Holy kabab batman! This place is officially in my top 10 places to eat in Austin. I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on the menu but I especially love the 100% grassfed lamb!

The kuzu and rustic were both uniquely and elegantly flavored and well assembled. A great start to Austin.

This is by far the worst run food truck I’ve ever visited. I live right next to it and enjoy the food when I’m actually able to get it. I’ve attempted to order food from it, during business hours, on normal days, 10 times. 4 of the times it wasn’t open(again during business hours). Twice there was someone inside and said they weren’t taking any orders. I just went back again and there were two people inside with a sign that said«be back in 15 minutes». That was fairly confusing since they were there already making and sending food out. Then I stood there quietly in front of them while people received food and was ignored for several minutes. Then, when the subordinate attempted to take my order, the manager told him she couldn’t for some reason or other, and very rudely told me that she wasn’t taking orders for 15 minutes exapseratedly pointing at the sign. First, it says«be back in 15 minutes», and they were there making and delivering food, so that isn’t what the sign actually means. Second, I didn’t know when it had been put out there, so it was not at all clear when the 15 minutes would be up. Third, I had already been standing there for several minutes, so it couldn’t logically still be 15 more minutes. Finally, stop being a bitch to someone trying to hand you money. Go to hell Kebabalicious.

Meh. If this is supposed to be the best place for falafel in Austin, there’s no need to eat falafel in Austin.

I am literally in love with Kebabalicious. I go about every other week. BEST kebab/gyro/wrap place in town. Spicy, flavorful, 100% delicious. Literally cannot get enough. They have a rewards card too! The blond cashier girl is super nice. I like the atmosphere and outdoor seating. Wish there was more indoor seating but it’s all good.

Food truck Heaven! Split a combo lamb/falafel wrap after an infamous purple margarita next door & it was divine! It’s been about a month ago now & I’m still salivating over it even though I just ate some good local food here(AZ). Next time I’m in town, it’s on the top of my list of places for sustenance not to be missed!

Went there for Trucklandia and their sample was AMAZING! Great service too!!! They were located in the Picnic area which is a really cool food truck hangout. Definitely recommend these guys.

First time coming here and I tried the spicy lamb kebab and it was MOUTHWATERING! This was also the first time I tried lamb and I’m sure glad it was here. The blonde lady behind the counter was also very energetic and friendly, made the place feel very friendly and relaxed. I will for sure be back soon!

Look no further, this is THE Mediterranean food cart, right here in Austin, TX. I got an absolutely amazing falafel gyro here, and I’m not even a big fan of falafel. Thin pita, nice and saucy, and some of the best falafel I’ve had. I can’t wait to go back.

Do you ever have random songs playing in your head while you’re thinking about what food to order? I do. And when i came up to Kebabalicious after hitting up Barton Springs, I Want It All by Queen was playing in my head. Most middle eastern places I’ve been to offer gyros, or chicken in a wrap, or falafel in a wrap. That’s great and all, but what about your«Supreme»? What about your«Kitchen Sink»? What about your«The Works»? What if I like lamb, chicken, AND falafel, and I want it all? And what if I want it now? This place delivers on that. They have an everything-type wrap sandwich. It’s called the Spoiled Brat, and it comes with all those meats and meat-tastealikes on top with fresh vegetables and a fat serving of tzatziki sauce. It’s pretty heavy food, so there’s a good chance you’re going to be tired afterward. They have two sizes — regular and large. The regular is 8″ and pretty freakin’ large already, so that would probably satisfy most people. But if you really need it bad… and you need it big, there’s always the 12″ large for those monster cravings. Just know that you might not be able to walk properly later.

Well, here’s the breakdown. 1. Great hummus. 2. Angry guy behind the counter. 3. Beyond overdone chicken wrap. Took the guy 20 minutes to prepare my meal … maybe he was just trying to heat it up with his mental rage. Really dude… Lighten up.

There’s not a lot more that comes to mind when I’m starving and on my way to Hangryville but with the quick service and delicious spicy and savory sauce made from the nectar of the gods, you just can’t beat. Not to mention you’re stuffed solid cause even the regular is filling. I’ve never tried the large wraps but if I want to die doing what I love, I’ll get one of those someday. Also they totally hooked it up with a friendly discount last time I was there so that made the other 20 kebabs I’ve had totally worth it. Tell fast food to suck it and come visit this place instead. p. s. If you want a coma induced afternoon, add the kebab fries also.

