not as friendly as other Starbucks locations I have been to. No smiles or greetings. I am a gold member, but I can’t redeem any of my rewards here. Why buy more drinks when I have 3 rewards that are about to expire? Another negative about this place is that they’ll charge you $ 0.50 for a cup of water.
Slow service, unfriendly staff, no promotions and I can’t use my gold member rewards… Meh, I won’t be back.

I hate these small Starbucks locations that do not take the gift card and its benefits. If you are going to open Starbucks, get the technology that makes you a real Starbucks!!!

When my drink was ready, the lady set it down on the pick-​up counter, at the edge, SUPER close to the trash can. She also gave me a small straw for a venti. :/
