Got food poisoning after eating a Chicken Quesadilla from this place. Not sure whether it was from the Quesadilla itself or the green sauce that came with it. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

So we have been attending trucklandia truck fest in Austin and have discovered some great food along the way, it started Tuesday so we have been stoping buy mama vs to try a quesadilla because they are on the check in list on the byte app as a participant. There hours say 10 – 3 am every day and closed Sunday online. Well we came buy every day and they have been closed, finally Saturday nite we show up at 7:30 pm and they are finally open so we walk up to the window and ask for a sample the guy tells me «we aren’t doing it any more sorry no more samples .» I ask him how can you not give any samples if you haven’t even been open all week and close Sunday he says we just aren’t sorry ! First of all why enter the contest and expect to win $ 10000 first place prize if you turn everyone down or dnt even open at all ! Second problem I almost pressed the redeem button which would have gave him credit for giving us a a free sample apparently this is how they get reimbursed. Basically he gives nothing and gets credit for it as if he had. This kind of customer service is what drives people away why even be in the food industry when you aren’t out to give potential future customers any of your so called awesome food that’s the opposite of hospitality. No vote for you mama v thanks for nada!

Tried this place after going out with friends. We were able to walk here from 4th Street in 10 minutes. Really great bar food to suck up the liquor(lol)! I had the 3 cheese Quezzadilla. My friend got a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast taco and a chorizo breakfast taco. My Quezzadilla was delish(I didn’t get any sauce) and I tried her bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast taco and it disappoint either! Overall great experience! You will have to battle a few of the drunks coming from the club but overall a great food in a convenient location!

Yea this place was pretty mediocre. Went here at around midnight on a Thursday and had the veggie quesadillas. They were pretty good value… less than 10 dollars and filled me up… however the quesadillas weren’t even up to par with Taco Cabana’s quesadillas… they really sucked. It tasted old… and greasy… and the chips that were given with it were stale. The egg roll place next door to it is much better… go there instead if you’re ever in the area and go somewhere else for your quesadilla fix.

Solid food truck. Little on the pricey side. Portions are nice and offer a selection of sauces.

The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and so was the cook/owner. The breakfast tacos were decent and the quesadilla was okay nothing outta this world. However, the chipotle sauce is delicious. This place is sufficient after s night of drinking but I wouldn’t come here otherwise.

I sure do love me some quezzadillas! It can be hard to find a quesadilla that has enough toppings on the inside, this place definitely does not disappoint! I like that you can get Havarti cheese on your quesadilla, that’s One of my favorite cheeses. It’s so creamy. My friend and I tried the Carnitas, chicken, and the meatloaf quesadilla. The meatloaf quesadilla is absolutely hands-down the most interesting and fabulous quesadilla I have ever ever ever ever had in my life. There tortillas are part broiled in super deep South Texas close to the border. As close as you can get to a real tortilla without actually making it yourself. I really like that this is a family owned food truck, it gives me a good sense of being. I like to support local families and small businesses. I’m a very social person and I like to talk to people especially. During my short visit at this food truck I met the owner and his wife who were grandma and grandpa, and their grandson as well. I thought my mama v’s on a Saturday night around 1130. It wasn’t too busy but my quesadilla without so fast and so hot. I could not have asked for a better choice. Conveniently located right outside the bars around 6th st and where taxies pick you up at the end of the night. Make this your last stop before you take that trip home you will not regret it! This is me telling ALL of my fellow friends and Unilocalers to check this place out! TRYTHEMEATLOAF!!!

I will recommend this food truck to anyone in Austin for any meal! For one, the service is impeccable. The gentleman behind the counter recommended delicious options and gave us complimentary bottles of water! He also gave me a second dipping sauce for free to try out on my quesadilla. Oh, and the quesadillas? They were some of the most delicious I’ve ever had. We tried both the barbacoa and the meatloaf(YOUMUSTTRYTHIS) and they were unbelievable. Can’t wait to go again!

This was the first food truck I tried out here in Austin and unfortunately no other place I’ve tried after that experience was even close to how good this was. The service was awesome, the pork quesadilla was made with so much love and care, I’m still salivating and I probably will for the rest of my life! So sad I didn’t eat all my meals there now. So impressed!!!

Stopped by after a night on 6th street. The lady working the counter was sweet and helped me choose what I wanted. The quesadilla was hot, fresh and cheesy. I still can’t stop dreaming about the dipping sauce she gave me. Can’t wait to go again.

There can never be enough quesadilla places in this world. I could go on and on about my love of a good quesadilla, like what makes a good one and what makes a bad one. But I don’t want to bore you with my attraction to traditional and funky quesadillas. We stumbled upon this tiny trailer after going out, to which we were calling it an early night. It would have never caught my eye, as I had pizza on the brain. The roomie stalled here, looking hopefully for something gluten free friendly. I’ve never had or seen a GF quesadilla, but they were willing to make her one. If you don’t know this, corn tortillas are not made very large, especially not large enough for a quesadilla. However, they cooked her up one(maybe even 2 to make up for the small size) and for that I give them credit. I ordered the 2 cheese and bean quesadilla. It was delightful. It came with a choice of sauce, and there were many intriguing choices of salsa to pick from. Their menu is vast, including breakfast tacos, breakfastadillas, veggadillas, meatsadillas, and even dessertadillas! They’ve got a little seating area to eat which I appreciated. Unfortunately, for whatever reason at this time of year there are tons of stupid black beetles, and one decided it wanted to cuddle. And ever since then, I’m scared of black beetles. But I didn’t let it deter from my food. I’ve gotta say, I’ll be hunting this trailer down next time I’m downtown and craving some food. You can never go wrong with quesadillas for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert.
