We stopped by on valentine’s day & it was great! There was hardly anyone there which we loved had a shipwreck(?) painkiller(level 1) which was sooo yummy! Hubby had Ft George Vortex IPA and it hit the spot. Food, mmmmmmm. We had mac & cheese bites for starter, they were so crispy and delicious. I had the beef dip which was AMAZING! I love how they grill the sandwich. The horseradish sauce a bit overwhelming for me but I am not a big spicy person. My hubby tried it & loved it! Fries were perfect. Hubby had halibut & fries which he thought were great. I highly recommend this place, it is self seating & if you do not get approached right away just go up to bar

Nice little place in Astoria. Food was OK. They over cooked the burger and took it back with no complaints. Second round was much better, but still over cooked on the outside. Need a little less heat on the grill. Good service. Nice people and would probably go back for another visit.

The fish was so amazing, tender, and fresh. The beer was cold and the folks were great. A must.

I loved this place. It’s a nice spacious area, so you you won’t feel stuffed inside a can. The menu is a bit difficult, since it’s 3 separate sheets at the moment, I hope they rethink that layout in the future. Plenty of options. We went with the halibut fish tacos and ahi fish and chips. It was strange seeing ahi as a fish and chips option but it turned out rather delicious. The tacos were a great choice as well. Also 2 conveniently located big screen tvs if you’re looking for a place with those and a projector screen that can be used for showing games as well, loved that touch.

Got into town late, drove all the way from Kelowna BC heading home to Huntington Beach CA. No food when we got here around 11:30pm just looking for a few cold beers to counteract the 10 coffees we drank today with our 13 hour drive. Well eclectic is the simple description every cross section of humanity was here having a good time, the booze flowed freely and service was top notch, a few aggro assholes as with any small town, morons trying to defend their insignificant turf but fun none the less, if you’re the dive bar type like me, this is definitely a stop on the world tour of dive bars… Have fun it’s authentic experience

Fantastic New England style clam chowder! Really. The best I’ve had on the Oregon coast.

Cute environment. Got there right at 11am. Prob too early. Unlimited alcohol selection. Good service. Cold– literally. Needed a heater. Good menu, lots of options. Poutin was greasy. Clam chowder — you could stand a spoon in it. Fish tacos — could not decipher what type and totally bland. The chips were decent albeit overfried. Decent margarita.

I’m surprised this place doesn’t have more reviews! The owner is very nice and we have told our friends about this place and have taken them their also. Have great beers on tap as well as other beer selection. Great fun drinks! Great food, we had poutine and our friends had never tried it before and they loved it! This space was remodeled not that long ago and is so nice inside, has great floor space for dancing and they do have big screens for football and such! Please stop by and see them and take your friends! We stop in every time we come to town!

Boom! First Review. Small operation, great local beer selection. The chowder is stupendous. Stop by for a pint.
