Love this ice cream shop. Family owned. Homemade ice cream, half the sugar. You don’t want to miss out on a great opportunity. They have dairy free options as well. They are friendly people. The owner is nice. He is very helpful and sweet. The owners wife makes the ice cream. No artificial sweeteners. Made from agave nectar. Great for people that are diabetic or on a strict sugar intake. I love how they have so many flavors to choose from every week. The few experiences I encountered while I was there. I didnt like how the cone tasted old. I didn’t like how the napkin stuck to my cone and would not come off. I did not like how the teens running the register treated my kids and how some were shy running the register

I’ve worked in the shopping center across the street for almost three years and had NO idea this place existed until I walked by on my way to another store. I’ve been doing low carb/keto on and off for about a year or so, and if I had known this place existed before tonight it probably would have been more on than off! The fact that I can get all my low carb supplies, plus ice cream that tastes like real ice cream for 2g of carbs and 2g of sugar is UNREAL. The best part is it’s literally next door. On top of everything else, I spent about 20 minutes chatting with Courtney– the owner. She and her family are so kind, and so passionate about their business. She spent a long time asking about my diet needs, and made great suggestions. You can tell she really cares about you as a customer. I cannot express enough how exciting this is to have found this place! You have a customer for life now :)

Yowza!!! This place is dee-lish!!! D’lites make such a great product. They always have at least 4 different flavors to choose from(they make over 100 different ones) and they’re always willing to let you have a taste test before you decide. Every time that I’ve been in their staff has always been really friendly and they keep the place clean and tidy. Another great bonus is that their ice cream is sugar free. Pro Tip: Their Salted Caramel is their #1 seller and soooo worth it;)

Absolutely love D’lites! It is so hard to believe that is so low in calories. The texture and the taste does not seem like diet at all! I also love that it’s gluten free and my friend who is allergic to gluten can eat here too — and she loves it! Wednesdays is buy 2 get 1 free!

Wow ! This place is awesome ! Awesome customer service, awesome product. Came in with my daughter and was offered samples of practically every flavor and was given a little info about the calories and sugar content in comparison to regular ice cream and frozen yogurt. Cause knowledge is power, right? I believe the man behind the counter was the owner(I could be wrong) but he seemed really passionate and he was extremely nice. We enjoyed our ice cream and I bought some to take home(buy 2 half pints get one free on Wednesdays) definitely will be back and I’m telling all my friends

I am going to share a little secret … are you ready … are you sure? Ok — here is goes… Low carb, low fat, low sugar, gluten free and no artificial sweetener … yes, you can get all these features in your ice cream! Seriously now, you totally can! I finally stopped in here one hot evening, because I had a craving for some ice cream. When I pulled up I honestly did not know about the low calorie, low carb thing they have going on here. I actually love the concept and I am definitely a fan girl now! My first visit I got a small cone and I forgot to take a picture of it, so I decided I needed to go back and next time I got the chocolate medium in a cup with butterfinger sprinkled on top. The chocolate is super delicious! A medium cup that size is only 100 calories … wow, that is like a 100 calorie snack pack, but better. As far as flavors go they always have chocolate and vanilla plus 2 other flavors that change out on a daily basis. I saw blueberry cheesecake, which sounded amazing! Be sure to get a punch card so you can earn a free ice cream in the future! I will be back here for sure because it is south and practically guilt free!

It’s hard to find low calorie options when trying to slim down, and this fit the bill. I got a small cup which was 75 calories according to their nutrition facts posted. The yogurt itself is pretty good. But I think I like another yogurt shop downtown just a tad bit better. I also like being able to control how much topping goes into the yogurt and the employees handle it here. Also, It kinda has a funny after taste, but not enough to keep me from coming back. But! It’s close to the house. And better than no choices! :)

The staff is friendly and helpful. This frozen treat is so good I almost don’t believe the nutritional information. This is incredibly satisfying and hardly a cheat! I am impressed! I will add that I bought a take home large container of «dark chocolate espresso» and while it is a tasty dark chocolate– there is nothing espresso about it– it’s really good if you just like chocolate!

