I order food around 10:05 pm(25 mins before they closed). They got to my place within minutes and the food was great; very impressed! I order the orange chicken and chicken lo mein.

Panda Café is one of those pretty reliable, solid Chinese food places in the neighborhood that you can count on to come through for you when you’re looking for some cheap food that doesn’t break the bank. They have some pretty decent deals. A lot of their Dinner Combos are great and they come with chicken fried rice and a spring roll — not to mention it’s a ton of food besides that. My favorite thing to get here is the Fried Dumplings and the Special Lo Mein. The dumplings, honestly, are NOT fried long enough, but something about them just tastes so damn good with the soy sauce they give you. If I get an order I’ll usually eat one or two and then pop them in the over a couple days later to reheat. That’s when they’re the best. The special Lo Mein is chicken, beef, and shrimp lo mein. It’s an absurd amount of food and it will last you three meals if you play it right. Also, if you order enough food, they have coupons that let you score extra food. We ordered over $ 40 for me and my two friends the other day and we got a free order of General Tso’s and white rice for free because we ordered so much. This is a solid place to get some delivery Asian food so I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for some Chinese.

Thought we would give this place a go since they deliver and it was Terrible! The Moo-shi pork was served with flour tortillas! WTF. Did they run out of rice pancakes and thought nobody would notice?! Sezchuane(sic) chicken and beef with brocolli. All not very good and must have been loaded with MSG was dying if thirst all night. Pepto Bismal got a work out at 4:30am. Not pretty. Hot and sour soup tastes pretty good! Good luck if you go … I will never be going back. Yuck

I ordered the sesame chicken dinner special and was not impressed. The chicken was tasteless and the chicken fried rice tasted like shrimp. I will not be ordering food from them in the future. I recommend you pass and find something more satisfying.

They quoted 45 mins for delivery. It came in 16. Super Fast! Food was very good, exactly what you’d expect from Chinese delivery. Also, prices were less expensive than other area shops.

Definitely just another«cheap» Chinese restaurant. We needed a quick fix before heading out of town and this was the closest. Paid over $ 35 for just dumplings, fried rice, and sweet and sour shrimp(ended up being fried. We ate in and they gave us flimsy plastic forks. I’ve had better«cheaper» Chinese food.

This place is down the street from my house. Have eaten here a few times and this place is very Mediocre Chinese food. Nothing is really great here. The Pork Lo Mein is decent. Although it can be very salty and greasy… they do provide you with a good amount of pork in this dish. I would give this dish 3 ½ stars. The Wonton Soup is a joke. The Wontons are small and fall apart every time in this soup. The broth is very bland. Do not order this dish… its pretty awful. The Shrimp Spring rolls are not good either. Very greasy, small, and only like 2 shrimps in each roll. The appetizer platter for 1 is ok. Nothing really sticks out. The rib doesn’t have much meat on it. The Sesame Chicken is pretty decent. The sauce on the chicken is not overwhelming and has a decent taste to it. If you want cheap Chinese food without a lot of taste then this is your place. There are other Chinese joints around Arlington way better than this place. So don’t expect great Chinese food here.

Need a computer system so you don’t have to keep giving them the same info. These people know me!

The chinese food here is your standard fare. Have really cheap lunch specials(5.95) and decent prices all around. I did receive a hair in my last order which is why i’ve downgraded the star but they were appologetic and brought me out a fresh sweet and sour chicken. The kung pao and dumplings as well as singapore noodles are good here as well. It’s also very fast as is typical at chinese restaurants but i’ve never had to wait to get my order past the allotted time.

Excellent! Ordered 5 items for delivery and they were very quick. Delivery dude was very polite and food was very tasty. I had pork low mein, chicken fried rice, crab wontons, moo shi pork, and cashew chicken. I would highly recommend!

