Fun, quick place to have lunch or dinner or stick around for a while, both work! We dine hear about once a week, in fact, since we enjoy it so much. A lot of choices and all are wonderful. Our favorites are the crab maki rolls, Godzilla rolls, and the Route 59 rolls. Polite, super attentive, staff in a modernly decorated, trendy, and clean restaurant makes this a great place to bring friends and family, or for a date night. We also like how the sushi is freshly made near the tables and then presented on a covered dish that is rotated on a belt that passes right by each table. You just lift the door at your table as you see a dish that appeals to you. A fun way to try new dishes too. It’s easy to budget because each dish has a colored ring around the plate which tells you the price. At the end of your meal, the waiter tallies your plates and presents your bill. I wish all restaurants did it this way! Besides the items on the conveyer belt, there are great choices that can be ordered on the menu too. We especially enjoy their beef skewers, tokyo sandwich and mango rolls. You can tell that the owners and employees are proud of their restaurant and really want to make their diners happy. They greet you with a polite smile and are genuinely glad to see you. It is located in a small strip mall, but don’t let that fool you. Once you enter, you are in your own world. A really great place all around!

Love their sushi, spicy squid salad, and red bean mochi. They have good ramen too. My daughter loves the beef skewers. This is one of our favorite sushi restauants.

What a different concept — you get to pick your sushi while it is rolling around on a conveyor belt! Kind fun and you get to see it before you choose. I also loved the second concept of color coded plates, so it is easy to figure out your dinner total. Came back here a few times, but only now getting around to share my Unilocal review. Great place to go after work and relax, me and my group came here on Monday nights — was not crowded and we enjoyed it a lot. We all played a prank on a first timer by having them try the wasabi straight up! LOL

Better than expected. I’ve been to many of these places in Hong Kong while residing there. Also been to a few in NYC. This one does it right, and well. Good job!

We have been to Sushi + 4 – 5 times over the last 3 years. Colored plates indicate cost of each plate. Its a fun place with outstanding service. The décor is modern and trendy. Coconut and mango pudding for dessert were outstanding. We did have a few times that there was nothing we wanted on the conveyor belt. The solution? Order exactly what you want! We found that we can order and while we wait, supplement with the conveyor belt. This turned out to make a much better experience! Just keep track of what you want to spend or you’ll suffer sticker shock when the bill comes. If we take our teenagers, we ususally give them a budget. They can prioritize and figure out their budget to get the best meal :)

A nice place to hang out with friends, everything is yummy(or maybe i’m hungry, it might not be a good idea to come here if you’re super hungry, because you can build up the plates really fast…). Other than the sushi, the baby octopus appetizer and the green tea cheese cake are good too. Will definitely come back !

I have fallen in love again. For a while I’d lost interest in food and could not get the satisfaction from it like before. When I’m here, it all changes and my hear just skips a beat. Their customer service is top notch with the right amount of attentiveness. The ladies remember me and that always makes a customer feel welcomed. The gentleman are also wonderful. They know the food well and can describe the taste. That helps because I can be indecisive. My favorite dish here is the Hama Kama, Grilled Yellow Cheek. It’s just so good with rice and soy sauce. Pair it with salad and it’s perfect. Another great is the Spider Roll. The combination of the crunchy soft shell crab with the avocado and other ingredients all come together really well. Otherwise their bento boxes are also great. The portion is perfect.

Stopped in for dinner with the husband. This is basically a trendier Sushi Station. And we love sushi on conveyer belts. The service was great. Our waiter was attentive and on top of clearing our plate toppers. The only downfall was the sushi pizza. The photo provided in the menu was quite misleading and I did not have any mango on my Adventure pizza. Honestly, with the slice of cheese, tomato, and globs of mayo, it tasted more like a sushi burger. Otherwise, the sushi was fresh and plentiful. Seaweed salad was great! I’ll be back but will skip the sushi«pizza».

Three stars for the sushi, five stars for the service. Husband and I decided to try S+RSB on a whim after hearing a few things about it from friends. We went on a Sunday afternoon so it wasn’t too crowded. We got a table right away and were greeted with hot towels and tea immediately. We picked a few items off the conveyor belt and munched away. The taste was decent — not the best by any means but certainly not the worst. Everything was freshly prepared. The servers were always on time and swooping up any covers we took off the plates or any paper trash we made from used napkins, etc. They were the real stars of the show! Prices were decent for what you get but there are better options out there if you’re really a sushi fanatic like me. Great job to the staff though! You’ll feel like you’re being pampered :)

