We have been coming here since it opened and the quality of the food is consistently good. Its a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Would recommend that you build a bit of time into both take out orders as well as dining in. Average wait time base on my experience is 10 – 15 minutes if its not busy. 20 – 30 minutes if they are crowded.

Great place to enjoy a burger. Had the breakfast burger with egg and hash browns and it was awesome. Wish they had a gluten free but but the lettuce wrap was done well with plenty of lettuce which allowed me to pick it up like burger is meant to be eaten. Fries were great as well. Be prepared as it is pricey but totally worth it and share the fries… they were big.

Staff are friendly but burger and hot dogs not great. Burger is small, skinny and lacks flavor but is not greasy and bun nit too sweet and held up well. Hot dog Chicago style is a disaster. Dog is low quality and the toppings were amateur; onions chopped were the size of playing dice, relish was strange and mustard was all but missing there was so little of it. Been there before and I’d rank the latest experience as slightly below prior efforts but all in all, there are much better burger places nearby(Waterloo Ice house for one).

Good burger, would compare to Shake Shack… They also serve local craft beer which puts the on top of Shake Shack to me… Nice variety of toppings for fries also… I’m a burger guy and this is a good burger!

I’ve always loved this place but last time we went they were out of veggie burgers and the Service was awful, one of the girls behind the counter the one the nose ring and spacer in her ears totally pretended we did not exist when we asked for lemons. Asked her twice and she waited on everyone else we waited for five minutes and finally asked someone else. We felt like we were discriminated against. Will never go there again. When I confronted her she said it was because she just clocked in.

HOLY S#$T!!! $ 16 for a burger, fries and drink??? Are you kidding me!!! I know Buger Fi is in a nice area, but c’mon guys. The prices are horrible. The food is OK at best, but for that amount of money it drops to terrible. How anyone can justify charging that amount of cash is beyond me. Burger Fi my a$$ More like Burger Bulls$%t!!!

So bummed! Three of us showed up at 845pm so excited to eat burgerfi! Well 8 minutes later we left because no one would take our order! The guy behind the grill wouldn’t make eye contact and the other employee kept making milkshakes and not acknowledging our existence! Bummer. I love burgerfi but man. What a drive from round rock… Headed to p Terry’s.

I ha e this joint 1 star because Unilocal does not offer negative values. Seriously folks… these burgers are ok at best and Definitely NOT worth $ 12 for a burger and order of fries. If I had purchased a drink, this metiocre meal would have been $ 15(couldn’t bring myself to be ripped off on a 6−8oz drink for $ 2.70). I got the onion rings because they looked good in the picture above the counter. After tasting one, I would rather have eaten the picture above the counter. These onion rings were unbelievably and absolutely devoid of any flavor! After the guy with no personality sent my order to a little girl in the back to cook it, I was among 3 people total in the place and I waited 20 min for this tasteless overpriced junk food. It quickly became blindingly apparent that this place is designed to maximize profits while the customers pay for poor overhead control and bad food. My bad, never again. UPDATE: The folks at BurgerFi were very good on immediate followup, even sent me coupons for another try. Well, I took em up on the offer. In my second visit, the service was an improvement but the quality of the food was same, even a bit worse(Luke warm burger with one huge piece of heart of lettuce on it. I’m sure the founder(s) made a great burger when the idea was launched; however maintaining consistency hasn’t been mastered yet. I updated BurgerFi on my return visit with images included but like their consistency in quality, they are only good out of the gate. Never heard another word from them. Final analysis; grossly overpriced fad joint created for profit margin grab and run. Go ahead and try for yourself. @nomoburgerfi

I really like the burgers here and have been here half a dozen times so far. I always thought that some of the prices felt a little high… but nothing outrageous, and you DO get a tasty burger fir the money. I’ve been getting the«Conflicted» burger lately, which has a regular beef patty as well as a veggie patty. Pretty damn tasty. Slight warning… skip the bottled water if you don’t want soda or alcohol… or at least be prepared to pay the same for it. They charge $ 2.77 for a 12oz bottle! This is actually only .10 cheaper than any of their beers or wines and .10 more than Coca Cola. Just saying. Otherwise its a pretty decent burger place. I’ll be back again I’m sure.

I been here before, but like to write a review after eating someplace a couple of times unless the food is wretched. This place isn’t that great. The burgers are good, but not something I crave/dream of: for the price of Burger-Fi that would be Wholly Cow Burgers on South Lamar… but I digress. The burgers are juicy, full of flavor, and the meat crumbles in the mouth without needing to chew. That is why you will probably see a mess of parents giving a 6 – 9 month old their own burger here, but is surprising that you don’t see an elderly crowd with their dentures removed, hoovering down burgers: they pose no choking hazards. The selection of condiments to put upon one’s burger that rivals Rolls Royces selection of wood paneling that one can be put on the dash, which is a RIDICULOUS amount. The bread is soft, not even slightly crumbly from drying out nor gummy like fast food chain buns are because of the preservatives. The stickler for me is the price. For what you pay, there are other burger places in Austin that are just as fresh and you get a lot more food. As for the fries and onion rings: they are okay to gut bombs. This evening I orders the onions rings which I have gotten before and could have put the bag of rings in a zip lock bag and used it as a 10 lbs free weight. I couldn’t even finish half since they were so greasy. The bonus is that I have been growing a fro for the winter since I couldn’t grow one in the military for this time of year and with the leftover grease disks I can squeeze out the oil, have a make shift Jerry Curl, and«…let my soul glo.»

