First time At Gordon Ramsay Pub. Very nice setting, great staff. Good Food. Came out super fast. Came for Valentines which was very nice. Good drink selection but a bit pricey. Pot Pie was great. Shepherds Pie was pretty good.

I’ve dined here 3 times and every time it was a awesome meal. The signature Beef Wellington is a great choice but my favorite is the prime rib. Also def try the Date cake desert.

Hmmm. Not too excited about this place. The wedge salad was drowning in dressing, the tomatoes were tiny and flavorless and the bacon was scarce. As for my entrée, the seafood pot pie had an awful bland mashed potato whip on the top layer and inside was bland lobster.

First review of 2016 might as well be my birthday dinner at the illustrious G Ramsay’s. I’ve been to the Vegas version which was higher end complete with snooty uptight service. Pleasantly the AC pub is much more chill and laid back much like most of us Jersey folk. The place was empty at our 5pm reservation so the open atrium style seating didn’t get noisy but that might be an issue for late dining. I started with the Hong Kong Punch with lychee nut garnish. The drink was bitter and I passed the white blobish nut off to a more adventurous member of my party. The lobster app was the perfect warm up bite for two with its fresh meaty chunks brightened up w a pop of citrus zest and toasted roll. I wanted to try the scallops so bad but the restaurant was unwilling to serve one solo as an app. Not sure I wanted to commit to them as an entrée I ended up instead with the tried and true beef Wellington. The pastry was flaked buttery bliss while the meat was tender and succulent. I love peas and it seems rare to see them on a menu. Regrettably, I let the waitress talk me out of a side of peas two ways since a serving is already included w the dish. The serving is about a teaspoon full which left me wanting more. The coming snow storm rushed us out before dessert. Sticky toffee pudding I will be back for you! I’m hopeful a return visit is in my future!

Stayed at Bally’s on a business trip and thought I’d check out the Pub, as its Vegas location is one of my favorites for a quick, casual meal. Food was great but service definitely needs improvement. From the looks of things, they were very short of staff. I could definitely see Gordon fuming and yelling at the top of his lungs if he had been there to witness it in person. Note, this was late on a Monday night though, so perhaps they had a larger-than-average crowd and hadn’t anticipated it.

Taking a break from intense table gaming at Caesar’s, we decided to have dinner at the local celebrity chef restaurant, Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill. I think that Gordon Ramsay needs to personally come down and dine here because I doubt he would have soft words for this restaurant that has his name plastered on it. Typical for the more expensive restaurants in Atlantic City casinos, you will not be seated in the main dining area without a reservation. That’s acceptable but it honestly did not seem busy the night we went. Regardless of the multitude of free tables in the back, we were seated closer to the entrance. These tables had ridiculous high chairs without backs. Where are we supposed to put our coats? On our laps? Real classy. You’re in the triple $$$ range here so expect everything to be pricey. Still, the theme of the restaurant is British pub and that doesn’t exactly evoke expensiveness. They don’t offer bread here which isn’t typically a big knock but once again, triple dollar sign restaurant. The menu is all over the place with some bar food(nachos, burgers, wings) and some more classy British stuff(beef wellington, scotch egg, butter chicken). This place really needs to figure out its identity if it’s going to be charging some of these exorbitant prices. We ordered the scotch egg, the calamari, two burgers, beef wellington, and truffle chips. The appetizers were solid but small portioned. I really couldn’t taste the difference between these«Gordon Ramsay» appetizers and their regular restaurant equivalents. For some reason, our dinners took ridiculously long to cook. I saw many tables be seated after us and receive steak before us. I know that beef wellington requires baking time but given that it’s a medium-rare steak dish, we really shouldn’t be sitting around forever. Our waiter only barely came a few times to assure us of our food coming soon, despite our very apparent irritations. Ultimately, the beef wellington did not disappoint with its flakiness and tenderness, even if the $ 45+ price tag seemed a little ludicrous. Unfortunately my friends’ burgers were all overcooked and their meals were effectively ruined. The truffle chips were meh, they didn’t scream«celebrity chef came up with this.» The menu has two prices, one for reward card members and one for non-members. There really is no reason to be paying the full price when you can easily get a reward card for free at the casino front desk. Also, purchasing basically any entrée here will validate your self-parking. Overall, this restaurant was a disappointment. It’s easy to imagine Gordon Ramsay giving an angry rant here because basically nothing about this restaurant was above mediocre. Save yourself the slots winnings and head somewhere else.

