Worst. Sonic. Ever. Always so slow, and they have messed up numerous orders. I complained once, but they don’t seem to want to improve. Unfortunate since it’s close to my house. I will drive further to the sonic on Manchaca. I’ll probably still get home sooner.

The WORST fast food I have ever received. We have given this restaurant(this location in specific) multiple chances, and each time, we have ended up taking pictures of the atrocious food and sending it to corporate. This place is disgusting, their sandwiches and burritos are sloppy and they never adhere to any modifications you ask for.(Have a cheese allergy? Too bad, they’ll give you EXTRA cheese instead!) You are not even allowed to order a simple water there with a combo. You’ll be charged for the food items separately, so where you would normally pay $ 4.59 for a combo meal, you’re being charged $ 7.89 all because you asked for a water instead of their disgusting slushies or sundaes. DONOTCOMEHERE.

Worst burritos ever! The tortillas were like wax paper. They seemed to replied the juices in the aide the burritos. They were hard and gross. I will not be stoping at this sonic again.

This place is slammed today(Saturday afternoon)… Like their dogs: the Chicago dog is a reasonable facsimile; the chili dog(with onions and mustard) is alright — a little light on the chili though. I(and my dog) like the fact that they hand out dog treats(milk-bone) for the pups.

And the quest called Hot Dawwwg, It’s Sonic continues. 4) Baja Dog: Cheese wrapped around a flavorful frankfurter under spicy jalapenos, tomatoes, onions, all in a poppy seed bun. Sink your teeth into this juicy delight. 5) New York Dog: This is probably the dog I was least impressed with. It was good, but the onions on top of the spicy mustard didn’t have the best flavor. It was good, not great. Quick tip I forgot to mention: If the intercom under your menu starts spewing out garbled sounds that resemble alien interference, don’t freak out. Just go to another drive-in slot. The guy next to us who had to problem seemed to understand the gibberish just fine, though, until a carhop had to come to his window and take his order that way. It would be simpler just to go to another slot. Just saying.

This location, as with other Sonic spots, can be a little slow at times during the rushes and may appear that the newest group of teenagers entering the workforces are still in training, but everyone is always courteous, willing to fix any mistakes or to offer up any extras(ketchup & mints) you may need when dropping off an order, and the place is an over-all friendly location. A side note I must add after visiting today(Easter) to get a drink and having my dog in the car… super kudos to the kiddo who brought out my cherry chocolate Dr. Pepper because he asked if I would like a treat for my dog — and then popped back inside and came out to produce a sonic bag with two small dog biscuits in it! Talk about awesome service — they even treat your canines with kindness — and at no extra charge!

I’m glad to have a Sonic close to my house without having to take my life in my hands crossing Highway 71. But I wish it were a better Sonic. I’ve only been here about 3 times since opening, but I’ve found the service to be hit-or-miss. The food is typical Sonic, and they have messed up one order to date, which is not great odds so far. I’ve found the wait staff to be somewhat lackadaisical and they aren’t as trained and prepared with ketchup, mints, etc. as at other locations when they come to your car. The only trouble I have with this Sonic is that it’s never on the right side of the road for me when I’m hungry, so I usually hit the JITB across the street instead. Oh well, you know what they say about location, location, location! For a drive-in restaurant, they deliver solid food value at a reasonable price, especially on nights when they run specials. Good 3 stars, and, best of all, I’ve always found the food is safe to eat.
