Pizza was great! Very satisfied with taste and size would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good NY style pizza.

They do not have their stuff together. I don’t care if the food is good or not, they mixed up my calzone and I ate several bites before seeing the sausage. As someone who eats kosher vegetarian, it’s a big deal to me.

We didn’t even want to take home the leftovers. The pizza was dense. They messed up our order and had to make us a new pizza. We waited 50 minutes for our pizza to come out. There was nothing unique about the taste. We will keep searching for a good pizza place.

Love this place. You can watch them toss the dough and the slices are always generous! Great new remodel!

Uhh. This is a 1.5 but they screwed up so bad and continued to do so they get the round down.. Ordered a cheese and spinach calazone and a steak sub(the most expensive one with the works). The calizone came out a good 10 minutes before the sub. Blazing hot. Once it cooled it was no doubt packed with cheese but pretty darn bland. Take away a lot of cheese and put spinach in its place and would have been better. The sub. there was no saving it. Let’s start off. They used steak um meat. It clearly says steak and u have eaten enough steakum to know it doesn’t list steak in the box let alone beef as the main ingredient. That’s basically balone and miss advertisement. Then they forgot the cheese and the bread was terrible. The fries were hot on the outside but uncooked on the inside. I took them back and I said just give me the value in pizza. Literally ate 2 fries and 1 bite of the sandwich. Offered to remake it and I said it was too bad to make me believe they could make it right… Well they gave me 2 slices of pizza. 6.25 worth of pizza for an 11 dollar sandwich. Yeah the pizza was good but almost double the price? No thanks. Can’t recommend as it wasn’t made right

This is one of my favorite Pizza places in the area. You get to watch them spin the dough and the ingredients are fresh and flavorful. I guess you would classify it as a New York style pizza. The crust is baked perfectly and not to thin and not to thick. So why not 5 stars? The drink machine is in the corner and has limited access, so when another guest is taking their time, you are waiting. How long does it take to fill a cup, this visit 5 minutes. Really! Also no ice, and when mentioned to the staff they didn’t seem overly concerned about it. Hmmm Great place otherwise.

My favorite pizza spot in Augusta. I stopped in for a quick bite since I worked late today. I’m never disappointed.

This pizza is delicious!!! I’m a newcomer in Augusta and this was the first pizza joint I’ve tried here, so I can’t compare it to the others. However, I’m from the midwest and know good pizza. :) Although I’m accustomed to Chicago’s famous deep dish pizza at Giordanos, I LOVED Roma’s New York syle pizza. It’s delicious! Their pizzas come in small, medium, large, x-large, and xx-large. For reference, the huge pizzas they sell by the slice in their store are large. They make pizzas two sizes bigger than this. WHAT?! Anyhow, we ordered 3 large pizzas from Roma’s. We got one deluxe/supreme, one with onions, tomatoes, and green peppers, and finally just a plain cheese pizza for the picky eaters. Everyone loved the pizza and the crust was thin, but very tender. Super tasty sauce as well! My chief complaint at this place is I can’t figure out why a large cheese pizza is $ 12.99 but a supreme pizza of the same size is $ 25.99. I can see toppings adding a few dollars or so, but I can’t justify why it would cost double. So, for that, I have to take away one star. As far as taste goes though, this pizza will definitely satisfy!

Best pizza in Augusta. Giuseppe’s down the street is BARELYNYC style. I would rather take dominoes over them. Roma’s is the closest thing to NY pizza in the south. The owner really cares. Everything is made fresh and you can watch the whole process if you want. I have no clue what these people are talking about. Probably disgruntled southerners who were mad there isn’t a rebel flag out front.

I miss this place. Best NY pizza hands down. People who are complaining about the food must never have had a NY pizza before. Walking in, yeah the place is grody and gross looking, sometimes smells bad! LOL But it never stopped me from going there. So good that even now while living in Seattle I miss this place. You really gotta get pizza made by the owner though. He does it right!