Let me start off with: this is only a 3 star review because of the lobster roll. We visited Caesar’s specifically because Gordon Ramsey Pub and Grill was there, so we spent the majority of our time in that casino until 5pm when they opened(seems a little late to be open for food in a casino when people are there all the time). At about 4:45, we went into the bar and sat at the bar with very friendly service from the bartender. It was happy hour, but only beers on tap and wine were on happy hour. I didn’t appreciate this mainly due to the weak selection of beers on tap, most were domestic or very popular«micro» brews. I wanted something different so I ordered a $ 6 can of beer that got poured in a glass. When 5pm rolled around we stared at the menu in disbelief at the prices. Some things made sense: beef dishes for $ 45+, burger for $ 17, and others. What didn’t make sense was fish and chips for $ 31. What even. Especially since the menu did not say the type of fish… so am I paying $ 31 for cod and French fries? Who knows and if so, that’s ludicrous. Even the apps were expensive(I don’t remember the exact prices but we didn’t get any because the value wasn’t there). I ended up with the lobster roll because it was *only* $ 20. My husband got the pub burger. My lobster roll was DELISH! It was all lobster that was lightly dressed in a buttery, perfect roll. Yum. My husband’s burger was $ 17 of underwhelming sadness. The menu described this delicious creation, but upon receiving it, it was bland and blah. Very unfortunate. The fries were so-so, as well. Like spice them up, Ramsey! I don’t think that we will be visiting this particular GR restaurant again, which is too bad because we moved from the PNW to philly and this was exciting to have a GR restaurant so close. Try again, Gordon, try again.

It’s a faux British pub in the middle of a casino. If you’re expecting something to inspire the senses to deliver you to jolly old England, you need to adjust your expectations downward. That said, the furnishings are done well. The menu(and particularly the beer list) are respectable. The food is above average(fish and chips, what else) and the service was what you’d expect inside one of the nicest casinos still remaining in Atlantic City. Overall a positive experience, but let’s not go crazy here. It is what it is.

This place is awesome! Whether you are a fan of the show, «Hell’s Kitchen» or just like food you should not be disappointed. Every Time we have come the service has been outstanding and the food noteworthy. This time we shared the beef Wellington and my son had the pub spots. The Wellington was so tender and delicious that I forgot that it contained mushrooms– which I despise. My son was so enthralled with all of the passersby that he only at half of his meal. My husband and I split the other slider– not because we were not full, the half Wellington was more than sufficient, but they looked amazing too. They were! Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned and needed no condiments. The last time we were able to meet Hell’s Kitchen winner, La Tasha McCutchen– who is awesomely kind and personable. We did not bother her this time but, had a sighting as we languished in the afterglow of our meal. If you are in Atlantic City, I highly recommend dining here and partaking of some of the culinary delights.

