Complimentary buffet for 2? Yes, Please! Thank you! Waterfront Buffet is a flavorful, variety packed, food-at-your-fingertips, delicious, eclectic buffet. Service was great. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly cashier, who took my comps with a smile. We were then seated(quite swiftly I might add). Then greeted by our waitress(don’t know her name) but she got our drink orders without a problem, always attentive to the table. The food? Everything we tried was delicious! From the carving station, to the Mongolian(wok) station, to the sushi, to the raw bar. Speaking of raw bar– for all you crab leg nuts out there… Waterfront Buffet offers BOTH Hot & Cold crab legs. No, this isn’t like some of the buffets in Las Vegas… don’t forget– you’re in Atlantic City! You just can’t compare. Back to the food– the desserts… you name it, the got it. Cupcakes, cheesecakes, pies, ice cream, brownies… even have a cook making doughnuts, then finished off several different ways! Great buffet & well worth the money.

Not as good as it used to be… brunch was way overpriced even with the BOGO deal. Food was mediocre. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t the worst buffet, just average. It used to be very good and offer a wider variety and fresher options. The chicken has also changed from the original recipe they once used. Unless your stock piling the crab legs, there are much better options around to choose from in AC.

Large Buffet Area near the Harrah’s Pool. Nice setting. Comfortable booths and tables. We prefer a booth overlooking the pool. Large variety and selection of food: Beef, Chicken, Pork, Seafood-(Crab Legs very popular), Shrimp, Fish, Pizza, Pasta, Asian Stir Fry, Dumplings, Noodles, Sushi; Salads, Soups, large selection of Good/Very Good Desserts, with some sugar free choices. Coffee, Tea, Soft Drinks. Service is very good. Quantity, Variety, Selection-Very Good. Quality and Flavor-Average. If Quantity and Variety is you goal, this would be a very good choice. I am rating it overall Average since I focus on Quality and Flavor. On certain days they have a Breakfast Buffet which I would rate Average for Quality and Flavor and Very Good for Quantity and Variety also.

We had dinner here on Monday night after someone recommended it to us. I know everyone is excited about the crab legs and although I do love crab they are annoying to eat. I took a few and gave up after I was getting bits of meat at a time. The Asian station was our favorite and we also tried the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, roast beef and the salad bar. All very good. They have a nice variety and a lot of cuisines. Dessert wasn’t that great but I think we were too stuffed at that point to eat anymore anyway. Overall a good value for dinner in AC!

This is one of the best buffet’s I’ve ever been to. Definitely a good value, especially if you have the Buy 1 Get 1 coupon. They have a HUGE assortment of everything. Great salads and soup, really good steaks and prime rib, decent pizza and asian faire. The fried chicken and collard greens are AMAZING. Pork tacos with shrimp are one of my favorite things to get. The crab legs are good! Yeah, they’re frozen, so what, they’re delicious, put them in your mouth. The sushi is actually good for a buffet and they have some good rolls sometimes(like the surf and turf roll, it’s actually steak and lobster… in a sushi roll. its good). Food overall is 5 stars, desert’s are great. Their cupcakes are to die for and their bread pudding is very good. THEYHAVEHOMEMADEDOUGHNUTHOLESTHATFRYINFRONTOFYOU! Minimal negatives: I wish the food was recycled more, especially on the Asian side. The Singapore Noodles and General Tso’s is very tasty but it’s always cold, same thing with the pizza for the most part. Wait service is hit or miss, we’ve had good and bad. Some servers forget to refill drinks and water, that shouldn’t be a thing. Also they let ANYONE who can pay into the buffet. This includes: obvious homeless people(who smell awful) people in their bathing suits wrapped in a towel families with crying babies Atlantic City weirdos(that’s a given) And one minor thing, can you guys get better crab cracker’s. The plastic ones you provide are awful and don’t work. Would it kill you to invest in some metal ones?

