This buffet is ok if you don’t have high expectations of the food quality or the selection of food offered. The one thing I liked here was that they had snow crab which they didn’t have at the Borgata buffet even though the Borgata was more expensive. The crab was pre-cracked which made for easy eating and I was able to enjoy quite a few pieces. They also have a carving station which had roast beef and other items. The beef was kind of overcooked and a bit dry if not for the au-jus. The selection here isn’t very big compared to other buffets I have been to, but since I haven’t been here before I thought it was good to try it at least once. You can see almost the entire size of the buffet once you step up to the cashier and pay. Out of the all the items I tried that evening there really wasn’t anything to write home about, but the only comforting thing was that I left full and satisfied with what I ate. I did enjoy their soft serve ice cream at the end of the meal which was just the perfect dessert after a big meal. The price is a bit higher than what I thought it should have been considering the quality and the overall size of the buffet. Service here was great as our plates were always cleared and they even had an extra big bowl to keep all our crab shells separate from our plate. Even though this is an older buffet and one of the few still in business I came here not expecting much, but as long as I left here full and satisfied I was more than happy. If you come here expecting a glamorous buffet, you’ve come to the wrong place.

Four of us went to breakfast here. It’s more money than I thought we’d spend especially since the food wasn’t anything great. I had a nice sirloin steak though that had very little fat and was super tender. Husband had an omelette made to order that he liked. Your basic sausage and bacon all good. What really butt hurt was that we were finishing up and our server asked if we were done with the hot foods. We said yes and then we saw them coming out with the crab legs. Dang! So if we had waited maybe 30 more minutes we could have had the lunch buffet and maybe then I could justify the price.

Reviewed by Leslie M. I went here a few years ago and I am surprised it is still in operation! Well here is my review from that time: I know a buffet is to feed the masses but this shouldn’t even be fed to my 9 enemies in my old building. It is very depressing, that is the way that can only describe the food. I shudder to think about the people that didn’t have comps for and actually had to pay. The price is a little higher than most buffets, I guess because of the giant crab legs they serve that people stack a mile high on their plates. The food is very blah, even the rice and vegetables, plastic vegetables anyone? The steamed clams are so small and the seafood rigatoni was white and globby, like Elmer’s Glue. The baked potatoes are OK as long as you douse them with sour cream, butter and melted cheddar. They have Surf and Turf, didn’t see any turf, but the surf was mêlée and had the worst smell of ammonia that I have ever smelt. Poor lobster had to waste his life for this! Anyone would be taking a real chance to eat this and get deathly sick and stuck in AC, which I dreaded might happen. From the dinner rolls right down to the dessert, it gradually got worse! I am sure it is hard to cook for this many people at once, but they somehow need to get it together! This place does not depict buffets though, I have been to many glorious ones. After the first time, I should have learned my lesson, even though it was comped, this is one time you can’t say«the best things in life are free.» One good thing is it is a spacious bright dining room with a view of the boardwalk and is much more comfortable than the Seaside Café, but it has a convalescent home feel to it like the taste of the food.

Decided to have the breakfast buffet our last day before heading on home. We wanted to fill our bellies to compacity before the long ride. It was exactly what I imagined. Some items better them others but certainly not worth 19.95 a person. Staff was awesome and super efficient. They offered sirloin steak which my 12yo was just thrilled with. I think she ate 4pcs.lol. Although once she ridded of the fat it may have been the equivalent of 1 ½pc. It was a buffet and we were more then satisfied and got exactly what we expected. The staff was sweet so we got a bonus

Definitely the best buffet in Atlantic city, perhaps the whole east coast. Nice people. Amazing chefs. It’s like a Ruth Chris of buffet casino food. I definitely recommend it.

I absolutely love the TROP. But this buffet sucks. I typically don’t eat at buffets, but I was hoping this one was good since I always stay at the TROP when in AC. The first time at this buffet was for breakfast. It was horrible. The selection was okay but not a wide variety. I had to stuff myself with cereal and yogurt just to get a full feeling. The bagels and pastries seemed stale and the toasters didn’t even work! Even the fruit sucked. It wasn’t fresh; heavy syrup canned fruit. Eeeeeew. The next time I visited this place was for dinner this weekend. Once again I was disappointed. For the price I think there should be more of a variety. The quality of the seafood was poor and it was very dry. However I will give them a pass for the effort but I will never go to this place again. As I mentioned I’m not a fan of buffets so I wasn’t expecting much. However I will give them a pass for the effort but I will never go to this place again.

This buffet is the best one of the bunch. We’ve tried them all and they’re all around the same price. Fresh food, fantastic ribs, and waitstaff is on it. We went 3 times this last stay in AC. If you go between 3&5 there aren’t many people there at all.

Wow $ 30 for ordinary food in an ordinary location. Unlike Las Vegas you have to pay for the parking here so you’re already down $ 10 when you show up at the door. You don’t get a lot of choice for $ 30. Interesting it was seafood night and the choices of seafood were appallingly small. I will have to look for other places in this failing town.

You can’t expect anything fancy. It’s a casino buffet. The food is okay, the servers are attentive, and we left super full and happy. The best thing is that there is no extra charge for seafood, and they offer wine for $ 4 per glass. Between two of us, we probably had 10 plates of crab legs plus about 6 more plates of other food and desserts. Would definitely go back, especially if I had enough comp dollars.