Pretty spectacular. If you follow Chef Ramsay, the man is all about perfection. I will say this experience was well near«perfection» as a few minor things«missed the mark» for me and my date. From the start, the ambience, restaurant décor and set up was just contemporary, clean, casual and inviting. It has a very unique«in-hotel» restaurant layout and nothing seemed too cluttered or out of place. It was just right. Heading up to the hostess, the invitation was presented well with great smiles and a friendly demeanor that just gets the experience started on the«right-track». As we made our way in, we were seated in a corner booth which gave us a great view back to the restaurant and also a decent amount of privacy where other guests wouldn’t be in on our conversations, rubbing elbows or hindering our experience. The waitress Nicki came up and was friendly. Took our orders and just left us sitting well without feeling neglected nor overwhelmed by interruptions during our time with her. Service timing started off impeccable. We ordered CRIPSY calarmi, crispy chicken and a salmon dish that became the highlight of the evening. It was all delivered in a perfect time frame that the calamari started us off well and the main dishes didn’t push it right behind… Gave us time to enjoy the appetizer then bring us to the main dish. Salmon was phenomenal, the chicken sauce and sides were great but I will say a little let-down by the chicken. There wasn’t a wow factor to it, just decently seasoned chicken I honestly feel I could cook at home. Slight let-down #1. Now, the other part where it was a little off was that we stopped seeing Nicki and this older waitress began to come to our table and seemed to take over the service. This lady’s demeanor was overall pleasant but as the rest of the dinner progressed, her constant ‘check-ins’, questions and comments to our table started to be a tad bit annoying. Perfect«timing» of service began to be on the over-bearing side. Slight let-down #2 and last of them. Needless to say, we(my date and I) forced ourselves to make room for dessert. You have to when you’re here. As the dessert menu came out you could see it was decently priced. As our dessert came out, the first bite was a Big Bang of flavor that was great finale to an overall great dinner. We ordered the Toffee pudding — which was told to us to be Chef Ramsay’s mother’s own recipe. Well, once again, it was delicious. There was just a perfect amount to not have us feeling sick from overeating but satisfied as if it were the last«cherry on top». It was light… It was satisfying. The dinner came to an end and I will say I left 4 stars out of 5. I had a near-perfect experience.

Always a pleasure to dine at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant so I knew I was in for a treat when coming here even with the high expectations I had for the michelin star rated chef. The restaurant itself is in an open atmosphere in the lobby of Caesar’s Palace that provides for a great atmosphere of a British style pub in a restaurant setting. The menu includes all the British classics like scotch eggs, bangers and mash, & fish n chips but I opted for the ever popular signature beef wellington because… why not? The beef came out perfectly cook, inside a tightly wrapped pastry with a hearty helping of duxelles and ham all holding the main attraction, the beefy fillet. I’ve tried making my own before and although it tasted pretty good, this one was textbook. For starters I split a caesar salad which was fresh and had all the flavor I was looking for. Pair this with some good British libations and you are on your way to Buckingham Palace. Service is great, attentive, and friendly which helped add to the overall experience. I definitely recommend coming here to experience some quality food cooked the right way, its even worth spending your gambling winnings on!

My girlfriend took me here for my birthday dinner, and I enjoyed myself! The restaurant itself has a very intimate/classy feel to it, but not overly intimidating. Our server was amazing and really made made us feel welcomed! She was willing to answer any questions we had and was great just to chat with! Our food was absolutely delicious and really hit the spot! The wings tasted great and the dates wrapped in bacon was a sweet & savory treat. The Shepard’s pie as my entrée was great with the large chunks of lamb and the potatoes on top were amazingly cheesy! The sticky toffee pudding along with the Left Hand beer float was a great way to end the meal! I am thrilled that I had a chance to eat at one of Ramsay’s restaurants and will hope to return!

Bar Only Review— The mad Russian and I had some reservations at another restaurant at Caesars in AC but decided to have a drink before we headed out. I was waiting for her to finish getting ready, so I went down to have a beer and I’m very glad I did. You don’t expect the help to be very enthused if they have to work the night before Thanksgiving, but our bartender Rich was lively, animated and truly friendly. He suggested a honey porter ale, and I took him up on it. Good enough to have another. MR had a signature cocktail– Mind the Gap, something with ginger and passionfruit pearls on the bottom that she found to be amazing– both warming to the insides and fresh at the same time. Great place to hang out and have a drink to get your night started. If we make it back, we will report on the food.

This is yet another amazing Ramsey restaurant. You will not be disappointed when coming to this Atlantic City gem! For an app, try the calamari, by far the best we have ever had. We were in a group of 3 so here is the run down on the entrees. The beef Wellington is to die for! It was cooked perfectly and every bite was amazing! The chicken dish was also a keeper! The most juicy and tender you will ever eat! Finally, the fish and chips was incredible! It deserves a better title! This Gordon location meets and exceeds all expectations! Go and try it, you will be amazed!

