4 stars is not realistic. However, for a restaurant that is pretty inexpensive and delivers on a weeknight or weekend night you cannot beat that for good quality Indian food delivered straight to your house! Chicken Tikka was thick and creamy with only 7 pieces of chicken, 7? C’mon Pizza K? This isn’t King Crab its friggin chicken! For 10 bucks I need more than 4 oz of Chicken! All being said you get Indian delivered to your door for 10 bucks. If you were to sit down or compare against a regular Indian Restaurant(non-delivery) I’d give these guys 3 stars.

Very very bad. the butter chicken pizza is awful. Not just stale chicken but also half baked. Will never go back to eat there…

This place used to be good. But the quality and quantity has diminished greatly since the last time I came maybe 6 months ago. I asked for half a portion of Chicken curry, and before ordering, asked how much it was compared to the full portion(what I always ordered before). They showed me a box and told me «it fills this box». Much to my surprise, I opened it and it had one and a half chicken drumsticks in curry sauce, and half of the box was rice. Plus, it didnt taste half as good as it used to. About 3 dollars worth of food in any other restaurant. Thinking it might have been a mistake, I complained and they said, «well, that is the half portion… it’s different from wing meat, and it takes time to make.» like if I was stupid or something. Not apologies whatsoever. If youre around this area, and dont want to get ripped off, head to Lucky Buddha or Little Panda(replacing City Café). Hey, even the pricey Firehouse gives you a much better bang for the buck. Skewerz, should maybe stick to wings and pizza. Or probably they suck too now.

When I don’t have time to cook I usually opt for food near my dorm, and this little place has some really good food but the wait is ridiculous. So do yourself a favor, call in or use to order so they can prep ahead of time. I’ve only tried their chicken tikka, chicken tikka pizza, and kabobs, and all are very good for the price and quality.

I love their Specialty Pizzas. The food is pretty average if you get the wrong stuff, If you do try their butter chicken pizza, you’ve hit the jackpot. That pizza has its own unique blend of Indian food and Pizza. If you have not tried this and you like Indian food. They also have a couple of Indian Sodas, which is amazing. I believe they had hookahs too when they started up. I am not sure if they still do that.

This place is scrumdiddlyumtious I’m the only one in this review who ordered the Combo Sampler Kabobs, and I must say that you guise are missing out! It’s suppose to come with lamb, chicken, and beef and MUCH to my chagrin they were out of lamb so they doubled the ground beef kabob. To be honest, the way they season the ground beef, you wouldn’t even be able to tell the difference… it’s THAT spiced up and juicy and delish. Grated onion, garlic, and cilantro are tantamount to the Cajun trinity when it comes to kabob meats and I applaud them as they clearly acknowledge that and know what they’re durrin. Hell, they were better than my kabobs and that’s saying a lot! If only they had that lamb, they’d get 5 stars. Nonetheless, I’m a fan(unless they piss me off and don’t have the frikkin lamb next time I come :)

I ordered the chili chicken curry with naan. When I got it home and opened it up, it looked like bad Chinese food. When I tasted it, the flavor was ok, good spiciness, but the texture made it inedible. Was battered, fried, then left to get mushy in sauce, which there wasn’t enough of. I’ve never had Indian food like this — usually in a curry, the meat is not battered. It was totally ruined. Plus the naan was half burnt, thin, and way too greasy. Come one it’s hard to f-up naan! They took quite awhile to cook the food, and only right at the end when our food was ready did they tell us they were out of ingredients to make the mango lassis we had ordered. They were also out of ingredients to make bubble tea. This is something you should know when your customers order! They didn’t even offer to refund our money, but gave us different drinks which were of less value. Wound up paying over $ 12 for a dinner I hardly ate, and what I did eat was not nice to my stomach. The only reason I’m giving them 2 stars instead of 1 is because my friends claim they make other good things like the chicken chili pizza or chicken 65.

If anyone had been in my apartment when I logged on to and found that I could get chicken tikka masala delivered to my house, they would never have let me live it down. There was a lot of happy dancing. Oh, joyous day! I ordered it up as well as some naan and was really pleasantly surprised by the price: sooo cheap! The delivery guy called me about 3 times lost(and my place is NOT hard to find) and therefore was about 15 minutes beyond the original estimate, but at that point I really didn’t care. I had chicken tikka masala in my hand and I didn’t have to go anywhere to get it. I opened it up and it was not the color I had hoped for: I’ve learned that proper color is SUCH an indicator of how good the chicken tikka masala will be. All in all, the dish was okay, bordering on mediocre. It was much spicier than I’m used to and the sauce just wasn’t all that flavorful. I didn’t even finish it. But, it fulfilled the craving. At least for the night. And yeah, I didn’t have to leave my place. So a big fat whopping extra star for that!

Finally, decent Indian food on the West Side! This is mostly a takeout place. We did eat at the restaurant, but there are only a few small tables. We ate outside and we were approached by a panhandler who asked us to buy him a meal.(I bared my teeth and belted him with a piece of chicken and he quickly scurried off). We ordered Chicken Tikka(chicken in tomato cream sauce) and Palaak Paneer(curried spinach with fresh cheese). Each dish came with 2 large pieces of delicious butter naan bread — flaky and decadent! Both dishes were really good. Very rich and spicy. We will be dining here again, and soon.

I live across the street from this place and I finally tried it. They’ve diversified into an indian/mediterranean/pizza place and offer a selection of cuisine from those genres. I walked out of there last week with a mango lassi, chicken tikka masala, rice, and naan for 10 dollars which is great. The Chicken Tikka was really tasty. The naan has some to be desired and it seems to be an egg based bread so I don’t feel its very traditional. The menu has a lot of options and I’m looking forward to trying some indian/american fusion items like butter chicken pizza, or wings indian style. They also have shawermas, gyros, falafal and many vegetarian options

Nandu’s food is excellent! Everything I have eaten has a perfect balance of flavors. The tandoori Chicken melted in my mouth, the Kaaba’s made me crazy with all the flavor. I have to say every time I eat skewerz food I eat enough for two because I enjoy it so much.(I think I should feel emabrrased but I don’t, haha) The first time I had Skewerz food I craved it again late at night and ate the left overs I saved for the next day(I never do that). I also never knew mango lassis could be so good. All the attention is put on the food. The food does not need any thing else to hype it up it speaks for its self. It is fun just hearing Nandu talk about the food he makes. He makes unique combinations that you will not find in any other restaurant(especially the Pizza). He is passionate about making the best. I have told all my friends about this place. I just moved from the bay area in California and we did not have food this good.