Red plate blue plate one plate two plate …yellow plate green plate empty plate sadface :( I happened upon this restaurant during their soft opening several years back, and having returned on 02÷13÷16 I can say that things seem to have improved greatly. Better variety of stuff, more diligent service, overall a more polished dining experience, really. For those of yous unaware, this is the place with the sushi conveyor belt. Yes, THAT one. A refrigerated conveyor transports various sushi rolls – along with appetizers like edamame and spinach salad – around a track that snakes through the dining area twice. If you find yourself fancying a particular roll, you simply open the plastic shutter nearest to you and grab the plated item off the belt. Voilà. Sushi+ uses a clever pricing system that can totally sneak up on you if you’re not making a mental tally as you go(and I mean really, with moving sushi plates going on in front of you, who’s got the time to be doing crap like adding numbers together?) Most sushi items were 4 pieces/plate and were on either red, blue, or green plates. Each plate color denotes a different price to pay. White is the cheapest, with things like plain albacore sashimi($ 1.50/plate), while purple was the most expensive($ 6.50/plate) and had items like dragon roll maki and something called ‘white devil’, among other specialty handrolls(sidenote: why is it that whenever I hear/see ‘white devil’, I keep thinking of Ace Ventura When Nature Calls?) The best plate I had was called ‘Snow White’ and was shrimp tempura with crab, mayo, avocado and crunch topping. The ‘sunrise’r’ was creamy white tuna wrapped in soy bean paper, and the ‘volcano’ was spicy salmon maki topped with flaming hot cheetos. That last one was pretty gimmicky, I gotta be honest. Things like your basic California or Philadelphia rolls [cream cheese, cucumber, salmon] were on green plates, priced at $ 4.50ea. What surprised me the most was Sushi+‘s selection of desserts. They had a green tea cheesecake that was thoroughly underwhelming, but the real treats were the Crème brûlée and the coconut pudding that made a few passes in front of me before I said«ahhh why the hell not?» and snatched them off the conveyor. The Crème brûlée was a smooth custard with a nice hard top, and although the coconut pudding was far closer to coconut Jell-O it was pleasantly refreshing nonetheless. The dining area was impeccably clean. As in, if I dropped a piece of sushi on the ground I’d have no hygienic concerns about picking it up again within 5 seconds and eating it. Staff maintained a pristine bar for patrons and the general look & feel was just very tidy. Servers were efficient in refilling my hot tea and in clearing away debris. Bread = 4.5 Circuses = 5 The bill came to something like $ 50 and considering the borderline disgusting amount of food I ate, I’d say the pricing scheme was fair. If you keep a running track of plate colors, then your bill won’t spiral out of control, because a hungry date like me can cause that to happen in a heartbeat. I love Sushi+ and would highly recommend it for lovers of all things maki. But heed this warning: when your stack of colored plates hits the ceiling, it’s probably time to ask for the check.

First time here. This place is fun and quirky. I was a bit concerned about freshness with rotary sushi, but everything we had was fresh and delicious. I’m impressed. Even the wife enjoyed it. One word of caution. This place might seem cheap since they advertise plates for $ 1.50, $ 2.50, etc. However, unless you really only want low-end items, the bill can add up real quick. I’m not sure I saw any $ 1.50 plates.

Not the best but we are in the suburban!!! We always order w/the waiters as the conveyor belt doesnt always have the good/better sushi! The wait staffs are always pleasant! They price well, probably the only sushi place we go to in Naperville… way better than Sushi Station :)

I thought this was a pretty below average sushi experience. I think the food is probably more like a 2 star deal, but I had so much fun staring at the rotary belt and reading all of the signs that it has to get the third star. Seriously, sushi is such a beautiful food. It’s really fun to watch all of the little plates moving past. Everything comes out immediately, so it would be a great place to go for lunch if the food were just a little bit better(or maybe 20% cheaper). Despite being unimpressed with the food, my husband and I had a ton of fun with this meal. I don’t know if this is a universal thing, but there are some sushi rolls that I have just come to think of as more Americanized(i.e. anything with cream cheese… but seriously they have a roll with cheetos on it) and if you stick to those exclusively, then I think you might actually be in good shape, but avoid the things that rely on the quality of the raw fish. For example, I tried the red snapper sashimi, and definitely regretted it. It was a little bit rubbery and mostly tasteless. The thing that I thought was the worst was the spicy tuna roll — mushy and bland! We didn’t try anything on the menu that you actually have to order, so maybe that’s better. I won’t be back to try it. Here’s a tip — try to sit as close to the beginning of the belt as possible! It goes clockwise from the perspective of the sushi makers.