Ok. Lemme make this clear up front. Unilocal reviewers are one tuff group. I always review Unilocal before I visit an establishment and I was apprehensive coming to this restaurant after reading these reviews. But I am a loyal Ramsey restaurant fan so no way things could have been that bad. 1. Reservations: we were a little late for reservations and the place was a lil busy but they seated us in seconds! 2. Waiting for the waiter, we see Hells Kitchen winner LaTasha. My husband is a huge fan of the show and he got to listen to her experiences with Ramsey 3. Server victor was on point with his recommendations and was sweet 4. Décor was great. It’s was an upscale Pub 5. Food came out amazingly quick. And YUM. I had burger and hubby had rib roast. 6. Sticky toffee pudding was to die for. Manager came by to ask how we were doing. 7. We were checked out quick and able to get to our show on time. I am glad I had a positive experience and I expected no less from Ramsey. I would def come back.

Ate here before a concert at Caesar’s Palace and everyone loved their meal! I was a little confused by the waitstaff’s outfits(white and black herringbone?), but hey, they were nice and efficient so who cares what they’re wearing! I ordered the salmon and my mom and friend ordered a burger. My salmon was perfectly cooked. It was probably some of the most moist salmon I’ve ever had. I’m a sucker for lemon with my seafood and let me tell you, the sauce on the side of the salmon was delicious! I wish we could have stayed longer to try more dishes and chill for a while, but as usual we were late for the concert and in a hurry. Next time I’m in AC, I’ll be sure to stop by!

But for the service, I would have given it 4 Stars. We stopped in late afternoon for lunch today and overall it was a pretty good experience food-wise. The hostess promptly sat us at a tw0-seater with these great high back armchairs. They are a bit narrow but they’re great. My dining partner felt that they weren’t as comfortable as I did. The server came over shortly and took our drink orders. I am a cider drinker and my first request, the German Possmann on the menu was not available since it was discontinued so I ordered a French Cidre Bouché Brut de Normandie. Interestingly, the website menu is current but the actual paper menu in the restaurant is not. We ordered a couple of starters, the Scotch Eggs and the Toad-in-the-Hole. The Scotch eggs were perfect. Perfect soft-boiled egg, tasty sausage and a crisp exterior. Served with HP braised cabbage and English mustard it was delicious. The Toad-in-the-Hole was also very good. Nice Yorkshire pudding with a robust sausage and yummy gravy underneath. We shared the starters and they were both great. For our entrées, I ordered the Shepherd’s Pie and my dining partner the Prime Rib and Cheek sandwich. My Shepherd’s Pie was great. Delicious lamb filling and veg and wonderful cheddar mashed potatoes. Served in a small cast iron pot, it was piping hot to the last bite. The Prime Rib and Cheek sandwich was not as successful. The dish was under the ‘Sammies and Crumpets’ section which would lead one to think that it was a sandwich of some sort. The other choices had ciabatta, English muffin, boule and crumpet as carriers for their fillings. This dish, though, only had a mention of a cheddar-ale popover and we should have paid more attention or asked questions — in hindsight. The ‘sandwich’ was not really a ‘sandwich’ description along the line of a food item consisting of one or more types of food placed on or between slices of bread(or similar carrier) allowing the eating of it with the hands or fingers. This was a filling of very cooked, cheesesteak-like prime rib with small square bits of cheek spooned over a long cheddar cheese popover. The filling was tasty, the popover was a bit soggy and the cheddar cheese was a slightly thickened blob at one end. While it was our mistake and misunderstanding, one might have thought that the server would give us a heads’ up knowing we had just ordered the Toad-in-the-Hole which had two Yorkshire puddings as a part of the dish. We ordered coffee and I had the Pineapple Pot Pie(Roasted Pineapple, Topped with Pastry, Curried Rum Raisin Ice Cream) which was brilliant. Delicious. Loved it! My dessert was served without any cutlery, however, and so I had to flag down a server(our server was nowhere to be seen) to get a spoon. The coffee — which was nothing to write about, tasted weak and old/burnt — was served in nice big cups and piping hot but the coffee server(not our main server) was a bit unsteady and so we had cream all over the bottom of the small tray with the cream and sugars. There was white and brown sugar in small separate canning jars as well as a selection of the packaged sugars and sweeteners one normally has to choose from, which was a nice touch since I love brown lump coffee sugar. So — the food was overall very good. Our server was not quite as good — he was rather lackluster and disinterested and not around at points during the meal for too long a time. I would likely go again but be forewarned that this Atlantic City eatery arrived from Las Vegas with Las Vegas pricing intact. Lunch for two was approximately $ 110.00 and that is fine — if the service was top-notch; which it wasn’t.

