A burger place where you fully dress your own burger. Cheeseburger Bobby’s is a local burger chain in Georgia — I tried the location off of Roswell Road in Buckhead. Cheeseburger Bobby’s offers a small selection of specialty burgers, which includes the Carolina Burger(cheddar, cole slaw, and Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce), a chili cheeseburger, and turkey and veggie burgers for those who don’t eat beef. A classic cheeseburger meal with fries and a medium drink will cost you around $ 10. Highlights: The Buckhead location has a very friendly staff. The hamburger buns are toasted on the grill prior to serving. I thought the burger tasted decent — the bread came out good as well. Inside the restaurant, it’s really bright and modern looking. It’s a decent atmosphere for a family night out with burgers and fries. Something that I rarely notice in burger restaurants is a topping bar which you pretty much add everything. The burger will be served in a basket or takeout box with just the bun, cheese, and meat. It’s up to you to add as much or as little sauce, vegetables, and seasonings as you want. There’s quite a few sauces and seasonings to choose from, including mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, and the«special sauce». Critiques: Fries, in my opinion were average. I wasn’t a huge fan of the self serve topping bar. If you don’t mind that, add a star to my rating. Some of the sauce dispensers were difficult to use. It’s the nature of a self serve topping bar to be a little messy — I had to dispose of the first plastic cup I took for sauce because there was already sauce on it. Small drink lids were out when I first went to grab my soda. The employees promptly restocked the lids upon request, but I felt that the topping area could be maintained a little better. Overall: I guess I’m just not a fan of «add your own toppings» at burger restaurants. The burgers taste decent though and the atmosphere is pleasant, so give this chain a shot if you don’t mind that.

One of the best restaurant experiences in my entire life(not kidding). My friend and I went there tonight, and from the moment we entered, the entire staff had a friendly demeanor and were extremely welcoming. We gave our orders to the owner, David, who told us about the menu specials and recommendations. While ordering, I also noticed the«100» health rating which gave me confidence that I was going to be receiving well prepared food from a clean kitchen. The food we ordered was phenomenal. Better than the high-standard«Five Guys», Cheeseburger Bobbys offered a salad bar style assortment of topping and sauces. The fries’ spice could be selected from a wide range of favors as well. The burgers along with the fries were cooked to perfection. Once our meal ended, the employees came around and asked if we wanted to re-up our fries free of charge. Employees came around with mints and a tray of custard samples as well. Overall, it was an incredible experience. When it seems like a burger chain can’t even get a simple order correct these days, Cheeseburger Bobbys goes above and beyond in service, customization options, and quality of food.

Love this place! The food is good, and despite the name I’m glad they have chicken sandwiches, turkey burgers and even veggie burgers for my vegetarian friends. The bacon and bbq sauce version is my favorite, whether with a burger or chicken breast. Fries are solid and they usually come around and offer you more for free. Try the cheese fries for sure. Also, you can customize everything. They have eight different sauces and probably 10 different kinds of seasoning! Try them in your fries. The best part is the people, especially David who rocks and took care of everything to make our visit perfect.

Truly some of the best service we’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, we were met with smiling faces, genuinely positive attitudes, and exceptional service. From the cashier’s food suggestions to the free refills on fries and the employees checking on us throughout the night, it was such a positive experience. One employee even saw us walking towards the door and held it open for us just because he was nearby. Awesome. Oh, and don’t forget the delicious burgers and frozen custard. Give the onion rings with Bobby Sauce a try. Kudos to this location for going above and beyond for its patrons. Very impressed. We will return.

This has to be the best hamburger I’ve ever had in Atlanta. Went in for lunch with a friend and got the blue cheese and Swiss burger, with fried onions and bacon. It was delicious. Greasy, filling, and full of flavor. It was the right size for a good price. Not like those burgers at other places that are the size of hockey pucks. I was especially surprised when a server came around and offered us a refill on fries! No one has ever done that anywhere ever !!! Then the manager brought everyone a small cup of ice cream for dessert. I just really loved the service and generosity of this place. It’s rare to find a really great hamburger and great service.

I’ve been to CB on multiple occasions. I always enjoy the meal. Got the Philly cheesesteak burger which was fantastic! The part that stands out is their customer service. It has to be up there if not the best in the fast food industry. Each employee checks on you multiple times and treats you as family.