Came here on Christmas eve for the all you can eat. Most of the stuffs here are pretty delicious. I didn’t like the oysters. It didn’t seem very fresh. But the crab legs were pretty good quality and very delicious. LOVE the pizza here. The marinara sauce was so yummy and had so much flavor and the dough wasn’t too thin and had a nice texture to it and it had so much cheese on top! I would come back here just for the pizza. They also have tons of desserts for you to pick. Even sugar free options. Overall a solid buffet. I want to come back soon!

#1 buffet on the East Coast! It’s true! If you don’t mind paying $ 37 for adults and $ 15 per child(12 and under) lol. This is why we only come once and a while. It’s worth the drive from Philly. Afterwards, go for a walk on the boardwalk to walk off all of the food. You’ll definitely find something that you love to eat here. Or you can gamble often to earn some comps to go toward your buffet or a free room so you don’t have to drive home on such a full stomach. In conclusion, I love the waterfront buffet!

Hubby and I, enjoying our mini-moon in Atlantic City, decided on our second night to splurge($$$) and check out the Waterfront Buffet at our hotel — Harrah’s Resort. Upon first glance, it certainly looks impressive. Neat, clean, and bountiful, lovely atmosphere, friendly and courteous weight staff. Had it been $ 10-$ 15 cheaper, I don’t think we would have had many complaints — but for $ 37 per person, I expect a little«more.» Some of the food was certainly yummy(the Italian fair especially, along with the baked potato bar, were delicious — and of course all the fresh steamed crab legs you can precariously balance on your plate LOL… I still don’t get what the big deal is) but a lot of the food was pretty«meh.»(Numerous meats were dry, the Mexican and Asian stations needed fresher turn-over as much of it looked like it had been sitting out for a while drying out and the sushi was nothing to write home about.) Also — don’t let the expanse of desserts fool you — we tried a decent selection of them and found none all that appealing. Most of the desserts seemed obviously«pre-fab» and did the opposite of impress.(When we left we walked down the hall to one of the other eateries at the casino and had amazing gilato — now that’s where you wanna spend your money!!)

Crab legs, crab legs, crab legs. The rest of the food is meh. Pretty steep, but most people get comped anyway.

We decided to give the buffet another chance for dinner. This was a much different experience and we had a great time! Everything we had was excellent. The servers at the stations were very friendly as well. The guy doing steaks was fun and funny. There was so much to chose from we couldn’t possibly try it all and we wanted to! Great job Harrahs. We will be back

Altho the waitstaff are friendly and excellent – this buffet is just«ok» for the price. Frozen Snow crab legs are freshly steamed – not really tasty – but adequate. Salad table is good and has a wide selection of fresh ingredients. Fried chicken is good. Steamship round of beef which they slice for you is tasteless and tough. Turkey which they slice was dried out. Fish tacos were dry-soft tortilla shell was hard-tacos had a very small amount of ingredients in them. Mussels/clams fra diavlo were good. However I cannot«rave» about anything being spectacular. «California rolls» on the«sushi» table were«meh?» Desserts??? Bread pudding and ice cream are your best bets. Flourless brownie was nothing. Peanut butter salted caramel brownie thing was vile. «tiarmisu» tasted like birthday cake. Allot of sweet stuff in already prepared pasty shells to give the impression that there are ALLOT of dessert choices. However – I must say it is quite entertaining watching the patrons try to put as many snow crab legs on their plate as humanly possible then do a balancing act walking back to their tables. People sure make pigs of themselves with those snow crab legs!!! I don’t get it! I’ve had better all around. Not worth $ 35.00

Hubby and I came in for dinner on a weeknight about a month ago. We had such a pleasant experience! The line was a bit long, as we got in line right at 4pm when they opened for dinner… Understandable. The crab legs must’ve been the best crab legs at a buffet I’ve ever eaten! And mind you I’ve tried many, many Vegas buffets. They were warm, fresh, so soft and buttery… Mmmmm. Service was great! Plates were cleared quickly and drinks refilled regularly. Overall a fantastic experience :) I believe the price was $ 34.99/per person for dinner. Can’t wait to return!