First and foremost I am a huge fan of Gordon Ramsay’s show! The location in Caesar’s Palace from the interior to the exterior was just stunning. Dined here after the 4th of July and I have to admit my friend’s and I was disappointed. We had high hopes for this place and the food tasted mediocre. Nothing to rave about or remember. Starters: — Cured Meat Board — Scotch Egg (ehh?) All we wanted to try was the Crispy Pork Belly but it was sold out. Entrees: — Ramsey Burger — Pan Roasted Sea Bass — Hell’s Kitchen Beef Wellington Of course I had to take took a few bites of out all the dishes and honestly it wasn’t satisfying. I ordered the Filet Mignon(Beef Wellington) in which I thought it was kind of salty. The mash potatoes on my plate was probably the only thing was I thought was good which is kind of sad. I am a huge meat fan and Ive had better filet mignon’s. — The Sea Bass was kind of plain and just bland no flavor to it. — The Ramsey Burger was just ehh. Average. By the time dessert came I was over it already but since we were already here might as well try something. Dessert: — Sticky Toffee Pudding I was okay didn’t feel like it was anything spectacular but tasteful. After an expensive dinner. Highlight of our night. Our waitress Nikki super über hilarious and her service was just superb. We sat by a bougie party of 4 couple. Apparently something dropped and«supposedly cut the poor woman’s feet» in which case I highly doubt it did. Something dropped from afar just so happened to go flying across to land her on her feet.(when pigs fly, maybe) Anyhow. The old lady kept complaining about how she was going to eat for free tonight and that mistakes shouldn’t happened. Things shouldn’t be dropped. I find it funny what people will do to try and receive a «free meal» Well worth paying for pure human entertainment. Anyway, sad to say I have to give this place two stars. Not sure if I will be coming back here.

I made a reservation for 4 at 7:45 this past Sunday. We had some guests coming in from out of the country and wanted to show off this awesome place based on our previous experience. We were driving from NYC and ran into some traffic, which made us about 15 minutes late to our reservation. I called the restaurant about an hour before the reservation to let them know. No one answered. I called again 30 minutes, and then 15 minutes beforehand. Still no response. I began to suspect that the restaurant was closed, but the restaurant website showed that it was open at our reservation time, and our reservation HAD been successfully made through OpenTable. When I came in, three hostesses were gathered around the host stand, talking to each other, even though somehow, in the last hour, no one had managed to answer the phone. I told them I had a reservation and that I had tried to call the restaurant 3 times. They looked at me like 3 deers in headlights. I was confused as to why they were so confused, but repeated that I had a reservation through OpenTable and was sorry that I was late, but did try to call the restaurant to let them know, to which they said they were too busy to answer the phone. They initially said we’d have to wait, even though there were many empty tables, but eventually gave us a table in the back of the restaurant. The food was delicious, as usual, and our server, Sheila, was very knowledgeable. However, she rarely checked in on us, and used plates were left on our table despite restaurant staff passing by several times, which is not acceptable on a $ 300 check(including 20% tip) for 4 people. To top it off, I find out later that my OpenTable reservation was marked as a «No Show,» even though we came in and paid ~$ 300 for our meal. I’m trying to be generous and give this place 2 stars because the food is still very good, but the service was all around terrible from the get-go.