I used to love going here for pizza. It used to be the best pizza place in Augusta until today. I was looking forward to enjoying my pizza. I ordered and sat down and waited for my food. While I was sitting down I noticed what I thought was a huge roach crawling on the wall a few feet away from me. I notified a worker right away, they replied«sorry about that but it’s a water bug it’s a southern thing» Lmao! Immediately they send a worker to take care of it he couldn’t find it. I noticed the main entrance had a gap between the door which made me think what else is crawling in here that I haven’t noticed… The thought of something crawling up my leg while I eating forced me to leave. Will not be returning for sure.

I’ve based my 5 star rating on memories from back in the day and high hopes of a repeat indulgence. Frank’s Unilocal review blipped on my radar jolting an old memory of deliciousness. I searched and found this ancient epicurean retreat is still delightfully dishing the dough!

Late Friday night and I am in the mood for pizza. Roma’s is it. Have been eating at this place in its many different locations for over 30 years now. back since it was in the Augusta Mall. I know some of the reviews talk about service and have complaints, but pay attention to the age of the review. Roma’s started going down hill several years ago, and as they were about to hit rock bottom, they turned the whole place around. Same great food is back, service is great, and the place looks amazing. I love this place and was scared it was closed for good when I showed up one day to find the doors closed. Can’t imagine how happy I was to find out they were simply remodeling and would be opening again soon. Glad my favorite pizza place is back in business. Headed there now.

This pizza is not good. Guiseppi’s on Wheeler Rd is waaay better. The pizza I got(take out) tasted old. It was $ 15 for a medium cheese pizza. I’d say it was of the same quality of one of the big chains.

We went for lunch, there were 4 of us and it was pretty expensive. I thought the food quality and taste would be better for the price I paid. The pizza did not have much flavor, it was lacking sauce and the cheese tastes like cardboard. The pizza sits out and they heat it for you when you order so i am not sure how long it was sitting out before they served it. I will not return to this restaurant again

As much as I love New York pizza, this didn’t fit my taste…’cause the pizza was so bland. I also wasn’t impressed that all the customers came in to a non-working ice machine and were not informed. I think the customers should have been given the drink at no charge.

I didn’t expect pizza by the slice to be quite so good in Augusta, Georgia. The ratio of cheese to sauce to crust was perfect. Thin crust style, and it was Crispy and crunchy without being too hard. No soggy pizza here! I’m not too adventurous when it comes to my pizza, I just had the cheese slices. I also got a chocolate covered cannoli. It was the perfect sweet to have after my pizza. The cannoli was crunchy and the filling was creamy and delicious without being overly sweet. You can dine in or carry out. I’m not sure if they do delivery. It’s in a shopping center where parking can be tight so that’s the downside. The service was quick and the staff was friendly. I think I have found my go to spot for pizza in Augusta.

You place your order at the counter when you first walk in. It was not busy for 5:30pm on a Tuesday, but they only had 3 employees, one at cash register, one prep cook, and one in the kitchen. I had one couple in front on me and almost walked out because of the amount of time I had to wait just to place my order. My food came out faster than it took to place my order. Food has always been good here even when you pick to reheat slice of pizza.

As I stated in my previous review of Roma’s Pizza, I love them and have loved them since I was a kid. This is New York style pizza at its finest. They recently did some remodeling and hired new staff to run this business. The business facelift is really cute and quaint. It gives the restaurant a intimate, Italian feel. The new General manager, Rick Baldwin, goes beyond his job description to make sure the experience at Roma’s is the absolute best. He was ringing customers up, delivering food to the tables, and I even saw him in the kitchen prepping food. Things like that makes restaurants appeal to people for years. The menu has also gotten a facelift as well. They added more Italian entrees to the menu. They even sell sub sandwiches with fries here as well. They also have new desserts. I always come for the pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni is so full of flavor and the cheese they use is an upgrade from a regular one to Bacio Exceptional Italian Pizza cheese. This cheese is made with mozzarella cheese and Buffalo milk. It brings the pizza to life and gives it a great kick. The pizza is also gluten-free now. I know this is a plus for the customers who are health conscious. Roma’s Pizza really revved up its game when it came to revamping the place. I enjoy each and every change that was implemented. I can see Roma’s pizza growing and becoming more successful than ever before. The staff is great, the food is great, the atmosphere is great, and the price is oh so great!!!