I love this place! The burgers are great, the garden is fresh and crisp, the fries delicious but what makes this place stand out from any of the other burger places around is the customer service. They have some of the best staff! Every time I come I am impressed and I’ve been coming for a couple years now. Toyshea is amazing and friendly. Dave is beyond words! I just watched him interact with a special needs man. The respect Dave showed him AND he wasn’t aware I was watching made me create an account just to review. That level of customer service and pride in making sure everyone has a great experience is not something you can fake. If you are in the mood for a good burger or going through frozen custard withdrawals.(I’m a Wisconsin girl, it happens), stop by Cheeseburger Bobby’s on Roswell. You will not be disappointed.

First time here! Our milkshakes were brought out to our table which were delicious! Fries were great especially with their«sauce». I got the bacon burger and it was really good as well. No complaints at all! I would definitely return!

I was in Sandy Springs and thought I would stop by Cheesburger Bobby’s for an early dinner. They are on Scout Mob and Unilocal has a check-in offer for a free Classic cheeseburger with the purchase of a drink and fries. I did the Unilocal offer. This spot of located in the shopping center on the corner of Hammond Drive and Roswell Road. There is plenty of parking, but it can be packed from all the businesses around. So you go in, order your meal, and they give you a pager to alert you when your meal is ready. It took about five minutes. They have an assortment of seasonings on the front counter for your fries or some even put it on their burger, I was told. So, you tell them what kind of cheese you want on your burger(they don’t have provolone), and I opted for pepper jack. Once your pager goes off and you get your burger, you move to the buffet for all of your toppings. It includes three types of lettuce, three types of peppers, onions(red and white), pickles, and tomato, Of course, all the condiments are available. I really like this set up. They were out of the little cups for which you put ketchup or mustard in. I asked if they had more, and a lady who was in regular clothes and who had been standing in the dining area speaking with the employee behind the counter said they were out. I asked her if she worked there and she said yes. I didn’t like this lady for I really feel like she made a snide remark when I asked the working employee a question prior to that. I decided to ignore her because I didn’t feel like turning up in Sandy Springs. Why didn’t she just go home? I gave her a filthy look. I know she said something smart when I asked that question. What I wanted was for her to let the employee who was actually on the clock and behind the counter deal with me. Anyway, the burger was okay. The bread was buttered and warm. The beef was not bad. The fries were pretty good and they give you plenty of them. Next time, I’ll get a burger with more beef on it. The dining area was spacious with plenty of room. If you sit in a booth, you will be low as it relates to the table you’re eating on. The lady behind the counter came out and brought peppermint to me and another lady who was in there. A sweet gesture indeed. Anyway, I’ll be back to this place. It’s a cool burger option.

Busy shopping center means the usual locations for our fast casual/to-go/take the kids/whatever places. So plus the Willy’s and Goldberg’s et al, of course there’s going to be a burger place. [Note: not sure why this location has not been reviewed on Unilocal.Eh– has it?] Bob’s is solid for its genre. Order and pay at the counter, food is brought out, accoutrement bar to suit your palate. Good selection of such(they even have romaine lettuce, not just that icky thing iceberg) to go with a bit surprisingly large menu of choices. Classic is the way I go first time visiting a place, and my burger with American cheese was good; it was tasty in the restaurant as well as the leftover half I later. The fries are pretty darn good– they look a light un-crispy but are actually cooked and seasoned just right; they do give you a lot, as well. If you like mushrooms, their burger that comes with is solid, and has a lot of mushy rooms on top. Prices are surprisingly reasonable for this neighborhood/v lots of places — under $ 5 for a good size(read: normal not ginormous) burger with cheese, and under $ 9 for a burger/fries/drink combo. This review is one of my less original ones, because this is a less than original place — translation: both do their job.

Cheeseburger Bobby’s took over the space in Sandy Springs/Buckhead formerly occupied by Five Guys. Boy, do I miss them. While the quality of service is good at Cheeseburger Bobby’s, the food is a far cry from Five Guys. My burger was a tad overcooked and dry, the fries a tad soggy. On the plus side, CB Bobby’s features an expansive condiment bar and a server offered extra fries while my son & I ate. Good in a pinch(or if your 3-year old wants a hot dog), but I’d still rather make the extra effort to go to Five Guys, Farmburger or SmashBurger.