When you are eating at the buffet and concurrently trying to think of how can you rectify the meal — that’s bad news. Service was piss poor — the disgruntled server was snippy with just taking our drink orders. When we asked what kinds of hot tea they have, she was like«so you want Lipton?». We were like huh? What else do you have? Then, she’s like«Lipton that’s it, do you want it or not?» We felt so rushed by her being so abrupt and settled for hot water. Look, I understand I can’t expect much service at a buffet(oh wait, I actually can but those buffets are in Vegas) but I repeat, this was a simple beverage order. But my biggest gripe is that there’s no variety and barely any vegetables — only veggies I saw were at the Asian stir fry station which no one even used, and I can see why because all the fresh veggies were wilted. The salad bar is a joke as well. Even the meat selection(which is what they had the most of compared to the other foods) were underwhelming. I was so bored with my choices that I just ended up going back to the chicken wings! Chicken wings!!! The carb selection was meager as well — just mashed potatoes and«spoon bread»(bread baked into a cup) and some fried rice and noodles in the Asian section — that’s it! If you are looking for a well rounded meal with meat, veggies, and carbs, keep searching and just go to a regular restaurant. We regretted not going to Ruth Chris instead. Seriously, you are better off eating a la carte at another restaurant. At $ 42.99 per person for dinner — this was a huge mistake.

AC buffets were a lot more expensive & lacking than Vegas, Reno or Louisiana. But, all in all most of the food I ate was fairly good. There was a good selection, but some things looked a bit sad & old, I stayed away from anything that visually didn’t look appealing. overall it was a good experience, but I wouldn’t spend the money again. What’s a girl to do? When out of town, try a casino buffet.

In all of the East coast this is hands down, this is THE Best Buffet I have ever had. Prime Ribs and Beef Brisket next to Sirloin Steaks, Hot Crab Legs, Salmon, Paella, Pasteles, Siu Mai, Ha Gow, Custom Lo Mein in one? Saturdays and Sundays typically have a better seafood selection but incredible buffet, classy interior and spacious seating. Also if they close and you’re still eating, they won’t rush you to leave. As a matter of fact three waitresses were waiting for me and my friend without any fuss while they kept themselves entertained. Also if you happen to still be eating when your waiter/waitress’ shift just happened to end, they don’t hustle you for tips. Been here five times already and it was either because it was free or a Buy One Get One Free offer and I will be going again next week as I made a promise to go at least once every 6 months(Usually all the other times I’m at Mohegan’s Seasons buffet as it’s always included in the bus package). Have not tried Borgata, so don’t knock me just yet. :-)

What you need: 1. Crab Legs. 2. Mac & Cheese 3. Desserts. All of them. Don’t eat all day, then eat your heart out. Nice atmosphere; Overall, it was greatly enjoyed, but will probably just be a once-time dining experience at this price point.

Brunch and dinner is a HUGE difference! They have a better selection and of course we can’t forget about the crab legs. They offer pasta, hot foods, salad, pizza, noodles, udon and a whole section just for crab legs. There’s also cocktail shrimp. Definitely worth it ONLY if you have comps or a buy one get one free offer which I luckily did. 36 dollars for 2 people is a pretty sweet deal when it comes with seafood, I went to check out palace Court, harrah’s is definitely the better one. Better variety and the food looks fresher!

The dinner buffet is pretty good. There is a huge selection of items and if you’re a seafood lover(which I am not), this place is perfect. The salad bar is fun and they have someone who chop your salad up for you. There is a also a carving station, pizza, stir fry with rice and sushi. The dessert buffet was probably our favorite part. Cupcakes, cheesecakes, cookies, and ice cream sundaes! So much from which to choose! The line gets pretty long to get in. Once you’re in, though, you’re escorted to a table and a server takes care of getting your drinks and clearing dishes as you finish them.
