Delicious vegetarian food and gluten free options. I got the spicy curry«chicken» and Belgian fries with tahini sauce. It was delicious, and my meat eating boyfriend loved his sandwich too!

Got a falafel sandwich which wasn’t bad, could have used a bit more even seasoning throughout the falafel. The menu is not extensive and has vegetarian and vegan options. Good healthy not so fast food option. The restrooms were clean, the dining area was clean and when there wasn’t many people in the employees would clean. They have a small unlimited topping bar you have access to with the purchase of your sandwich. Our food was hot and tasted pretty fresh. I would come back!

The food was delicious, especially the vegan curry«chicken» and the broccoli. The staff was really friendly, too.

Really, really good vegetarian/vegan food, inexpensive, excellent vibe. I’d give five stars if they didn’t use styrofoam and plastic utensils.

This is an amazing falafel place. It brings me back to when I was was 23 and in Amsterdam. This is the real deal franchise. Only one in Austin! Great food with fun toppings bar.

I like this place a lot. For the cost of a falafel sandwich, you get unlimited servings from the toppings bar. This includes fried(or roasted?) brocolli, beet salad, roasted carrots, garbanzo salad, tabouleh, and lots of other delicious sides! Anyways, my opinion is that the toppings bar makes everything worth it! Also, I am a meat-eater who enjoys tasty vegetarian meals sometimes.

Was referred here by a friend. I will agree that it’s good. But… The cardamom in the falafel completely overwhelms the flavor. I couldn’t finish it. And, that’s a tragedy cause I loves me some falafel:) I love the veggie and salads bar to add to your falafel. The schug and Tahina sauce are great. IF I go back I will not have falafel and instead try the vegan shawarma.

Food is great and always fresh but the management is stingy and rude. I’ve had 3 consecutive uncomfortable experiences at the register and I’ve decided to not return. The manager/owner who hovers over his employees and arrogantly smiles at costumers is the source of the unease. I wish daily juice would serve falafel all day. Sincerely, Desperate for good falafel.

I’ve been vegetarian most of my life and I can’t believe I’m just discovering this place. I love the falafels with wheat pita bread, and it’s such a good deal considering the condiments/toppings are unlimited. Also all their vegetables taste amazing, I don’t know what they marinate them in but they’re so tasty. Service is also great, they do everything to assure that you’re happy and enjoying your meal.

I am so obsessed with this place. We are avid meat eaters and are very into the Paleo diet and lifestyle, but this is our big«cheat». The people working are always so friendly and helpful the place is always very clean, and the toppings on the salad bar are the most insane I’ve ever had in my life. The broccoli has so much flavor I think they actually might put something addictive and it. I think I go back to the bar three times alone just for the broccoli. Next, we should probably talk about sauces. Get a little tahini, just for principle, then load up and bring the garlic sauce and the curry ketchup to your table with you, you’ll want more. This is one of the few places in Austin where two of us can dine for under $ 20 and leave stuffed to the brim. The reviews with less than four or five stars actually make me giggle a little bit.

Why do you constantly change your menu? Ever time I come in its different. Please remove the fake meats and bring back the mixed fries and Arnold Palmers.

The outstanding service at this location has been provided from the mature man behind the counter for a few years now. The food is simple, healthy, and the falafels taste like they’re supposed to. Lately I’ve been going here just to see the old gentleman behind the counter, and order food of course. Good vibes and energy all over this location. Thank you, respectful gentleman behind the counter!

I lived in the triangle for an entire year and didn’t get a chance to eat here until the week I moved out. I don’t know what is wrong with me because I would have been here every single weekend. I am in no way a vegan or even a vegetarian but I am a fan of good food and service. This place gets 5 stars for both and it sure doesn’t hurt that it is incrediblely affordable. I ordered the normal falafal wrap with the included salads. Out the door, the cost was under 8 dollars and it includes a large serving and unlimited salads. Their salad bar has all the normal items you would find at falafal place with the addition of some amazing broccli/cauliflower mix! I really wish I knew about this place before I moved across the city.

Soooo being an avid carnivore, I was extremely hesitant… ok I went kicking and screaming to this place because my wife made me. I said such things as, «there is no way this will fill me up, I will still be hungry» and«I need meat or else it’s pointless». Boy was I wrong. This place is absolutely delicious and they have a great set up here. Not to mention, the girl working the front was absolutely amazing in terms of customer service and her passion for this made me want to really try it seriously. I ended up getting the felafel and it was DEELISH! They also let you continue to go up to the toppings bar as many times as you like to refill with such goodies like carrots, chick peas, zesty salsa, broccoli and other goodness. Don’t be like the old me and not try this place because you’re closed minded. Even beefy gym guys were coming in here to crush some healthy sustenance so give it a shot, Unilocaler!

I love Maoz! They’re relatively quick, their falafel is fresh, and their lunch special isn’t a bad deal. The price gap between a half and a whole is cents, so you might as well just chip in a get a whole. Their broccoli is AMAZING. Understandably so, because it’s flash fried and doused with olive oil and reminiscent of everyone’s signature brussel sprouts, but man, are they gone as soon as they come out. They also don’t skimp on the broccoli. In addition to the falafel, the limitless salad bar is really what makes this place. Yogurt sauce for days, cilantro sauce, beets, love them all. A great visit for the value.