Cheeseburger Bobby’s is a great, fast-casual burger joint with both build-your-own and specialty choices. I always go for the value meal which is a build your own cheeseburger with cheddar, fries, and a drink. They have about 8 different sodas to choose from on tap and then sweet, unsweet, and peach iced tea. I love being able to choose my own toppings from the fresh garden bar since it means I can load up on what I love and leave off what I don’t. Plus — they have three different types of lettuce(iceberg leaves, romaine leaves, and shredded iceberg) to account for a variety of preferences in taste and texture. Same with the pickles — I always go for the sweet over the dill. Finally, at the end of the line you have tons of sauces and dips to choose from to complete your burger creation. This location allows you to order at the counter and they give you a buzzer for pick-up since they make everything fresh. Their punch card program allows you to earn money towards future meals once you have completed ten punches. The counter crew come around to offer extra fries if you’re interested since they keep making them fresh and want to be sure they’re piping hot when they get to your table. Unfortunately, the crew member on this visit was walking around before we got our plates so when he offered we politely declined since there was nothing to put them in. The staff here are split pretty 50⁄50 — the younger teens are pretty aloof and not very engaged with the customers while some of the older members are enthusiastic and happy to serve you. It’s pretty hit or miss depending on the time of day you visit. The price is reasonable for the quality you get and they have lighter fare options with chicken, turkey, veggie, and no buttered buns available. Their specialty burgers range from black and blue to cowboy and spicy styles. Finally for dessert you need to try one of their specialty custard cones — hand dipped and super creamy!

Great veggie burger! My husband and I were out running around with friends and decided to stop in for a casual lunch. This was our first time to Cheeseburger Bobby’s, and a big bonus for me was the veggie burger option. I crossed my fingers that it wasn’t a Boca burger and was pleasantly surprised that it looked like their own recipe. I wish the menu was more specific than«for Bobby’s vegetarian friends», and I should have asked but I got distracted by the milkshake menu. Woops! Nevertheless it was very good! I piled it high with veggies from the cold bar and enjoyed it thoroughly. I also ordered a vanilla custard shake to make my lunch extra naughty. It was served in an old school glass shake cup with whipped cream and a cherry. So stinking cute! They even brought out the leftovers in the metal shake cup! This meal was about indulgence, obviously. My husband and friends all ordered a meaty burger and fries that disappeared quickly. I would say Cheeseburger Bobby’s was a win!

I was sad when Five Guys closed in this location, so I was optimistic when CB’s opened in the space. I stopped in for take out one night, choosing Bobby’s Classic Cheeseburger for myself and Bobby’s Smokehouse Burger for J, and one order of fries for us to share. You order the basics at the counter, and they give you a buzzer for your order. They’ve got a toppings bar with different kinds of lettuce, tomato, pickles, banana peppers, sliced onion, chopped onion, ketchup, mustard, etc, including specialty sauces. There’s also an assortment of flavored salts/seasonings for the fries at the end of the register counter. While the variety of the toppings bar is good, it’s somewhat annoying for take out orders… since I had to open each container and add the toppings, rather than being able to just package them while waiting for the burgers to cook. And this is where my laziness prefers Five Guys — I tell them what toppings I want, and they put them on my burger for me. All that being said, it was a good burger. I was particularly impressed by the bun, which was hearty and held up to the heapings of toppings that I added to my cheeseburger. The meat was flavorful and moist. The fries were ok, a little overcooked, and pretty bland. Guess you need to add one of those seasonings! I’ll eat in again, but probably won’t get take out.

