This place is absolutely delicious. I missed out on them at ACL, but I had their avocado cone this past week and it was great. The almond crusted fried avocado goes great with the cabbage and delicious sauce. Seriously, the avocado is absolutely delicious, and I’m normally not a huge fan. My sister had the veggie burger and loved that too; she said it was one of the best she has had in Austin. Can’t wait to go back!

YUM! Really good and filling lunch. I got the combo with chicken and avocado in it. Quick, tasty, like the cabbage and special sauce.

Stopped by for a tiny snack after walking back from barton Springs and it was worth it. The dusted fries were flavorful

I came at about 7:30pm and there were some people in the food truck area on a Thursday night, but not crowded. I ordered the fried chicken and colesaw cone, which is the aforementioned ingredients wrapped in a flour tortilla shell. It was actually pretty tasty. I don’t know if I would wait in a long line for one, but I would definitely eat here again and recommend this food truck.

Who doesn’t want tasty fried chicken or shrimps wrapped in a tortilla? Throw some avocado, cabbage and special sauce in there. It’s good. They are usually at ACL so I know there will be tasty cones to be had. I’m not big on the fries but the cones are delicious. Get one!

I had the Monster Cone and was not disappointed. Every element was on point. Paired with some cheese sticks, it was a whole lot of fried deliciousness.

This is an averaged rating. Hubby really liked it but I wasn’t so impressed… like at ALL. We ordered the Monster cone, some fries, and an espresso shake. The shrimp were tasteless underneath all that coating(which was good but not great). The chicken was really good though — perfectly cooked and tasty. The avocado was also very good and the slaw was ok, but nothing swoon-worthy. My beef(mmmmm…beef…) was mostly with the superfluous tortilla. The cold, just out of the package straight from HEB tortilla. Does anyone actually eat that? The fries were also no more than just ok. Maybe if I had gotten actual full sized french fries rather than those little pieces you end up with at the bottom of the bag of frozen fries I would’ve been more impressed. The shake was decent but nowhere near worth the money. Next time I would try one of the other food trucks parked there.

Ate a delicious shrimp cone and mozzarella sticks here. The ancho sauce really brought out the shrimps banging flavor. Grandma herself kept going back for the H&C chihuahua’s which dipped in jalapeño ranch was close to heaven. Gave it 4⁄5 because the customer service was sub par.

Chicken cone was very tasty. I would definitely order it again. The chicken was cooked nicely and the coleslaw was flavorful and a great accompaniment.

Cam here bc we saw Adam Richmond came here on TV. Ordered the Monster Cone. It was Okayyyy… I mean I have to admit, the fried shrimp, fried avocado, and fried chicken are quite delicious. But all together was a little too much. Couldn’t finish the whole thing. Cold slaw is super good though!

They are mighty good!!! My husband and I got the Chicken avocado cone & shrimp avocado cone… Both so delicious, but I favored the shrimp cone. The flavors of the crispy coleslaw with the avocado & shrimp was mouth watering. One side note, they could use a different tortilla, or toast it or do something with it. Fries: average… Crispy, the way I like it. Location: Barton springs. Can’t wait to visit Austin & come back!

Enjoyed the«purple pig» cone consisting of a load of pulled pork, purple slaw and some stone ground mustard that tasted strongly of horseradish. Delicious and creative. Was fully satisfied and loved the manageable price of under $ 6. Got some fries in a cone that were also great, dusted in a non overpowering spice. They came with a small container of what I thought to be homemade ketchup. Filled me up and put a smile on my face. Didn’t have to wait too long for food either. Definitely worth checking out

This place seems like it would be pretty good, but I am finally submitting this review because today was the FOURTH time in a row I have tried to go there to get something to eat, during their POSTED open hours, only to find them to be randomly closed. If your website says«open from 11 to 9 every day but Monday,» THENBEOPENATTHATTIME. If you can’t be open at that time, then change your hours. I have given Mighty Cone more than enough patience, so I’m giving up now. Thanks but no thanks

Mighty cone is awesome! I live in Houston, and I dream about their friend pickles. They are just too good, the spears are perfectly coated and the dipping sauce compliments the pickles perfectly. My husband and I always get the chicken and avocado cone, and it is delicious. They are perfectly fried, and the coleslaw is amazing! We love these cones so much, I have even try to make them at home. It is also fun to eat them out of a cone! We love mighty cone!

There aren’t many foods out there that you can consume while holding a beer at the same time. The mighty cone was invented to do just that. I’ll admit, there are times where two of your hands must come into contact with the cone, just to get the job done, but its a pretty neat invention. I have made this at home, thanks to the mighty cone for releasing their recipe, and it was superb. We came for march break and i was so excited to try it. We were in town for SXSW and we were eating at some of Austin’s finest, including Qui. That being said, the chicken cone was the best thing i put in my mouth all week. When i ordered it, the girl asked if i wanted the fried avocado. I hate add ons, they are normally just cash grabs. It was well worth the extra .50. The cone was crunchy, salty, sweet, and the fried avocado just added creaminess. I was slightly bummed that when we went, there was no one around. I believe that the ambiance can make food more memorable and enjoyable. I would’ve loved to eat side by side with all the locals. The mighty cone, was perfection, combining great flavours, creativity, and a reasonable price point.

Love the mighty cone! I had it for the first time when it was at south congress and then it moved to the trailer park at rio grande and I remember trying it there too! I love the chicken cone– it’s so good and definitely fulfills the craving! The fries with seasoning are great. I don’t really know exactly where it’s located anymore considering that I didn’t see it at rio grande the last time I went but definitely worth trying out!

Food trucks sure love to fry things. The cone was tasty but I wouldn’t get it again– which is the real test in my book. Not sure it was worth the $ 7 price for a wrap. I expected a tortilla that didn’t look like it came out of a bag… Not warmed or anything. Just meh. Big props for friendly customer service.

MIghty Cone is pretty awesome. I’ve had them a few times when they were on South Congress, but they’ve moved over to Barton Springs, which is a nice little area. One of my favorite dishes in the entire world is the Crispy Trout at Hudson’s on the Bend– it just so happens to be in my profile pictures, because it’s that good. Well, and my hair also looks nice. heehaww Ok anyway, I wanted to know if mighty cone could re-create that crispy trout. I thought maybe they had the same breading and sauce, and guess what, THEYDO! But, it’s best when they’ve made it fresh. When it’s busy busy busy, they’ll have them pre-made and usually it’s not the crispy juicy perfection one might hope for. Last time I went here, there were few people, so I was bestowed a freshly made mighty cone– chicken and avocado of course. And holy crap was it good. Juicy, hot, and delicious. That sauce makes it perfect! It’s got a nice little southwestern bite that blends well with the mildness of the chicken. And the avocado adds a creamy touch. Ahh Mighty Cone, I love that you’re cheaper than Hudson’s on the Bend. But I also love you, Hudson’s on the Bend… I haven’t seen any groupons recently. Care to send out some more? ;)

The food tastes pretty good. That being said, I took off stars for how drippy and soggy the bottom of the cup always is, for how sometimes you get the nice guy working and sometimes you get the snarky one, for how the salad dressing is just a tad too sweet making you feel confused about whether your food is an entrée or desert, for how sometimes the food takes like 30 mins to come out… But yes, worth trying once or twice. A very niche craving.