I’m currently on Day 11 of a sugar cleanse(yes, I’m counting) and was browsing healthy lunch options when I came across Maoz. I enjoy a good falafel and was itching to get out of the house anyway, so off we went! You can pick a sandwich, salad, or wrap and then a choice of either white or wheat pita. I got half a falafel sandwich on wheat which ended up being the perfect amount of food for me. They put 3 large falafel balls in mine(giggle) and my husband got the full sandwich which had 5 or 6 I believe. We both added hummus and got a side of fries and a drink too. They have lemonade, tea, bottled drinks, and even a few fresh squeezed juices which is awesome. Their condiments bar is what makes them stand out to me over other falafel places I have been to. I love all the fresh options like the shredded cabbage, chickpea salad, jalapeños, shredded carrots, cilantro and spicy salsas, cucumber slices marinated with dill, and that garlic sauce! That sauce is my jam and when you dip the fries in it something magical happens. That’s only maybe half of what they had on the bar, the choices were endless. The nice thing is that you can go back up there as many times as you want too. Our name was called pretty quick and we loaded our sandwiches up. The falafel balls are perfectly cooked and seasoned with just the right amount of crispness on the outside. I added carrots, cabbage, and garlic sauce to mine and inhaled it. The fries are made to order in a zero trans-fat vegetable oil and are delicious. They have a lunch special Monday-Friday for a sandwich, fries, and a drink for about $ 5 which can’t be beat. You could spend that at any fast food joint but why not come here and get food you can feel good about eating that’s yummy too! We spent $ 22 for all we got and felt it was well worth it. I only wish they had a location farther north as I would easily become a regular.

I am always nervous to try an earring establishment in a strip center. It can either me amazing or really awful.(Usually the later) I didn’t intend on going there but I thought I would try it out. Following. A strict diet, I pulled in the parking lot to see exactly what they served on my phone. It was nice to know that their website included nutrition information for absolutely everything so I thought I would give it a try. As I entered I was enamored by green tiles on the wall and ceiling(very cool looking). At the register I was greeted by a friendly guy, Roy, the owner. I ordered a salad with Swarma on it. After I received it, I was disappointed to see how the bowl it was served in looked empty. They have a condiment bar to top everything with. And it isn’t just sauces and salsas, it has full items, like broccoli, which was delicious. After my trip to the condiment bar my salad looked grandiose. Then I took a bit, it was heaven, pure heaven. I consumed every last bit. It is out of my bubble, but I will return back for sure.

This place is great! Reasonably priced, fresh, authentic falafel. You get unlimited access to the toppings bar if you dine in. One sandwich is perfect to fill you up. I underestimated how filling it would be. The sweet potato fries were so tasty and went perfectly with the curry ketchup(suggested by the sweet man working tonight). Everything here is vegan, which is awesome. I want to try everything on the menu.

TLDR; I have loved you from the beginning, hence my other two glowing reviews. This is sort of a break up. I still sort of like you, but I don’t love you anymore. I stuck by your side when you raised your prices. I stuck by your side when you took away having free reign of the condiment cups. I stuck by your side even when you forgot my feta and often burned my balls. I stuck by your side when you changed your menu a million times. I stuck by your side when you changed your hours. I stuck by your side when you decided not to count the lunch special on my punch card anymore. I even stuck by your side a bit longer when you took away what I ALWAYS ordered, which was the Jr. Maoz or the Jr. Salad(smaller size with falafels, better portion size). I was GRRRRRRRR when that happened. I was also GRRRRRR when they limited my garlic sauce intake to three tiny condiment cups, when ordering to go. I always ask for a couple more, and usually that request is granted. But this time, I was only given one more. I like to douse my balls in garlic sauce. I don’t see anyone else fighting me for garlic breath all afternoon. What gives with the cheapness? I know you’re not running out, you don’t get THAT much business. Why do you have to be so greedy? The lunch special(currently, but bound to change again) is $ 5.49 from 11am-2pm and it comes with stale pita bread and 2 tiny pieces of lettuce. Not cool. The best thing about Maoz is the salad bar toppings and plethora of tasty sauces. I like my balls saucy. Let’s face it, their balls are dry, and I need to sauce up the balls. But I can’t do that if you don’t let me. So yes, the balls are plain and too crunchy compared to other legit places. The two things you had going for still you aren’t enough anymore. You disappoint me, Maoz.

Leckerer, rein vegetarischer Falafelladen, für einen schnellen und günstigen Imbiss zwischendurch. Das freundliche Personal erklärt einem gerne, wie das ganze funktioniert. Man bekommt nämlich seine bestellte Falafeltasche und kann danach am Salat– und Gemüsebuffet soviel man will selbst befüllen und noch extra in einem Schälchen etwas zusammenstellen. Das Buffet ist all you can eat, der gebratene Brokkoli hat uns unter anderem super geschmeckt. So wird man auch mehr als satt! Die hauseigene Limo ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Hier hat man übrigens auch Männergruppen gesehen, die sich ordentlich den Wanst vollgeschlagen haben. Und da soll nochmal einer sagen, vegetarisch wäre nix für ganze Kerle.;