Living right around the corner, I’ve ordered from Panda Café for several years. The food is mediocre at best, but they’ve been relatively fast, so we’ve forgiven the long ordering process due to a significant language barrier. I just ordered from a menu I received recently only to find that the specials had changed(I should say that there was no date on the menu). I almost didn’t mind that the specials had changed, but I had to speak with 4 people before I was given an explanation I could actually understand… I’m done… I’ll be ordering from Hunan Express from now on…

Damn, I was a little harsh with my last review. Came back to reflect that they’ve significantly raised prices and lower my rating, but I guess I didn’t realize what I had when I wrote my last review. This is Americanized Chinese food that rarely disappoints, but is now the same price as ordering Thai delivery or a really good sandwich from Lost Dog, so unless you really want crappy Chinese, I’d skip it. No online ordering, but the people that answer the phone are very fluent English speakers.

This is my regular, local choice for Chinese take out. It’s in a strip mall with convenient parking. It’s no frills, but the quality is good and the service is quick and friendly. The vegetable fried rice is great, and so is the Kung Pao Tofu.

The delivery was prompt and the order was right. The spring rolls, egg drop soup, dumplings, and the general Tso’s chicken were great, but the Sichuan Beef left a lot to be desired. Only half the meat was edible, and the sauce was bland.

Thus far, I’ve tried all of the Chinese places in Ballston, and this is easily the best. It’s also the cheapest, so, bonus! For less than $ 10 I got yummy hot and sour soup, and a dinner combo of shrimp and broccoli. The shrimp actually seemed fresh, and were large, not the tiny kind some restaurants give you when they cheap out. I called to order and decided it was easier to pick it up. Food was ready maybe 10 minutes after my call.

We ordered our food at 6:07 pm tonight, it is now 8:05 and according to Panda Café, they have no idea where their driver is. This admission came after a call half an hour ago where we were told that the driver had got lost and would be there within 5 minutes. It’s unclear what is more upsetting. The blatant lie from half an hour ago, or the complete lack of customer service when we called just now. We have spent hundreds of dollars on their mediocre Chinese food over the years, but tonight they made no effort to acknowledge their fault or attempt to rectify the situation. We just now cancelled our order, but if their driver truly is no longer in contact with them, who knows it may show up sometime tonight. A delivery driver nightmare is one thing. That happens, and it is terrible when it does. But it’s also forgivable. Blatant disrespect and lying to good, long-time customers is just unacceptable.

Very mediocre food. I ordered the mixed vegetables and the broccoli was old. Even though it was almost 3pm and I hadn’t eaten all day, I couldn’t finish my meal. My bf ate half of his sesame chicken and didn’t even touch his wonton soup. I ended up filling up on plain white rice because most of the rest of the food wasn’t good. I hate wasting food, but I just couldn’t muster the courage to eat it. I did, however, enjoy the hot and sour soup and that was the one redeeming thing about this place. I will skip Panda Café in the future.

We’ve had our share of absolutely terrible meat to write this place off for good. It seems to be VERY hit or miss, but the misses are huge/inedible, and they’ve happened on more than one occasion now. The place is always packed too. I suppose it’s the best chinese in Ballston, but that’s not saying much.

Unilocal has spoken, this is THE best Chinese take out joint in Arlington! My usual neighborhood joint recently took off my go-to order of combination pan fried noodles off their menu(ASIF!) so I called Panda Café in hopes of satisfying my MSG fix. The lady on the phone spoke perfect English and assured me that my request could be done… with an hour wait for delivery. Um no thank you! I piled in my car and in fifteen minutes, I was hanging out in my jammies, watching Breaking Band with a steaming hot bowl of pan fried noodle goodness in my hands. My dish was chock full of carrots, mushrooms, crunchy water chestnuts, beef, chicken and shrimp! It was like I had a a full farm in my bowl! There was so much food that I’m still eating leftovers four days later. Best Chinese food I’ve had in a while! I can’t wait till my next rainy day Chinese food party!
