Not a big fan of buffet, however, this one gives«buffet» a whole new meaning. Breakfast was great, full spread, continental, bagels with smoked fish(nova) and cream cheese, wet, fluffy scrambled eggs the way they should be and an omelette station. Dinner also was very good, however, the menu never changes. Had I not been comped my room and food, I might have opted to not go to the buffet on our last night but my wife insisted. My one and only complaint is that on the dessert bar on Thursday, one of the offerings was chocolate cupcakes with«#1DAD» plaques. Those were from Fathers Day the previous Sunday. Service was also very efficient. Was crowded but they did a great job moving the line and turning their tables.

Overall it was not worth the wait nor the price because of the food, the people working there were excellent. It was very disappointing. The line to get in was about 45 minutes. Once inside, I was surprised to find so few choices, and much of it below-average in quality. The only things that stood out in a positive way were that I had a great waiter/servers and some dishes looked nice.(emphasis on looked) I had some swordfish that was overcooked and dry, something that resembled kraft macaroni and cheese, and penne a la vodka with chicken which was rubbery(both the pasta and the chicken). The ravioli with lobster and scallops had very little meat and the far too much salt. The truffle parmesan french fries that tasted very little like truffles, and very much like parmesan, which would generally be okay, but they were also dripping in oil. There was also Borgata fried chicken that was literally wet; the skin was floppy rather than crisp. They had fried shrimp that were mostly breading, shrimp cocktail with watery sauce, and shrimp and pineapple salad that was slimy in a most unappetizing way. There were also onion rings with no seasoning. They had a couple pizzas that looked like leftovers from the start. There was a pile of ribs in a puddle of sauce. The clams and mussels were ok, but sort of dumped in the pan so many shells were empty. There were quite a few dessert options. The crème brûlée was ok, but the top wasn’t caramelized well and was watery. The cannoli seemed to have sat for too long, kind of soggy, but the filling was ok. Many of the pastries looked like store bought cupcakes.

If you’re a fan of buffets, Borgata is for you! Like typical casino buffets, it’s big and offers everything a palate can imagine. The Borgata difference is the quality of food, cleanliness and overall appearance — what you’d expect for the nicest casino resort in Atlantic City.

It’s very popular place and the line was super long. If you have black card, it’s only $ 20 and can wait less time, otherwise it’s $ 34 and it’s definitely not worth the price. The waiter was super busy and never refilled my drink. The food was ordinary and not many choices. The only thing eatable was the steak. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Came in for lunch right before Memorial Day weekend and there was still a line. It was $ 20 plus tax and I got a $ 5 beer. It wasn’t bad for a buffet but it’s not worth paying the jitney ride and waiting in line. Perhaps the dinner is better but they will jack up the price at night. For the lunch, I got only the brisket, tilapia and the stuffed pork. Avoid the pizzas and salads if you wNt the most bang for your dollar. It will definitely get you filled but I’ll only go back if I get it as part of a comp. Decent service. Three stars is about right for me. Maybe 3 ½ if the Borgata wasn’t out there.

Absolutely incredible. This buffet is up there w Bellagio’s buffet in vegas. Go and try it… words really can’t explain the massive amount of quality food here!

We came here recently for dinner and the pricing is definitely on the more expensive side as it was over $ 30 per person. The prices here for all the buffets in AC seem to be on par with what Vegas now charges. The selection of food isn’t very large, but just adequate enough to satisfy whatever you want to eat. The quality was only ok for what I thought Borgata should’ve been. I thought it should’ve been a better quality since this is one of the better casinos here in AC. The best item I tried that night was probably the prime rib which was cooked a nice medium rare and they have the au-jus mixed with some seasoning to give it more flavor. The other item I enjoyed was the rice vermicelli. It was good when I added some seasoned beef with it instead of the chicken that was cooked with it which was over cooked. The other items I tried like fried chicken, fried shrimp and beef bone marrow were only ok. The dessert selection here is only ok as they mostly have no sugar desserts which tastes bland to me. I was able to try the gelato, crème brulee and a couple cookies. They were all only ok and nothing that really gave a lasting impression. The weird thing about the buffet here was that they didn’t offer much in seafood even though it cost over $ 30 for a Saturday dinner. I was expecting they would have at least some kind of crab, but nothing at all. For that price I would for sure be expecting more for my $$$, not just regular buffet food you can get anywhere else. The dining room itself is nicely decorated and fancy with high ceiling and big chandeliers. What I really like is that they keep the place clean and doesn’t seem worn out even though this place has been in business quite a few years. The service was great as our plates were always cleared once we were finished with them and our glasses were always refilled. With the diminishing selection of buffets in AC since most casinos have gone away with them to make more money from stand alone restaurants instead, you just mostly have to go with the few that are still open. Sadly this diminishes the competition and the quality of the food goes down too. Still not too bad since I haven’t been here in awhile, but definitely not worth it.