Best sushi I’ve had in a long time/maybe ever!(and I’ve now eaten sushi in 7 states) We drove an hour each way to eat here and we ended up visiting twice. The first time was on black Friday when they happened to be having a 20% off your bill promotion. I had planned on visiting anyways so this was just a bonus! We arrived and they were packed with a line. They asked if we were okay waiting for a seat at the bar and I told them yes. I was chatting with the lady and I told her I was from Omaha and I was visiting my husband and had been looking forward to eating here for like 3 months.(My husband just completed Boot camp for the Navy Hooyah!) She was just amazed we would drive that far. We sat at a booth in the middle at the bar. The sushi was fresh and they kept it coming fast. The selection was good, and I also ordered some Inari and masago. The only roll I didn’t enjoy was the spicy crab, but(funny enough) I’m not a fan of fishy tasting things. The maguro was AMAZING and fresh. I’m a fan of big eye tuna so I looked forward to it. We ate a lot(mostly my husband) and we tried many different things. I kept forgetting to take photos because I was just over the moon happy with my sushi. The bill came and the same lady I talked with told us they were giving us 25% off instead of 20% because we drove so far. Honestly I think it was because my husband was in uniform, but either way I was appreciative. She also helped me get one of their loyalty cards set up which is pretty cool. Well I loved it so much that on my last day there(the next day) we drove back again. The guy(who might be the owner/manager?) was surprised to see us. I told him we loved it so much I had to have it again. My only complaint would be the lack of maguro slices until when I was leaving, but it’s my own fault because I didn’t feel like ordering it special. Didn’t take any photos this time… too busy eating sushi. Both trips were like $ 40 bucks give or take. Prices compared to everywhere else I’ve eaten are dirty cheap and usually when you’re talking sushi that’s not a good thing. It works here. I also found out they DO have sashimi(even though it’s not on the menu). As I was leaving and so full I might have to be rolled out to the car I saw tuna sashimi on a purple plate($ 6.50) If you eat sashimi you can appreciate how cheap that is. I know what I’m getting next time. Hopefully I’ll be moving to Chicago soon and I can’t wait to eat here probably far too often!

I’ve always wanted to go to one of these. The cousins and I decided to drop by here after a visit to Centennial Beach. Overall it’s pretty good value, and once you get the hang of pulling out the sushi from the belt not spilling octopus salad all over yourself, it’s actually kind of fun to boot. I don’t remember all of the dishes that I grabbed, so I’ll note the ones I remember: Egg sushi — the cheapest plate on the belt, this one was sweet and tasty. Oyster shooters — okay, bear with me here. Three shot glasses of raw oyster served with over an ounce of different vinegars. This. Was. Awesome. I’m not sure if you’re supposed to chew on the oyster. I don’t care. It was delicious. Briny, vinegary, lively, worth the purple price. Route 59 — Because every sushi restaurant needs to name a dish after the street they’re located on, this mixture of crunchy, tuna(I think), cream cheese and something hot worked very nicely. Adventure Pizza — My brother is insane, but this avocado-laden sushi pizza actually tastes good, especially the crispy rice on the bottom. Some Sort of Soup — best miso soup, if that’s what it was, I’ve ever had. Deep, intense flavored broth with right-sized noodles. Anything That Comes With That Special House Sauce, Especially Sushi — delicious. A thickly sweet teriyaki sauce with a hair of soy sauce in it, it’s used to great effect on one particular dish on the belt. The servers were very attentive and kept bringing fresh, cold green tea. If you’re looking for fresh fish that never stops moving, Rotary is for you.

I’ll admit I visited this place because of the conveyor belt novelty. I expected fair to acceptable sushi and was greatly surprised that everything I tried was fabulous! The place is clean, sharp, and interesting. The people are friendly and attentive. The rotary rookie will catch on quick read the color coded sigh open your sliding door and fetch your delicious dish before it gets away. I was disappointed there are no eel choices but you can order it from the menu. I also want to mention this is a great place for the lone diner /business traveler like me. It’s entertaining to watch and anticipate as the plates roll by. I want to go back today, do they open for breakfast? FoodDude!

Had lunch at Rotary Sushi place near Fox Valley Mall. Interior is very clean and modern. It was pretty busy during lunch on Friday around 1:00. Server was attentive. They have a good selection of sushi rotating around on this glass enclosed metal belt. Signs and descriptions of the items are large and clear. I tried a few rolls and ordered tonkatsu ramen spicy with pork belly. The pork belly was grilled and flavorful. Ramen broth wasn’t too spicy. Overall very delicious. I have been looking for a good ramen spot in the burbs outside of mitsuwa food court and I think I finally found my place. Will definitely be back!
