I saw their menu online and was pleasantly surprised that they have vegan options. The ambience and cleanliness are good. The food was served pretty quick as well. I ordered vegetarian platter, and liked it. It was good portion size. Falafel so were cooked to perfection. Overall a nice experience. Will visit again!

We decided to try something new! The food is amazing and the service is great. The lady cashier took the time to go over the menu and recommended different choices for us. She was a huge help! We definitely will be back!

Fantastic food! Inexpensive! Fast! The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because of some cleanliness issues in the restaurant. I definitely suggest carrying out! The wraps are great to go meals that aren’t the worst for you.

When I went in the place was pretty empty, I think I came at the wrong time. Anyways I ordered the P1, takeaway. I would have sat down, the place looked pretty nice an comfy. The food was awesome! one of the best chicken over rice I have had. If you have been to Houston, there is Jones fried chicken which cook new york style chicken over rice, this was pretty much the same. Their hot sauce was also pretty unique.

The staff are always nice the three times I have been here. I recommend the number 1 or 2. Or the plate with the roasted chicken meat(can’t remember the number… maybe 4) I got #2 this time. Delicious!

This is some fantastic Mediterranean food at a very reasonable price. Don’t be turned off by its somewhat drab location sharing a parking lot with a mattress store and Home Depot. The service was very friendly and was helpful in suggesting some fan favorites. We were pleased with the portion size, great value! It’s also nice because this place is open rather late considering its surroundings. We will definitely be coming back to this place for a healthy quick meal many times in the future.

Duuuuude. One of my favorite places to get middle eastern food here. Second only to Halal Bros(or Guys… I can never remember their name) on campus, or Kebabalicious. And it’s closer to home, in the Mueller shopping center. I order the P1 with chicken shawarma. I love that creamy jalapeño sauce and their red sauce is spicy as hell. Mihir gets the P2(the yogurt sauce) with falafel. The rice is out of this world. I am really not a rice fan at ALL and i could eat mountains of this stuff. It’s like the perfect meal — moist, spiced meat, delicious spiced rice, and a fresh, crisp salad. All covered in a creamy sauce. The hummus is great, too. We always get a side of that with pita. Halal Bros(or Guys?) still has the best hummus i’ve had so far, but this stuff is decent and i don’t know if anything beats that P1 with chicken! They have a nice big space to eat in, but we always call ahead and grab our order to go.

I’ve only been here once, but the service was great, the food was delicious, and the place was clean. I’m definitely looking forward to going back and trying other things on the menu!

I figured that as much as I visit this place, I ought to contribute a review to this local family shop. Granted, I haven’t explored their menu much, but I’m absolutely crazy about their beef shawarma. Spicy, authentic, delicious. One downfall is their salad that comes with the plates is pretty weak, often with I ripe tomatoes. Now I just order it without a salad and extra rice, instead. Not worth demoting a star though.

This place is conveniently located beside the Home Depot in Mueller, with plenty of parking. Had lunch here on New Year’s Day, this was my first visit despite living very close. I asked for a recommendation and got the«Crazy Plate» with falafel and cauliflower, you order at the counter, pay, and then they bring it over. They were very friendly and helpful. I was blown away when they brought it over just 5 minutes later, it both looked and smelled amazing, and tasted even better. I’ll definitely be going back soon!

As a fan of the original Kismet Café near the UT campus, I was more than excited when Halal Corner opened up in the Mueller area. Every time I’ve been here the staff has been exceedingly helpful and even offered samples of their mint tea. I typically get the P3(Gyro Meat or Chicken Shawarma) or the Gyro Wrap depending on how hungry I am. The plates are quite filling since they come with rice, hummus, and pita. If you’re in a rush, I’d recommend getting the wrap since the plates can sometimes take a little longer. Be careful exiting westward onto Barbara Jordan Blvd. because you cannot turn around before hitting the frontage road unless you cut through the Home Depot parking lot.

Didn’t realize this place was another kismet so we drove all the way here to try it. I decided to get the P2 which is very similar to halal bro’s chicken over rice. It may seem like a larger portion because they put larger chunks of vegetables but I think you get more for your money at halal bro’s. It was pretty decent with a more nutty flavor compared to halal bro’s. I also got their fresh squeezed orange juice. $ 4 for a cup of that isn’t really worth it but it was delicious and went well with my meal. I probably won’t be going back to this location because kismet is closer but this location is much more spacious and nicely decorated.

This place is a new favorite and another step towards progress in the Mueller plaza. In my opinion, this style of food should all aspire to be the Halal Guys in New York City: cheap, fast, delicious. Halal Corner is affordable(though not as much as it’s NYC equivalent), tasty, and open late. If you’re a fan of halal chicken and rive, you should absolutely give this place a try as it will fill the Halal-sized hole in your heart.

