Absolutely the best bagels in the area, we are here almost every week! Stephanie and the other ladies working there are so friendly, they greet us by name and always check to see if it’s the usual order (turkey, egg whites and tomato for my husband, egg whites and tomato for me)! It’s always a treat to get such wonderful service, and we will continue to come here! They accept cash only, but there’s an ATM. If you prefer a private bank’s ATM, Wells Fargo is just a few doors down the street.

The best bagels around by far. I love all the food at Atlantic bagel from breakfast to lunch sandwhichs they have so much great options. Many local places use their bagels because they are just the best. The staff can be hit or miss being that sometimes they don’t even get your order right meaning they might not toast it if you ask or put butter on it rather then cream cheese but most of the people that work there will always get it right. They are all very nice regardless. I have been going there for years!

We used to label this place. For the past few months the bagels have been stale and they never get our other right. We ask for our breakfast meat to be well done and this is NEVER the case. The service and the cooking has really suffered… we are going to find a new place to go.

Yes, the bagels are very good and we go there regularly cause it’s close.
HOWEVER — It really disgusts me to see the lack of pride in the appearance of the place. It clearly has not been cleaned thoroughly in quite a while. Maybe they think that this is ok and their customers don’t notice, but we do, and I’m not the only person who thinks this. Tt makes me think twice about going there, or taking the drive out to Bagel Masters.

One of my favorite bagel spots. Bagels fresh, just the right amount of crisp on the outside, dense and soft in the middle. Always Fresh out of the oven. Homemade vegetable cream cheese is one of the best I’ve had. Plenty of seeds and toppings on bagels. I stop here every time I’m in NJ. Good hazelnut coffee too. CASH ONLY.

Holy moly. This place was so unorganized it was unbearable. The girls working were all frazzled and confused, and took forever to not only take our order but get the food to us. Some lucky patrons who ordered AFTER us even received their food first. To top it off, our orders were wrong, but we had been waiting so long we just ate the food anyway. The food was fine, but definitely not worth the wait. The line of customers was out the door, and the employees had no solid system of taking down orders. I had to take a picture because I was just so baffled! Probably won’t be returning here.

Five stars for the bagels, minus 1 star for being cash only. This is a big pet peeve of mine. I know there’s an ATM in the store (in fact, there are 2) but I also know there’s ways around setting up an entire credit card system (ie, Square card reader). Anywho, I digress. Back to the bagels. They are fantastic! I love the everything multigrain. The egg bagels are also excellent. And the veggie cream cheese is to die for! They also make a great PEC. There’s a bunch of sandwich options as well but I’m so enamored by the bagels and cream cheese that I haven’t tried them. Pretty good coffee too. Absolutely worth checking this place out!

I haven’t been able to find just the right place to make my «regular» bagel store, so I’ve been shopping around, trying different bagel stores in the area, and today was the day to try Atlantic Bagel. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel, and my daughter ordered a pork roll, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel. Both sandwiches were delicious. I also bought six other bagels just to have at home. I’ve been to other stores with much bigger selections of bagels, but the bagels at Atlantic Bagel Company were perfect for us. Not too big, not too small, not too doughy, just great. The staff is extremely friendly and pleasant. They do not accept credit cards, but there is an ATM in the store for convenience.

Great bagels! These are what I expect when I want a fresh bagel. We love both the breakfast sandwiches (on an everything bagel) and the specialty bagel sandwiches. (I love the Reuben!) They do get packed with a line out the door, but their call ahead and front of the line option is fantastic.
A must when catching the Ferry to the city.

Everything multi-​grain is the best. We also like the buttered rolls. Bagels are a decent priced and delish, best in the area after «Hey Daddy» closed. The girls behind the counter take a minute to acknowledge you after you walk in the door so just be patient with them until they finish their conversations with each other. Also, don’t try to go on Saturday or Sunday from about 7am-​10am… you’ll be standing in line forever! Love this place and will definitely return.

Fresh Hot Bagels this morning for our adventure over to AH, NJ from Seabright.
Great little find with excellent friendly service and a huge variety of sandwiches and bagel options.
The everything bagel has salt on it which is a rarity these days. And I ordered my with lox spread. They were running low on lox spread so the gal was sweet enough to throw some lox on the bagel. Super delicious. The wife got a pork roll egg and cheese on an everything. I had order envy…
This is truly a bagel worth trying… sincerely, a true bagel snob!

We made it here just before they closed at 3. We grabbed some sandwiches to take to Sandy Hook and have a late lunch on the beach. Both of our sandwiches were very good but it kills me when places do not take cards BUT they do have an ATM inside.

How do I love thee?! Every time I head down to New Jersey to spend time with my man when he can take a day off from working on the ship, I have to go to Atlantic Bagel Company for my morning bagel and coffee. And everytime its the same order… Everything Bagel with cream cheese.
I wish more places would make their Everything Bagel like ABC… with SALT! It’s just another crunch to the garlic pieces, poppy seed and seasame seed that make me say yum.
One drawback, but could be a plus and you learn as you continue to order… they love to put the cream cheese on the bagels… as in no skimping on the cream cheese. I happen to like it and will spread it out a little more, but for some it could be a little much.
I honestly haven’t tried anything else there and can’t bring myself to, this time around I brought home 6 more bagels with me, to savor the yumminess for a couple more days!
