Pretty bad. Don’t bother. Dry ground beef, no flavor. The worst I’ve had in decades.

Based on the breakfast taco I was just served here at the airport, I will pass on the restaurant.

It is one of the few places open at 5 a.m. at the airport. I didn’t realize how hungry I’d be. Nonetheless the breakfast tacos are lacking the meat they claim to have in them to the point I thought I ordered an egg burrito; however, its the best thing I could find in this terminal.

Our flight was delayed from CA on a Sunday evening so we got to Austin when ALL the restaurants were closing. Nuevo León was only serving bottled drinks and I was complaining to the cashier that we hadn’t eaten all day. She must’ve told the manager because he came to our terminal and offered us some delicious food to go for free!!! Wow! Thank you so much!

I was very thankful to grab 2 breakfast burritos from Nuevo Leon on my way out of Austin at the crack of dawn. The Delta cookies weren’t going to curb my hunger this flight. I ordered a bacon and potato burrito. Both were smaller, but priced appropriately(especially for an airport). The salsa was a good addition and added the perfect kick to my burritos. The coffee was decent as well. This was a welcome treat as I thought I would be stuck with McDonald’s or something equally horrendous.

Amazing how I had no desire whatsoever to relive my high school days and eat a pile of refried beans in nacho sauce, but Nuevo Leon delivered! If you are in a mood for a giant sloppy mess on plate order anything you’d like on the menu, it will look and taste exactly the same no matter what.

This four star review is based on rating against airport food, so definitely not 4 stars compared to regular restaurants. Before boarding our morning flight, my family ordered potato, egg and cheese tacos which cost 2.50 each and were very tasty and filling. The staff was really friendly, especially for an airport, and we were happy to receive one last taste of Tex-Mex before leaving Texas. I recommend this place to anyone looking for really affordable(rare for airports), healthy, filling, and quick options.

Keep walking. This is not what you get in the restaurant. Only the guacamole was edible. I threw away my entire meal. Thanks, I’d rather not eat at all than put the nacho-esque refuse you served into my mouth. Just, wow. Really don’t want to convince tourists to move here? Serve them these shitshow nachos. They’ll get on the next red-eye outta here. Guaranteed.

If I could give a negative star I would. Worst airport food ever. Not to mention a complete ripoff

Grabbed a breakfast taco before boarding my flight. I got the potato, egg and cheese. As soon as I opened it I noticed they were the thinnest store bought tortillas and it didn’t look appetizing. I took a bite anyway. The flavor was not good and here was a huge crunch. I am hoping it was an egg shell. I spit it out and threw the taco away as the smell and flavor didn’t make me want another bite. The«shell»? Was still in my teeth for a while :/

Want a carne burrito with no carne? My $ 9.00 beef burrito had a spoonful of stewed meat buried in a flour tortilla smothered in cheese sauce with an indescribable hot dog sauce. Not Mexican, not edible and I wish I could give them minus stars. Heck, they owe me stars just for trying to choke down this gooey bean curd mess. I should have had a V-8.

If I could give them a negative star I would. They never seem to anticipate the morning rush through the airport and are the slowest, worst service of any airport restaurant I have witnessed. Avoid at all costs. Go to the other end of the airport to eat breakfast.

ABIA doesn’t have much for selection. The food was close to what you’d get at Taco Bell(which I don’t hate, but you get what you pay for). For $ 12 for a guisada burrito, you’re better off buying Doritos and coke at the shop next door, at least there is reading material. I gave 2 stars because the staff was friendly. Save your money, or stop at Taco Bell on your way in, at least it’s friendlier on your wallet.

Literally the worst food I’ve ever had… and at such a high price. The avocado«salad» is shredded Iceburg lettuce and the salsa is the blandest salsa I’ve ever tasted. Jarred Tostitos salsa tastes gourmet compared to this. Unbelievable they are still in business. Plain awful.

Probably the worst airport food at the highest price. Just walk by this place and go to next place.

Chips and salsa: chips chewy and salsa is not up to standard. Hills country burger: the only thing was warm was the bun. Meat patty and fries were cold. Pros: friendly cashier to take your order Con: I think they should relearn what cooking should be for customers’ needs.

Was OK. As expected quite expensive for what you get. A medium sized burro, extra for a side of rice, and a drink, almost $ 14.00. Tasted OK, didn’t make me regret eating and the taking a 3 hour flight. That‘s something.

Ehhhh… it’s airport food. Breakfast tacos were pitiful and their sausage offering was pretty much a hot dog on a tortilla. Coffee wasn’t very good either. But hey, if you’re hungry and on the go, it’ll do…

Austin’s airport doesn’t offer too much variety but it does have this fast food Mexican restaurant. A whole huge container of tortilla chips, fresh guacamole and a nice cold Corona with lime while waiting for a flight, this sets the proper mood while you’re in the state of Texas. If you got a hankering for a good snack, all a y’all should try this place.

I have never eaten at the Other Nuevo Leon before. I saw one in the Austin Airport on Friday when I Was departing Austin and decided to grab a breakfast taco there. BIGMISTAKE. I didnt even eat the taco because it was just gross! I ordered potato egg and cheese… the potatoes were raw… the eggs were VERYBROWN… The taco was ice cold. and it was very tiny for 2.50. There is no part of that that was appealing to me… a waste of my money for sure and I will definitely never be back. I went and threw the taco in the trash right in front of the girl at the counter. and she saw me take a picture then get up to throw it away without eating any of it. yet she couldn’t have cared less… pictures to follow.