Delicious, filling, and inexpensive! I ordered the P3 with gyro meat and chicken. It came with a cucumber tomato salad, gyro meat and chicken on rice, pita bread, and hummus. It also came with 2 different white sauces on the side. All that was for $ 7.99. It was so good. It’s pretty big inside and there is plenty of room to sit. I also ordered a baklava, which I loved. The only thing I didn’t like is how the girl who was taking my order was on the phone with 2 different customers at the same time. It’s understandable though, we all need to make money.

I had my first experience with Halal food here, and boy, have I been missing out. I had take-out of the P2 with gyro the first time, and I had no regrets devouring the whole thing. Since then, I’ve consistently gotten the P2, but I recently switched to beef schwarma, and now it’s my new favorite! The price point is decent here for the amount of food you get. Honestly, I should save half for a later meal, but it’s really hard to resist eating the whole thing… The service was kind of slow before, but it’s definitely improved since my last visit. The man helping me even came over and took away my trash after I finished my meal :) I’m already eagerly waiting for my next P2.

Very very delicious and a generous portion. You can call in and order, pick it up and enjoy it at home while watching your fave show — perfect way to Netflix & chill. :) I typically get the P2 with mixed meat(white sauce chicken and gyro over rice). My boyfriend likes the P1, which is jalepeno sauce, so I can vouch for those two dishes. They have a wide variety of other things as well, like wraps and meat plates and I’ve been trying to will myself to try them, but I’m hooked on their rice entrée’s for now… Maybe after a few more visits… The rice is buttery and flavorful. The meat is shredded and delicious, like you’d expect from a halal place. What I really like is their generous portion of veggie mix. I like to mix it alllll up together(makes me feel healthy! :P) and add a little extra red sauce(they have little containers by the register, just ask), and then just take my time chowing it all down. I love that it’s close to my home, this is definitely my place to go grab a quick meal.

If you’re all about service… this place isn’t SUPER friendly. Just ok. I had to ask a few questions about my order & the cashier seemed annoyed. But easy parking makes up for it in my book. But food was good for a decent price. Got the P1&P2. The Jalapeño sauce was great! Got a mixture of Kebab & Schwarma– I like the Kebab better. Portions are ok– not huge but not small. Hot sauce is HOTHOTHOTHOTHOT. you’ve been warned. I personally like Halal Bros better, but that’s just personal preference.

Oh, this gets better by the moment. Now, I am giving«racist looks» to the cashier. What exactly constitutes a «racist look» to a young Latina? Because that was our cashier… Also, no. Not my character and certainly not my vibe. This guy… Now I think that this place should be avoided based on this mess alone.

I just got back from several months in the middle east and this food is on par with the better restaurants I ate at out there. We need more places like this in the US. I got the P1 combination with kefta kebab and beef schwarma. The P meals come with a salad. The meats sit atop a bed of yellow rice and is covered in a tangy sauce. Both the meat and the rice were well seasoned. The salad vegetables were fresh. This is great food. Staff is a little awkward I guess because they clearly aren’t from the United States but from the regions where this food comes from so just be friendly and they will be friendly also. I’m definitely going to come back.

Halal Corner is AWESOME. I am so glad this place popped up in my neighborhood because it basically just became my new favorite place.(I know, I say that about a lot of things, but I really mean it about Halal Corner. This place is going to become my new Tarka.) I ordered the P1, which comes with your choice of meat(chicken for me), creamy jalapeño sauce, basmati rice, and salad. I asked for no salad and they let me have extra rice instead. Score!(I seriously do not like lettuce, even though I love all the other vegetables.) The food came out lightning fast and the order was huge. There’s like two to three meal’s worth of food in each order! The food itself was seriously delicious. I mixed all the sauces together with my rice and it was so tasty. The red sauce was great and had a nice spice to it, so I’m definitely going to ask for more of that next time. The rice is seasoned really well, even without any additional flavors from the sauces. The chicken was not dry and was also very well seasoned. I love that all the chicken was cut into small little pieces because then I don’t have to deal with any huge chunks of chicken and it mixes together well, evenly distributing all the parts of the meal. Each bite had a nice chicken to rice ratio.(I wouldn’t complain if it didn’t, because I love rice, but some people care about that sort of thing.) I ate as much as I could and didn’t even get halfway through, but that means delicious leftovers for work the next day. Two meals only cost $ 17 with tax — super cheap! So, you basically get four meals for two people for less than $ 20. Or, if you’re dining alone, two or three meals for less than $ 10. You just can’t beat that. The restaurant itself was very clean, service was friendly and helpful, and it looks like they give out generous samples if you’re unsure of what to order. They also have a wide selection of drinks and I’m excited to try their hot mint or cinnamon tea the next time I go. They also have desserts that looked pretty good, too. Seriously so excited that this place is close to my home and office because that means I can eat here all the time. I wonder if they’ll draw cats on my to-go boxes…