Maybe my expectations were higher than was appropriate? I really wanted to come away from this food truck having loved it. Sadly, the food just wasn’t as good as it could have been. Not that it was outright terrible. But it was less Kebabalicious and more… Kebabameh. Two beef/lamb kebab wraps were ordered. For both wraps, the kebab meat was dry, crunchy and old tasting. Almost like it was the left over meat scraps that had been heated for too long(like non-enjoyable burnt end pieces). The pita bread was cold and hard; I kid you not, my jaw was taut and I was partially exhausted after I finished chewing through my wrap. Everything else in the wrap was good; the sauce was flavorful, and we probably could have cranked it up all the way on the spiciness and been okay. I could almost sense that there was potential for a great meal in there, but the dry, crunchy meat, and cold, tough pita bread left us unsatisfied, even if we were satiated. Filling, but far from«licious.» Cards are accepted, and the service was on point. Too bad the food was average. I would like to assume that 246 of the positive reviews aren’t from people who are easily impressed, but rather our personal experience was out of the norm. We’re willing to give it another go when we’re in town.

So I get up to the truck and stand behind a man who gets extremely pleasant service. The woman inside says it will take about eight minutes to complete. Anxiously anticipating my delicious kebab, I approach the counter and wait for my turn to order. I then witness the following things: the woman very kindly helping a small family get an assortment of dining utensils, the woman and the man inside having casual conversation, the man hand delivering a plate of fries to someone on the other side of the park, and the woman exclaiming to the man that they were building up a line again, all without eye contact with me, nor a «We’ll be with you in a second». Just awkwardly avoiding eye contact with me as they bustled about in their truck. As if the entirety of the food truck customer service experience isn’t ordering. I had been waiting about fifteen minutes(way more than I would have been okay with, but my boyfriend kept reminding me to be patient). The man finally turned around and took my order, and had the gall to look annoyed when I gave zero tip. I’m sorry, a food truck’s service is based solely on the preparation of the food, since there is no waitstaff. And they shout your name instead of bringing stuff out to you. Anywho, my falafel wrap was delicious and the fries look delicious but they aren’t really. Too much seasoning and feta. We threw most of it away. I’m sure they have good food, but it wasn’t worth the shitty service to me in particular, for whatever reason. They treated the other patrons very nicely.

3 words: SPICYLAMBKEBAB! Fantastic…and better and better with each bite. Seriously, kebab crack. Go for the«King Size» 12 inch @$ 9.15 or you will regret it! Huge, but somehow leaves you wanting more. Kind of like great sex. ;) The 8″ and 12″ sizes imply the size of the wrap, not the final product. The«king» actually turns out to be just around a tasty 8″ when rolled, so you can easily demolish it. Amazing flavor combinations, tender lamb, just the right amount of red onion. Perfection… but can be a bit messy so be sure to grab plenty of napkins. Well worth any effort put into such a rewarding indulgence. Suggest trying the Falafel Shot as well. Perfect sized ball with creamy sauce that has a bit of a kick. A perfect bite in your mouth. Think amuse-bouche. HIGHLYRECOMMEND. Tips: *Currently located in «The Picnic.» **Accept CCs.

ooo Kebabalicious. We need you in Dallas. For real. I ate off the lamb/beef kebab my boyfriend got and instantly wished I had my own. Yum! Great flavor and spices. We were all craving it the next morning as well! So we drove on over to where they were parked the night before hoping they would still be there. ALAS, they were not. So we had to continue home without more kebabs. But we will be back! Hopefully it wasn’t just a drunken night’s fluke.

Beef Kebabs! Lamb Kebabs! Chicken Kebabs! Halal Kebabs! Vegetarian Kebabs? Yup… they got those too, in the form of falafel balls! These mamma-jama’s were BIG! I ordered a regular 8″ beef & lamb kebab and it was more than enough to fill up this big guy! The menu has pictures of what each entrée is, and the Kebaba~Fries looked exactly that… Kebabalicious DELICIOUS… Get in my Mouth! You HAVE To order the Kebaba~Fries! They are smothered in red sauce and covered with feta cheese.(a lil spicy but not hot) One order is more than enough for two people! The restaurant is very small, just a few tables inside and several more that wrap around the building along the side and back deck. Below the back deck, there’s a small stage and play area for kids. Luckily there was a big screen on the back deck where I was able to watch a little bit of the World Cup. Come check it out, it sits on the corner of 7th& Navasota Street.

do yourself a favor: follow their trucks on twitter/facebook/their website and hunt.them.down. I’ve never not been able to find them on a Saturday night, and I’ve waited in the cold, rain, sticky humid heat, and pleas from my friends to «just find somewhere else to eat,» for them to open. Their cute little story started somewhere in Switzerland when the owners first had doner kebab, like all of us Americans who visit Europe they weren’t expecting the incredible deliciousness that could emanate from such a simple food group, yes doner kebab is a food group, it’s THE food group. I’m not even ashamed that I order a King– sized lamb kebab with red sauce and feisty feta EVERYSINGLETIME. And I promise myself that next time I’ll order an extra to have at the end of the night, I never do, and I wouldn’t recommend it. At least a dozen of my friends have learned that this is the place to go during a night on 6th, the trick is to plan it amid the bar hopping because being the perfect food that doner kebab is, it both energizes you and soaks up all those jagerbombs. If only I could convince them to drive to Vegas and cater my wedding…
