In town for the rally. In a hotel near the restaurant and found this place on here. Ordered the Barbacoa taco. It was excellent. Also got a fried burrito. All I can say is amazing. The ladies that worked there were very friendly and did a fantastic job. I’ll have to go back again before I leave.

I work around the corner from this place and I have to tell you… I go there for breakfast and lunch almost every day. Prices are way low and food quality never disappoints. Staff is super friendly. I love it big time !

No frills taco shop attached to a gas station. I have only tried the tacos and the whole chicken here so this review is solely based on those items. The sopes look fantastic, but I’ll have to try those when I’ve saved my fat and calorie intake all day to give those a try. I’ve tried the Asada and beef fajita tacos on 2 occasions. The first time I ate them there and they were incredible and I thought I had found my new favorite go to taco shop. The meat was delicious, the tortillas are homemade, the salsa has a good amount of kick, and it reminded me of King Taco in Los Angeles which is my gold standard for street tacos. If I wrote my review after this first experience we’d be looking at 4 to 5 stars. The 2nd time I got a whole chicken to go with a couple of Asada tacos because they were so good the first time I had to get a couple of those while I was there. I got home looking forward to eating my Asada tacos and when I opened up the foil they were filled with grease. The grease was soaking through the nice homemade tortilla. It definitely did not look like the same taco I ate in store the first time I went. I’m not sure if the taco being confined in the foil caused the grease, but it was a disappointment. Next on to the whole chicken which I’m still trying to find something comparable to El Pollo Loco here in Austin. Unfortunately this did not do it for me. The chicken was a bit on the dry side and very similar to El Pollo Rico. Definitely not the moistness as El Pollo loco which must brine their chickens before grilling them or something because it is very rare to get dry chicken at El Pollo Loco. I would venture to say Inka Chicken is a little less dry then this one. I would say it is definitely worth the experience to give these tacos a try. There is not a lot of seating inside. A counter with a some bar stools. There are a couple of picnic tables outside. Drinks you can get next door at the gas station.

I’m obsessed. These folks know what they’re doing. I usually go in for breakfast tacos and they’re amazing. Homemade corn tortillas are where it’s at. I even took home a half chicken one time to eat for lunch for a few days and it was so tasty!

I was looking for a quick spot to grab some tacos to go close to our hotel and I came across this gem. They make their own tortillas and everything is cooked to order. I had grilled steak tacos and they were so good and inexpensive. Definitely put this on your list to visit in Austin.

I finally had the flautas and they were banging! The one issue for me was they haf a bit to much kick from the sauce. Aside from that another great meal.

I came here about one month ago and can’t get it out of my mind. The tacos are tasty, and the price is good. We were in and out in 10 minutes with only one person ahead of us. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. This is more of a take-out restaurant than a dine-in. They have bar style seating that could accommodate maybe 5 – 6 people. If you’re going by yourself or with a few friends, it’s perfect.

Wow that is good food! The al pastor and asada is cooked correctly, and is very flavorful. Warning: don’t order 4 tacos, a side of beans, and a side of rice, you will be miserable! The food really is amazing, and I’ll be eating the flautas tomorrow, because they lol yummy.

Two blocks from my house, I had high expectations of this place considering the surrounding Hispanic community. I was very disappointed with the barbacoa tacos they were very greasy and the sauce both red and green did not taste that good. The al pastor was not good either. almost ground up meat that was way too sweet. I will try their chicken al carbon and update accordingly.

I’m all about the divey hole in the wallls, but because the gas station next door always seems to harbor a bunch of sketchy individuals, I had no aspirations of trying this place. My bf on the other hand had no problem eating their food, claiming it was good. So one day, my bf & I were in a rush, but staaarrviinng. I don’t know about ya’ll, but I can’t handle being ‘hangry’, it’s just not a good look for me. So we stopped by this place. I’m sad that judged it before I even tried it. I mean it’s not their fault that prostitutes need to make their living 20 ft. away. Annnyywaayy, their food IS fricken GOOD. & it’s not that«oh, it’s good, I’ll be back», but that«drool, I’m dreaming about their tortas & breakfast burritos» kind of good. I haven’t had great authentic Mexican food in a very long time & this place screams YUM. I’m glad that I happened to feel like a starving adult this day, at this time, in this neighborhood, because I probably would have never tried it other wise. &&& because I always have to give props on customer service; shout to the girl who takes the orders at the counter!