Earlier this week I decided to cross off at least one restaurant from my to eat bucket list and Cheeseburger Bobby’s it was! I arrived about 1, and found the restaurant mostly empty although a party of 5 were leaving as I was walking in. I placed my order for the mushroom swiss burger at the counter and asked how much the combo would be, the cashier was nice enough to punch it through the register and told me it would be a little over $ 10, so I said I would pass on the fries and just the burger and drink(watching my calorie intake as well as my wallet out-take). I forgot to ask for my burger med, so I went back to the counter and spoke to the cook who said, No problem!(Big smile from me!) I was handed my cup and a pager to fiddle with until my burger was done. After about 4 minutes, my burger master piece called for me, or rather, paged me. The burger itself was not big and I immediately wished that I had ordered the double instead of the single. However, the cook gave me a large order of fries as well even though I didn’t ask for it which was pretty awesome. The bread was the best part for me. It was fluffy and just melted like good delicious carbs tends to do. Also, they did not skimp on the mushrooms or swiss! But, I made my way to the topping bar which I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! Not only do you get your choice of lettuce; which I am happy to say looked extremely fresh with no wilted or brown leaves, but there was also an assortment of onions(red and white) and pickles(sweet or dill). Being a foodie, I am a little OCD about my food. For instance, I hate sandwiches with pickles in them because the pickle juice will soak into every single component and thats just yuck. Instead, I prefer them on the side so I can blot away the excess juice and then place it onto my sandwich. Crazy, yes maybe, delicious, quite so! There are also an assortment of sauces; I tried the CB special sauce which was labeled as «goes great with everything». The sauce was eh at best. Its definitely a mayo based sauce with seasoning. IDK, maybe it needed something to oomph it up a bit, but it was just colored mayo to me. I also really did not like the fries. I’m not sure if it was just fried too long, but it was not crunchy, very limp and just not good — although I do quite appreciate the freebie! Customer service here is great, the employees were all smiles throughout my meal and even came by to check up on me too.

Cheeseburger Bobby’s is on my way home from work and is similar to(the now defunct) Fuddruckers(but perhaps not quite as good as Fuddruckers). I don’t know how to perfectly describe why I feel Cheeseburger Bobby’s is not quite as good as Fuddrucker’s; however, perhaps It is because I am missing Fuddrucker’s wedge cut fries. CBs fries are good; however, I miss the aforementioned wedge cut fries. Fuddrucker’s burgers were decidedly bigger(than CBs) and the Fuddrucker’s topping bar had way more topping items and condiments(like hot /melted cheese sauce to dip fries, pico de gallo, A-1 Steak sauce, HB steak sauce, tobacco, Cholula, etc.). I dig how this place is a great option when seeking the perfect combination of good, fast and cheap(cheap as in less than ten bucks). CBs is speedy as hell and you can dress your burger any damn way you want — this is a huge plus! You don’t have to rattle off a list of toppings when you order and you sure as f__k don’t have to worry about some idiotic jackass going light on or outright leaving off toppings you want. You can go heavy on some toppings while going lighter on other toppings(so as to nail the perfectly topped customized burger). I am a fan and will be back soon!

If I could give it a 3.5, I would. Nuts and bolts: Purchased a voucher deal. I love burgers and I love trying them out for cheap even more! Order: Cheeseburger for me and mushroom & swiss for the boyfriend. Pros: The staff was absolutely great! Kudos to them. I love the topping bar. They even have different spices and sauces that you can use. Neutral: Fries were just OK. Burger also was just OK. The burger was nice and juicy though! Cons: They had a specialty shake– I think it was a Twinkie shake. It was vanilla with a hint of banana it seemed. It had real nilla wafers mixed in. Unfortunately, the nilla wafers made it grainy and put me off. I would try again with a new shake.

Cheeseburger Bobby’s is a newish chain of burger joints this one has just opened in Sandy Springs. It is in the location where a former burger restaurant was. Single and double burgers can be ordered after cooking they will weigh in at approximately ¼ — ½ a pound(quote) and there are toppings like cheese, mushrooms and even chili that can be thrown on too. Need more options there are hot dogs, fries and kid’s meals. For those of us not eating red meat there is a Turkey burger, Veggie burger and even grilled Chicken on the menu. They have a «topping’s bar» where you have standard lettuce, tomato, onions etc. and even flavored salts for anything you might want to put them on. Five sauces are available including ketchup I choose to make my own concoction of A1, ketchup and hot sauce it actually works. I have been informed that everything is fresh with the exception of the Onion rings the Veggie and the Turkey burger hmm… ya know what I don’t mind as long as they taste good. If you feel the need for something sweet Custard shakes and $ 2.00 Parfaits and cones should do the trick and keep you out of that after lunch comma.