My husband and I stopped here for a bite to eat since it was either burgers or mexican on the dinner front tonight. I ordered the burger fi burger with pickles and jalapeños. I think if I would do over again I would have did the make my own burger and get a single patty. The burger itself was just okay. It wasn’t WOW and I definitely had way better burgers in my past. I did enjoy the fresh ingredients on my burger. Fresh jalapeños are the best and makes it more spicy. My husband ordered the Breakfast All Day burger. This burger contains: burger, cheese, fried egg, bacon, maple syrup, hash brown, onions and ketchup. My husband raved about this burger. I had a bite and I thought again it was okay. This burger is very messy so make sure to have extra napkins around. We split a side of cry+ fry. It contained 3 giant size onion rings and a side of fries. We made them urban style which has parmesan cheese, herb, and garlic aioli drizzled on top. The onion rings were very crispy and I really enjoyed them. The fries were good but I didn’t care for the urban style. I think maybe I would have enjoyed cajun or salt and vinegar better.

I’ve been here enough now to say my ratings have slowly declined. I saw the big appeal when it first opened, but since Austin has turned more health conscious, I’ve found better and more affordable options. It cost me around $ 13 for a veggie burger and garlic fries. That’s not including a drink. I’ve been disappointed in the fries the last few times and the veggie burger has become a little underwhelming. It’s a smaller burger and cost more. I’d recommend a new strategy. Either increase the size of the burgers, or drop the prices. You don’t feel like you get your money’s worth. On the flip side, it’s never crowded, the patio is nice and the customer service is good.

Nice casual spot with great burgers, hot dogs, and fries! You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Showed up for an early dinner on Friday(6:15pm) and had no wait to order. By the time we finished eating the line was to the door. It was so nice to find something in the area that we really enjoyed… the beers on tap and boylan sodas were a bonus. We will definitely be back!

I got the veggie burger with parm & herb fries and a red velvet shake. The veggie burger was filling but lacked flavor. The fries were super dry, very disappointing. The red velvet shake was AMAZING! If I were to return I would def get another shake and try the onion rings.

I love local places as much as the next Austinite, but the only two things P. Terry’s has in common with Burgerfi are 1. all natural beef, and 2. the size of the burger patty. That’s it. So I’m confused at all the comparisons on Unilocal between the two. A more accurate description would be «What would happen if Hopdoddy and P. Terry’s had a baby?» Answer: Burgerfi. This burger chain out of Florida is a step above your average fast food place. The burgers are top notch in my opinion and the choice of extras are outrageous. But be careful because the extras can add up. They also serve beer and wine. The place is very clean and the condiment counter is the cleanest I’ve ever seen on most visits. As others have mentioned, the service at the counter can sometimes be spotty but they were on point tonight. As with P. Terry’s, most people should order a double. Unlike P. Terry’s, it’s not cheap. But, one order of fries can feed 2 – 3 people. I recommend the parmesan herb fries, with mayo for dipping. Aside from the cost, my only other complaint is that when you want to refill your drink, you have to walk across the line of people waiting to order. A drink machine on the other side of the restaurant would be handy. I had a hard time choosing between 3 – 4 stars but I went with four to counter those 1 star reviews. In closing, Burgerfi may not be for everyone, but if you are a burger aficionado like I am, it’s a nice change up and a great addition to all the great burger places in Austin. P. S. For your reference, my favorite burger places are Hopdoddy for«gourmet» burgers and Dan’s for old fashioned burgers. Phil’s is a very close second.

I was interested due to the grass fed beef — tasty burger, lots of good fries, and yes I got a frozen custard which was hella tasty. The sign was dark & behind a tree, but the place was well lit & inviting on the inside. Seems like there are locals who order for pick up frequently too. Can’t wait to go back!

Hash browns and egg on a burger?! Hell ya. Oh, and syrup too! Salt and vinegar fries?! I can’t think of a more perfect compliment to the mocha shake. Or if you aren’t feeling that, buy beer, or a bottle of wine. Yes, a bottle. Been here three times in last 10 days. With a 1-month old. Anyone with kids knows that one has to move heaven and earth to leave the house at this point… totally worth it. Bright, clean, modern environment: concrete floors and metal tables and chairs, couple of flat screens up(under cover spot to catch a game), BigAss fan… more functional than cozy but who cares, the food is good. Minus a star for pricing — this shiz ain’t cheap — but I’ll keep coming back.

First off, if you’re expecting a burger like in the pictures, or a t least similar to, think again. These burgers are tiny. Even the double burger. Secondly, I ordered a burger, no bun, with cheese, lettuce, tomato, sauce, and onions. The sauce, onions, and cheese are nowhere to be found. The burger is cooked to a crisp and I am left feeling Hungry and dissatisfied. On the up side, their Cajun fries are ok. No where near the value I thought I was getting by what is advertised on Unilocal.I would recommend just skipping and heading to black sheep lodge or hop doddy.

A little more cost than the big 3 but tastes much better. Onion rings are really good. I recommend building your own burger so you have exactly what you want. The burger looks smaller than you might expect but when you have exactly what you wanted it’s filling and worth the extra bit of cash. Very clean place! Tip: build your own burger instead of ordering the standards. Also, get some sliced fresh jalapeños on the burger!