This place doesn’t look like much on the outside.(it’s attached to a gas station). The food is AWESOME!!! I had the migas plate, my son had breakfast tacos and my husband had menudo and a Barbacoa taco. Oh, and our friends had a breakfast burrito— so we got a little bit of everything. They have homemade tortillas. They are AMAZING!!!

Holy mecca of Mexican food hole-in-the-walls! I bookmarked this place last Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon the husband and I made the trek over to try them out. As other reviews have said, this is a tiny place — maybe 5 stools inside, and a picnic table outside. Chances are, you’ll going to have to get your food to-go. However, don’t let the above deter you. This place is LEGIT. Hispanic, Spanish-speaking ladies working the grill, fresh made corn and flour tortillas, and service with a smile. I got the chilaquiles and a migas taco, and my guy got the chipotle chicken flautas and a barbacoa taco. We walked next door to the convenience store to grab Mexican Cokes to go with our meal, and by the time we got back, our food was ready. We were able to grab stools and eat right there. Holy bajeebus, the first bite of my migas taco, the heavens parted, angels sang, Javier Bardem caressed my cheek, and Amy Schumer told me I was her best friend. I next tried the chilaquiles, and George R R Martin called to tell me exactly how Game of Thrones is going to end(Spoiler alert: Everyone dies!) and Mark Zuckerberg called to tell me that he’s retiring from Facebook and passing the business on to me. You could say it was a pretty awesome meal. The husband had an equal experience with his food(he won the lottery, Shakira gave him a lap dance, and he was suddenly surrounded by bulldog puppies.) You could say that we’re definitely fans of this place, and look forward to returning every Sunday from here until we have heart attacks from the food and die. Don’t let the sketchy building fool you — there’s magic going on in this little place. Go here, throw money at them, and experience a few miracles yourself!

Great food. Great service. The only disappointment was the lack of ambiance, not many places to sit and eat. The chicken was well seasoned. The portions above what I have usually received. I will return but to get food to go.

5 stars because these were the best sopes I’ve ever had, and I’ve never had a bad one, so that says something. The homemade tortillas are no joke, delicious! Be back for breakfast.

Everyone at work was happy this morning! I love that stinky«nearby» feature, let me tell ya. So, knowing the area, Im like WHERE is this place? I thought to myself, self, this surely cant be IN that damn corner store. and although it wasnt IN the store, it was right next door. So no, its not a trailer, and its not a stand alone, but its well worth cramming up in the parking lot for some delicious breakfast. I cant speak on much else(yet) since we’ve only had breakfast. It was pretty chilly in in there this morning, but I was ordered and out in about 10 minutes or so. Next time Ill definitely call it in! But, the gentleman at the counter was very friendly, gave me some suggestions on what he thought were must haves, and viola. I ordered up 2 of the breakfast sandwiches. DAMNGOOD. 2 Migas. DAMNGOOD. 2 S+E+P+C tacos. DAMNGOOD. I wish I would have ordered a few of their delicious home made tortillas to go, but I didnt. I settled for nibbles of a few of my faves. Got back to work with two bags, and in we went. My sister raved about the breakfast sandwich! It was pretty damn good. Sliced ham, bacon crumbles, cheese and a fried egg on toasted texas toast, UMYEAH! $ 3.95 each I think, but well worth the change, and very tasty. The migas needed a little salt, and I added some fresh pico, but I haven’t had a migas taco that good in a long time. Plenty of eggs, cheese, some veggie, but the tortilla strips were what did it. Perfect, cheesy and hot. The SEPC taco was also delicious! Loaded with SEPC, rolled and piping hot. 2 sauces came with the bags, red and green– green being the HAWT one, so I opted for the milder red one and pico. $ 18 for all, but 3 adults got FULL on breakfast this morning. We WILL go back, probably way too much, for lunch and dinner being we work right across the road. C A S H O N L Y.

It might be in the middle of nowhere, but their charcoal grilled chicken is out of this world. Ordered a half chicken, which was more than enough to fill me. It came with beans, rice, tortillas, and limes to make into mini tacos. Everything was delicious. The meal came with a red sauce and a green sauce. Both sauces were savory and not too spicy. I’d know because I can’t handle the heat. There is limited seating. This is more of a grab-n-go place. It shares a parking lot with a gas station.

Great authentic Mexican food to order. It ain’t Taco Bell – you’ll have to wait while it’s cooked! Hand made tortillas! The buttery bread used to make the tortas is better than any I’ve found in this city. We had the chicken tinga tostadas, carne asada tacos and a torta al pastor and all were excellent. Looking forward to working my way through this menu.