Came here for dinner on a weekday spring night. Was relatively busy and had to wait on line for a short period. The Borgata buffet in my opinion is the best buffet in Atlantic City(that’s not saying much) but doesn’t compare to the great buffets of Las Vegas(Cosmo, Caesars, Wynn). That being said, generally speaking, this buffet has all you want in a buffet — lots of choices, relatively good food, clean serving areas, plenty of inventory and good waiter service(to take away plates and refill drinks) Skip the sushi, salad and pizza stations. The first two are a joke with limited choices(California rolls basically). The pizza looks ok but will fill you up. The ok items were the Asian station(although I’ve had better at Panda Express), prime rib, seafood items such as clams and mussels. The good items were the steaks, pastas and the specialty items such as the bone marrow, portobello mushrooms and pork belly. Also the dessert station is pretty solid. All in all, the Borgata buffet is a good choice for the hungry. Dinner costs are $ 33.95 per person(or $ 36.33 including tax) which is fair(includes soft drinks). Most people, including I, who have rewards get the buffet for free. Unclear if I would use real money to pay for this. Note you need to check the days and hours. Some weeks, tue and wed they are closed. Also some days they close as early as 8pm. Also remember to tip your server.

Good buffet, been here twice and the price was 33 dollars for dinner which for the selection is very good IMO. You can get prime rib from the carving station which by itself can run anywhere from 20 – 30 dollars and the quality was good. Good quality seafood as well, and then your typical American fare like fries, onion rings, ect. They had pizza but it wasn’t anything to write home about, the mussels and clams were good, didn’t try the Asian food but there’s a big selection here and a nice selection of deserts.

We stopped by last night before the comedy show, figured we’d grab a quick meal. Upon arrival there wasn’t a wait which I was surprised about as it was a Friday night. The five of us went and it came to $ 220.00 including tip. I don’t really do the buffet of AC thing and I was told that’s a bit on the pricey side. The place is clean and the waitress was very nice. The food was good, not great. They have a wide selection from Asian to Italian. I did enjoy the prime rib, carved right there to order. The sushi and the fried shrimp were also very good. The dessert selection left a bit to be desired. My favorite by far was the bread pudding. Overall it was a good meal, not sure if I would go out of my way to eat there again. I don’t want to say I’m anti buffet, just not my thing… Solid 3 ½– 4 stars.

We were recently comped Sunday Brunch at the buffet and I have to say I was impressed by the quality and selection of the food considering it was a buffet. They had good quality lox and bagels, braised bacon, turkey sausage, an omelette station, prime rib, and a number of other items, which I tried that were really good. The servers were friendly, and I was able to get a big glass of what tasted like fresh squeezed grapefruit juice. I would definitely return to the borgata buffet if I was staying there and wanted to go for a nice breakfast.

The best buffet in AC! It is a pricier buffet at $ 34 per person for dinner, BUT it does come with prime rib. However, when you have comps, you get free buffet! For dinner during the week, they stop seating at 8pm and close at 8:45. We just made it and started piling on our plates with as much food as we could. They have carving stations including prime rib which was delicious! The first slice of lamb was great but the second was dry. They have a wide selection of Chinese food, pasta, sushi, salad, seafood, meat, and everything else. They are replenished often and the food is very good. The dessert table is absolutely beautiful too. They have gelato and numerous cakes, cookies, cannolis, tarts, and more. I ate so many sweets in addition to meat. Definitely a must whenever I come down to AC but got to make sure to get the comps!

I know Las Vegas is known for their casino buffets, so I was expecting to be somewhat impressed with Atlantic City’s version. It’s been ages since I’ve been to a good buffets, but this one just didn’t live up to my expectations. We came for lunch on a Monday and luckily didn’t have to wait more than 10 minutes on line. The walls are all white and grey, and I know that’s an odd thing to complain about but I find it so off putting to eat in an environment like that. I’m sure it’s to suppress people’s appetites; we tend to eat more in vibrantly colored dining areas. But bright, glaring white it just downright unpleasant. And the people eating here all seemed miserable, ghost walking around the buffet, getting in the way, and staring with cold, lifeless gazes when you acknowledge them. Everything needs salt, they were clearly catering to the blue hairs who need to watch their sodium intake. The ribs were so tough that I actually couldn’t cut into them with a knife and fork. The pasta was often too under or over done. Fried chicken was dry on the inside and the skin wasn’t crisp. The shrimp in the salad section was as small as my pinky nail, almost translucent, and sitting in some kind of shrimp liquid– eek. The meatballs were tender, nicely seasoned, and come in a nice tomato sauce. Perfect for dipping their tasty fried green beans into. These were my two favorite food items. The dumplings and Bourbon chicken were surprisingly solid, and the pulled pork was alright. Don’t expect anything considered ethnic to be authentic, obviously. I was also pretty bummed to find out there’s no raw seafood section during the lunch hours. It’s not a buffet without those shrimp! All in all I arrived hungry and left full, so the buffet served its purpose but I wouldn’t come back.