I went here because my boyfriend’s grandparent had a comp. buffet. The service was good, but the food was iffy. The servers did a very good job of cleaning the tables when it got full. I sampled the fried chicken and it w as mushy and just not the best thing to get. The seafood was decent. I mostly had the crab legs, the first batch i had was cold, but the next batch wasnt to bad. The shirmp were cocktail styled and had the shell on it, but it was very easy to take off. For sides I had the mashed potatoes and the tortellini. I really enjoyed the tortellini! The best part to me was the dessert. There was a good variety and the ones i had tasted yummy!!!

I was hoping that as buffet goes that this one would at least get a pass. Not the case. Had the breakfast buffet. It was not a good one. No real variety. The food was cold and greasy. The oatmeal had the consistency of compound. They had issues with the equipment. For goodness sakes the toasters were not working properly.(Only one side of the bread would toast. The only thing passable was the coffee… barely. Maybe the lunch @ dinner are better, but skip this one for breakfast.

Definitely not worth $ 30 to eat there. Not much food selection. When you go during the weekdays and its not busy, the food is not that fresh. The only thing worth eating was the crab legs but they cook it in water for so long that there is no flavor to the crab legs. Do not recommend going there at all. Hooters next door will be a better option and half the price too.

Not the best food, but alright. The prime rib was really good, everything else was bland. My wife liked the crab legs. The service was good. Overall it was decent. It was not worth nowhere near the price they are charging. For what they charge, you can go to buffet at Harrah’s, which is easily 10x better. The problem is that Harrah’s sucks.

The concierge said fiesta was the best buffet around atlantic city. I checked reviews and gave it a try. Two of us full price at $ 30 each with tax total $ 60.00. If I could give it zero stars I would. I am going to be specific about the choices. Salad bar looked very nice, did not try it. Seafood area — crab legs — no taste, hard to get any meat out. just ok mussels — flavorless, over cooked. cold peel your self shrimp — old, yellow ends, and not fresh tasting. Inedible Salmon with tiny shrimp covered by a sauce; salmon tasted fishy. Inedible Prime rib — overdone and hard, I asked the chef who was slicing it if it was overdone, he said no, but it was inedible. The one before was also overdone. Sautéed steak looked boiled — did not try it. BBQ ribs –were tender with way too much BBQ sauce. I did not try the lots of potatoes or vegetables, Mac and cheese, and other fillers. They had Chinese food — did not try that. Soup was tomato basil and chicken gumbo: tried a little of each: tomato okay Chicken gumbo very very peppery. Was not asked if I wanted coffee, so I asked if it came with it, I was told yes and had a cup. It was good. Desserts looked okay, I did not try them. Sooooooooo disappointed. Will never ever go to that buffet again, I don’t think I will ever go to another buffet again as none of them have decent reviews. Serving pans dented. my coffee Cup had dried food on the outside of the cup. There was a stain on the seat behind my daughter. Servers very friendly and it is a shame that the experience is so poor. All this shows a lack of standards and leadership. Shame, it could easily be better with training and management. Warning!!! Don’t waste your time or your money.

While heading out to the boardwalk my wife and I would walk pass this buffet, each time telling each other we have to try it out. So we finally did, and we decided on the breakfast buffet. After paying, my wife and I chose to sit at a table next to the window where we could see the boardwalk. Once seated it took sometime but the person responsible for our area finally came and took our drink order. After placing the drink order it was off to the races. My expectations for breakfast buffets aren’t that extreme and are pretty simple: — Clean Buffet — Standard food items(eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes/waffles) — Hot food — Food stays replenished Anything else is an added bonus in my eyes and this place lived to my basic stsndards with some additions. After stuffing my face with all the breakfast awesomeness I saved just enough room for dessert. And let me just ssy that I was very happy with there sweets, I mean thsse sweets were colossal size. All I know is that by the time I was finished I felt life I was about to burst. Which was my goal from the beginning. I will most definitively go back again because I was prwtty satisfied.

Due to the huge amount of people in the Tropicana for the AC airshow, we ended up eating breakfast at the Fiesta buffett. We weren’t expecting much more than mediocre breakfast fare — they had regular American breakfast foods, pastries, and beef with broccoli and egg rolls. We stuck to the breakfast foods — eggs, toast, bacon, home fries, etc. No shellfish, undercooked fish or chicken… Then, we spent the remainder of the day in our hotel room taking turns throwing up said buffet. What a trip.

I was brought here by relatives when I was visiting. I thought to myself, «Sure! Why not?» So much regret. They hyped up this seafood buffet, but when it came down to it: the seafood quality was poor, it was dry, and it was obvious the seafood origins were frozen or mass manufactured. (I live in Las Vegas so I, unfortunately, know my buffets very well.) The rest of the food was just like the seafood. The price is very well not worth it for this bland stuff they call food. And the worst part of all? There was a single strand, of black hair inside of my eggroll. Sure the service might be ok, but I do not like to question the origins of my food. No thanks. Never again.

$ 20 for a breakfast buffet isn’t outrageous IF the quality is decent. This was not and the minute we paid for it, I regretted it. They do have made to order eggs and omelettes, but that’s the highlight. The bacon was burnt, and there just wasn’t decent things that accompany it. You’re better off going to Dunkin Donuts.
