Mmmm… gelato. Good selection of flavors to choose from for a cold snack break. They actually give you a decent amount in a small cup for less than $ 4. Was able to try a bunch of flavors too before settling on one. Either sit in the back or walk around the casino floor while snacking. Located right next to the Metropolitan restaurant.

After a long evening at the blackjack tables, nothing makes the GF happier than a scoop or three from Gelato at the Borgata. Located within the Metropolitan Café, Gelato offers delicious, creamy gelati for every taste. Similar to how Capogiro in Philly showcases their products, it’s nice to see the base ingredients atop the finished product. Small Cup($ 3.50) Reese’s peanut butter, mint The GF decided to juxtapose the heaviness of Reese’s peanut butter with a scoop of cool, light mint. A perfectly dichotomous cup of gelati, with a whole Reese’s peanut butter cup on top! While the depth of flavor isn’t as revelatory as Capogiro, Gelato at the Borgata holds its own. Completely affordable and abundantly scooped, Gelato offers a refreshing break from the noise of the slots and the smoke of the casino.

Such a clutch place in the Borgata! Sharing space next to the Metropolitan restaurant, Gelato has all you could ask for. My favorite flavor gelato is the pistachio, and you are allowed to sample if you are unsure. They also have smoothies and other assorted desserts if you want something different. There’s a seating area in the back and they are open late on the weekends. They serve the gelato with wooden spoons which is kind of nostalgic. The small is $ 3.50 and a nice sized portion, they also accept your Borgata card and only take true value from it if you use it(Starbucks and Fatburger charge double if you use your Borgata card.). If you are staying(or partying) in the Borgata you will find this place very valuable.

I wanted to try a cup of vanilla and pistachio. The lady behind the counter only heard pistachio so i ended up with just one flavor. I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it because a line has started to form. Needless to say, I was not able to finish the whole thing. I felt so guilty about having to throw the unfinished portion, but it was just too much pistachio for me. My husband and I should have just shared.

The Gelato bar next to the Oyster Bar of the Metropolitan restaurant offers a modest selection of Gelato for about $ 3.50 a cup. The flavors offered seemed a bit tame, but would best accommodate the general masses. Over all what I tried was boring to my palate, and despite my sweet tooth, one stop was enough during my visit. It’s no where near the likes of Palmero Bruschi… but then again we are a long way from Italy.