The best soft serve in the world, in six different flavors nightly, whats NOTTOLOVE? Oh, the 100 calories per 8 oz serving! Its a win-win. The service is great too, lots of kids, but all very pleasant and attentive. Also has a great supply of carb free items, sugar free items and paleo stuff. Even if you’re not watching your weight or intake in any way, its the best ice cream around!

I came in one afternoon for some ice cream… Little did I know that it was also low in calories too! The owners were there and they were very nice and informative! They are also very conscious of people’s dietary needs. I don’t have specific needs, but it’s nice that they recognize people that do. I brought my daughter the next day, she loved it! It’s great to be able to take her somewhere for a sweet treat whenever we want with out the guilt of loading her up with tons of sugar and fat. Everyone that works at D’Lites are also D’liteful as well!

Great tasting low calorie ice cream. The owners are always in the parlor it’s just, the way business used to be when you knew the owners and they knew their customers by name. All the staff is very friendly and there is always a new flavor to try before making your all important decision of what to invest your calories in. The place is just all around great!

I was in Austin on a travel nurse assignment, and only discovered this place about a week before we had to leave to come back home… dangit! I am lactose intolerant… this place is the only real ice cream that I’ve eaten and not had to run home to my bed with stomach cramping. It’s healthy ice cream, no real sugar, they use skim milk for their ice cream, very few calories… seriously check out their website for the list of benefits. My boyfriend was hesitant but even he was sucked in to the D’Lites mania! It tastes like regular soft-serve ice cream, just guilt-free. They have a menu of flavors that change daily, and tons of toppings options. For those paleo people of Austin, not only does this place serve healthy ice cream, they have a small shop inside of paleo-friendly foods and even frozen meals. D’Lites is right of William Cannon, in the shopping strip of stores, with a huge parking lot out front making D’Lites super accessible. D’Lites, keep doin what you’re doin!

I am VERY surprised to have a ice cream that is healthy and TASTESSOGOOD! I came back two times after. It helps me satisfy my craving for an ice cream but knowing it is much better than a regular ice cream! I love it here!

Love this discovery! Delicious creative soft serve ice cream that is low in calories and all natural with no artificial flavors. Sold! The kids got chocolate, my husband Oreo cheesecake, and I got Oreo cheesecake swirled with vanilla. All were pleased. Customer service was great and friendly allowing taste samples and patient with the kids. Vegan dairy free gluten free options available as well as cakes, take home pints, and ice cream sandwiches available. We will be back!

I started coming here to get Quest bars because they are always fully stocked on them. I’ve tried the ice cream once and it was delicious despite the fact that it was healthy! The nutritional information on those things are unreal when you taste them! I recommend any one with diabetes to check this place out if you’re having sweet cravings. They also sell supplements there as well. The owner, Brian, is very friendly and is willing to help you out with anything you need!

Three stars, but in a good way. The thing is, I get what these guys are doing, and it’s great if that’s what you want. I just didn’t go nuts over the taste of their product. I really can’t think of a reason to return, unless you wanted me to come with you. D’Lites is apparently a franchise and the Austin store is on William Cannon. Their specialties are soft serve ice creams(flavors are rotated daily), which are surprisingly low in calories, carbs, sugar, sodium, fat grams, and other evil things, while also being gluten-free and made without artificial sweeteners. My $ 2.98 Chocolate D’Lite was indeed light and airy and low in carbs and calories, but I also thought it was pretty low in taste and flavor categories as well. Of course that’s subjective, and I’m sure lots of people will think it’s great. Maybe it’s about how you approach diet and nutrition: If my regimen required my frozen dessert concoctions to be restricted to a documented amount of whatever grams, then I’d probably be all over D’Lites and the other products they sell. But in my particular world of ice cream and calories, I’d rather savor one ounce of Amy’s Belgian or Lick’s Dark Chocolate with Olive Oil & Sea Salt, than twenty random ounces of D’Lites chocolate stuff. My analogy numbers may be off a bit, but you get the drift. Dr. Phil might say the benefit of D’Lites is helping us ordinary folk deal with our propensity for excess, and not knowing when to stop. And that’s why Dr. Phil is on national TV and I sit around doing Unilocal reviews. Different strokes for different folks. But regardless, consider visiting the D’Lites website for a free coupon and giving them a try — it may very well become your new favorite ice cream. It just isn’t mine.
