Amazing Indian food, great staff and nice ambience. Northern Virginia /Loudoun has another great restaurant to be proud of

Great spot! Loved the buttermilk chicken. The sauce is AMAZING: served with delicious nan(well baked and crispy) and lightly spiced season potatoes. If you’ve never had Indian food, this should be your first stop. Great hospitality, beautiful décor, and conveniently located in One Loudoun next to the Alamo Movie Theater. Came here for lunch on a Friday noon and left full at a great price.

Good flavors. Good service. Good portions. Improve the food freshness and you are golden. The rice and butter chicken were definitely reheated. Tandoori chicken and shrimp were grilled nicely though.

This place has excellent food that doesn’t stray from the traditional Punjabi style. We had a large party here and we were very well accommodated with excellent service. Appetizers: bhel puri(outstanding, the highlight), vegetable sampler(outstanding) and lasooni gobi(good but seems like the base is ketchup). Entrees: bhindi masala(very good but had higher ratio of tomatoes/onions to bhindi than desired), kadai paneer(very good but could have used more spice and was the same base as bhindi), daal(outstanding, very tasty) and bhaingan(very good, oily but that’s they way it’s made). The naan was also good but a little on the thicker side and cooked a bit more(this is more of a personal preference than a criticism). Overall, the food, ambiance and service is above average but the prices are also higher than average.

Great spot for lunch with entrees priced around $ 10 – 13 for delicious, well made food. Entrees come with a choice of soup/salad, a Chef’s side dish, Naan, and basmati rice. I tried the lamb rogan josh and the lamb was incredibly tender. I can’t handle too much spice, so I ordered it mild. The curry was flavorful without burning off my taste buds. The Chef’s side dish was a delicious eggplant masala which our table consumed within minutes. A very sweet yogurt-like dessert was also provided at the end of the meal. *For those who like spicy, my coworkers who prefer to eat super spicy Indian food mentioned that their dishes were not spicy enough, even after ordering«extreme spice.» *Try the lassi drinks(like a super sweet yogurt shake) which can be ordered with less sugar(which I actually preferred).

I had the chicken Tikki Mahani(hope i spelled that right), a cauliflower app, and an indian summer drink. Really, really, good. Be prepared to pay extra for your naan bread if you order more than they bring to the table initially. I got mine mild spicy — and it had a little back heat so I am going with hot next time. I am giving it 4 stars since they didn’t tell us the bread was extra(though I still would have ordered it). My drink was a little watered down and they chicken dish did not have a lot of chicken in it — but I could have lived with just a bowl of that sauce because it was pretty amazing. My friend got a black lentils dish that she ordered mild but I thought it was a bit bland but the lentils were perfectly cooked. One of the better Indian restaurants I have been too and the leftovers the next day were still incredible.

Amazing food and service. They’ve only been open for 7 months and owned by a Punjabi. I ordered seafood biriyani spicy and my friend got the lamb biriyani mild and we both loved our dishes! They also gave us carrot ginger soup, naan and gulab jamoon as dessert! The biriyanis came with korma and raitha!!! Loved the food. It’s right by the Alamo in One Loudon. A must try!

Chilli chicken was very good along with Punjabi Pom Pom. They provided onions with entrees without saying. Breads were soft and they have chapatis! The initial bread and green chutney was very good as well.

Not bad! I’ve had better Indian food at our old spot in Manassas, but this was pretty decent. The chaat app is hella spicy though!

I’m paying $ 9 for a cocktail that tastes like water. Not a good start. The two meat dishes came with very little meat and tasted bland but still cost close to twenty bucks each. The spicy dish tastes spicy but there was no other taste in the dish. In summary, bad cocktail, mediocre food, small portions. I’m not full nor satisfied w the experience.

Amazing. I had the Butter Chicken(mild)and my fiancé had the Coastal Shrimp Curry(Med-hot) and an order of naan. We embarrassed ourselves how quickly we gobbled it down and how we practically licked the bowls. The spices were perfectly balanced, the chicken and seafood perfectly cooked, and the portions were also just right. Hands down– best Indian food we have each ever had. I’m blown away. Don’t skip the naan! This is going to be our regular Friday date night destination. The servers were extremely nice and the restaurant had great ambiance.

I could write a long review, but it’d all end with — this is now the best Indian place in northern Virginia. Holy crap. And I’ve had pretty much everything in Fairfax and Loudoun counties. GETTHESAAGANDGETITSPICYYYYY!!!

The reviews for this place were either really good or very bad, so was not sure what to expect. I went for lunch with a group from work. The place is really nice and is different from other Indian restaurants in the area, which is refreshing. There is no buffet for lunch but they do have special lunch menu. The food was really good but spice levels are on a lower scale. So if you need spicy, you should ask for spicy at the time of ordering. Overall the food, décor, presentation and service is excellent. Hope they keep it this way.

The garlic naan was perfectly seasoned, not too greasy or salty. The buttered chicken was good and spicy paired with the rice and regular naan and it was the perfect meal. The mango pudding at the end of the meal was a special yummy treat. I would totally come back for more garlic naan and buttered chicken. Yum!

I’m a huge Indian food lover and this place was one of the few in the area that I really loved! Pind was awesome and I can’t wait to try more things on their menu! For lunch I ordered the chicken tikka which was an affordable $ 12. For lunch you get choice of soup or salad(I chose soup and got a great tomato soup), a bowl of basmati rice, a basket of 4 pieces of naan and a dessert. The chicken tikka had a beautiful presentation and I was glad it wasn’t just swimming in sauce like a lot of Indian places serve it. The roasted vegetables alongside were also really crisp and a great touch. The portions were generous and I had a ton for leftovers. The dessert was a sweet rice pudding which was nice. Service was great! Can’t wait to be back here!

Finally, an Indian restaurant in Northern Virginia that looks modern and trendy inside. Fits very well with all the cool restaurants in One Loudoun and food is no disappointment. Can’t expect food to taste as good as restaurants in South Indian cities but it does have great taste — typical North Indian dishes. The only drink I tried is Bombay Sizzler and it stacks up with some of the best cocktails I had at places like Mokomandy. Chicken Biryani was no where close to authentic Biryani but it did taste good. Hope they master Biryani’s to get them close to authentic Hyderabadi style. Breads are great. The lunch comes with unlimited Rice and breads along with soup/salad and dessert. Hope they continue to keep the high standards unlike most Indian restaurants that go down in quality over time around Loudoun. For now, it feels like Rasika of Loudoun!!!