This Buffet is fantastic and is a highlight every time I take a trip down to Atlantic City. The spread of food is unbelievable and everything I’ve ever had here is fresh and taste great below are a few highlights and recommendations for anyone who is planning on stopping by this establishment. –The Borgata Buffet is a tad pricey. It is best to sign up for a Borgata Comp card(Free service most casinos offer) and gain up comps to use for the Buffet. For example– I have only been to the Borgata three or four times and every other month or so I will get an offer for BOGO Buffet tickets. — Do not be afraid to try and sample everything. Although it may seem foolish to only take small spoonfuls of pasta or maybe just a little bite of chicken on your plate for your first time around this buffet is a great opportunity to try things that you may not be able to make or get at home. Since this buffet offers all different types and styles of food(Chinese/Asian, Seafood, Italian, American, Sushi) I use it as my chance to kind of try things I’m always afraid to order an actual restaurant. — SAVEROOMFORDESSERT! Although this may seem like a challenge given the four Buffy is full of food that is offered as a main course deal, the desert here is to die for as well. I always opt for the small scoop of gelato that they have and often you can get chocolate covered pretzels and different kinds of Tiramisu or cannolis.

Was a nice Breakfast buffet. But in AC I seen and tasted better. I was not impressed with it. The Omelet person was darn near making 1 omelet at a time. And a line was formed. So I opted for the pancakes. And the Portabella Mushroom with egg. Now that was very good. The Apple Creep. Awesome I had a few of them. The pastries were not as tasty as I hoped they would be. But I would go back and try the lunch /dinner buffet any way.

Stayed at the Borgata this week for the first time and the buffet was a real treat. The beautiful buffet hall is very clean and the wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was standard. They had all the usual breakfast fixings, a carving station with braised bacon and a make your own omelette station. The dinner buffet did offer a more intense variety of foods. They had your cold bar, pizza, Asian foods, carving stations, pastas, and so much more to choose from that it really made it had to pick what to have for dinner. The dessert section was amazing. Everything on the buffet was very fresh and tasty. My only cons was the price for dinner. $ 75 for 2 people is a bit pricey considering all the other food options at the Borgata. However, this was still one of the best experiences in a casino buffet we have ever had. Definitely try it out!

Standard Casino buffet, very much like the one at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. No way this buffet is worth $ 35 for dinner, but if you have Comps, then it’s easier to «digest». Didn’t find anything with great flavor, but nothing I sampled was bad either. Chinese selections could have been skipped though. Desserts, ah, they were OK, nothing memorable though. Basically it’s quantity over quality, a place to fill your belly. If you like shrimp(like I do), pile your plate high with those crustaceans, how could you go wrong?

We got two buffet dinner comped at the borgata so I have to write my review with that fact in mind. If I had to pay about $ 35/pp, I would have had a slightly higher standard. With all that said, I enjoyed dinner at this buffet. There was a wide selection of seafoods, salads, carving station, Chinese area(nothing there interested me. Very takeout style foods), italian area(mussels in white wine sauce were delish as were the huge cheese ravioli). The cocktail shrimps tasted like raw oysters and it was kind of funky. They also had huge prawns tossed with some sort of herb dressing those were enjoyable. The cocktail sauce had a kick to it and was very good. The dessert sections had a great selection and everything was good. We had chocolate mousse. Tiramisu. Blood orange sorbet. Mango sorbet. Crème brûlée(a fav amongst us). They also offered fresh fruit and crepes and many other items that we didn’t try. They have steaks, burgers, southern style fried chicken(love). Our waiter was very attentive and kind. Even if I had to pay $ 35, I would have been happy with the meal. I’ll definitely be back.

A very solid 3.5 They have a great variety of food and it seemed they were very good about keeping stations well stocked as soon as it seemed supply was running low. Everything from biscuits with sausage gravy to healthy omlettes to huevos rancheros can be had her. The servers are quick to get you your drinks and clearing plates as soon as you put down your fork. Oh and if you want a large glass of juice, they don’t offer the iron, you have to ask them for it.

We came to the Buffett while staying at Borgata. The price of it is $ 32.95 per person. Their is a wide selection/variety of food and you can get as much as you want. Our waiter who brought us our waters and was suppose to take the dirty plates was rarely around. It took forever to get refills of water, and we had to sit with dirty plates on the table for a bit. I didn’t think that the food was that good, nothing tasted like it was hot, just luke warm. I’ve gone to the Harrah’s buffet and I think that it is so much better there.
